[OVERVIEW]

Metagross can punch holes in opposing teams with its powerful Steel-type STAB attacks and coverage moves that cover many of its checks. Along with its direct offense, Metagross can passively damage foes with Stealth Rock and Toxic. It's also an excellent check to several dangerous Pokemon like Kyurem-B, Diancie, and Tapu Lele thanks to it resisting their STAB moves. Good teammates for Metagross include Tapu Fini, Rillaboom, and Kyurem-B. The former two check Urshifu-R and provide Terrain to let Metagross use Steel Roller. Tapu Fini and defensive Kyurem-B can both help check Heatran, and the latter two help check Landorus. In return, Metagross covers their respective weaknesses to Grass-types like Rillaboom, Ice-types like Kyurem-B, and Fairy-types like Tapu Fini. Metagross can also run Cosmic Power, turning into a fearsome bulky setup sweeper. Rillaboom provides Grassy Terrain healing and can produce free setup turns with Fake Out, making it the perfect partner for Cosmic Power Metagross. One of Metagross's main flaws is its middling Speed tier, meaning it often needs speed control from teammates. It always needs look out for strong Ground- and Fire-type moves coming from the likes of Zygarde, Landorus, Heatran, Volcanion, and Incineroar. Porygon2 can check Landorus and set Trick Room for Metagross, and Naganadel can check Zygarde, Landorus, and Volcanion while setting Tailwind. Metagross also barely damages Urshifu-R; Cosmic Power Metagross especially fears Surging Strikes, which can completely ignore its defensive boosts and 2HKO it.

[SET]
name: Cosmic Power
move 1: Cosmic Power
move 2: Body Press
move 3: Ice Punch
move 4: Protect
item: Leftovers
ability: Clear Body
nature: Impish
evs: 252 HP / 52 Atk / 128 Def / 76 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

* Cosmic Power raises both Defense and Special Defense, making Metagross difficult to KO and boosting the power of its Body Press.

* Body Press offers neutral or super effective coverage against much of the tier. It can OHKO troublesome Fire-types like Incineroar and Heatran after two Cosmic Power boosts.

* Ice Punch nails Landorus, always OHKOing it with the given EV spread. It also offers coverage for Dragapult, one of the few Pokemon Metagross cannot hit with Body Press, and deals solid damage to Amoonguss, which can redirect Body Press with Rage Powder.

* Metagross can recover extra HP from Leftovers and Grassy Terrain while it uses Protect, increasing its longevity.

* The Attack and Special Defense investment allows Metagross to survive Landorus' Earth Power after one Cosmic Power boost and OHKO it back with Ice Punch. The remaining EVs are dumped into Defense with an Impish nature to maximize Body Press’s damage.

* Clear Body allows Metagross to ignore Intimidate, guaranteeing that it will still OHKO Landorus with Ice Punch.

[OVERVIEW]
  • You don't always need to mention every element of a set in the overview; Ice Punch isn't particularly worth noting there, especially when it then sounds a bit like its use is exclusive to Cosmic Power sets which is not the case.
  • The ordering of points you've added feels slightly off at the moment, I would say it makes more sense to move the threats stuff you're adding to just before the Porygon2 sentence.
  • Alongside Trick Room from Porygon2, mention Tailwind from Naganadel for Speed Control as well, and it checking many of the now aforementioned threats.
[SET COMMENTS]
  • You can trim this section down a bit by removing redundancies, like you don't need a separate point saying the same thing about Leftovers when it's already covered with Protect. Add "providing good sustainability" to the end of the Protect point though.
  • Saying Cosmic Power "is Metagross's setup move" isn't very meaningful, it would be better to say it raises both defenses, and that with multiple boosts it becomes almost untouchable.
  • Leave the Landorus benchmark out from Cosmic Power to save for the EV spread point so you aren't repeating yourself, saying it there also makes it sound more like Cosmic Power is used to barely live stuff at +1 instead of comfortably living everything at +4.
  • "Ice Punch nails Landorus" - You should Ice Punch everybody's Landorus, not just Nails'!
  • The first sentence about the EV spread is unnecessary fluff and can be removed.
  • I'd rephrase the Clear Body point slightly to say "ensuring Ice Punch will still KO Landorus" as right now it sounds a little like Clear Body is what makes it an OHKO rather than it preventing Intimidate from taking it away.
[OTHER OPTIONS]
  • There's a line in the Other Options currently about Cosmic Power which should be removed when this is uploaded, so I'd note that here similar to how you did the Overview.
QC 1/2 when implemented

Metagross is also an excellent check to several dangerous Pokemon like Kyurem-B, Diancie, and Tapu Lele thanks to its resistances to their STAB moves. Metagross can also run Cosmic Power, turning into a fearsome bulky setup sweeper. Rillaboom provides Grassy Terrain healing for Metagross and can further produce free setup turns with Fake Out, making it the perfect partner for Cosmic Power Metagross. One of Metagross's main flaws is its middling Speed tier, meaning it often needs proper speed control in order to attack before its foes. Metagross always needs to be on the lookout for strong Ground- and Fire-type moves coming from the likes of Pokemon such as Zygarde, Landorus, Heatran, Volcanion, and Incineroar. Metagross also barely damages Urshifu-R; Cosmic Power Metagross especially fears Surging Strikes, which can completely ignore its defensive boosts and 2HKO it. Porygon2 can help set Trick Room for Metagross as well as check Landorus, and Naganadel can set Tailwind for Metagross while checking Zygarde, Landorus, and Volcanion.

Rearrange the Overview a bit to mention how another reason Rillaboom and Tapu Fini are good partners is because they deal with Urshfiu-R. It is also okay if you change some of what KennyJ already wrote in the beginning of the Overview.

QC 2/2

For reference - I edited out the OO section of the analysis since it was fully written by KennyJ and all you did was remove one sentance. I kept the entirety of the Overview, even though the first half was completely written by KennyJ, since it wouldn't make sense for GPers to find only the second half and I requested a change to be made in the first. Both KennyJ and Crunchman will be credited as authors, the entire QC team will be credited for checking since we've all look at one of the versions, and both GPers will be credited so everything should work out.
