Will these changes be live for FFF?

State of CFM Address

Are you guys dead?
Nope. That's because all of our activity happens on the Discord server. In addition to still buffing stuff here and there, we're also working on a neat CFM-themed ROM hack.

What happened to Fighter Fairy Face-Off?
Ok, I admit some blame on this one. Simply put, after week 1 I got lazy and decided to stop making FFF highlight posts. But that's not all. As a lot of people are currently going through exams for school and stuff (as well as someone dropping out), we have decided to temporarily postpone the tournament.

CFM is gonna be on a small "hiatus"
For the reason why FFF is on break: People are very busy at this time of year, which doesn't leave room for interesting ideas and discussions. During this hiatus, FFF will stop as mentioned earlier, and we also don't plan on implementing major buffs for the foreseeable future.

TL;DR Cool Funky Mode is not dead. It is just slepy
-Dramps

However, there ARE a fuck ton of things in the changelog/To Be Implemented not mentioned in the thread yet, correct? I’m on mobile so I can’t fetch them rn, but someone in the server can.

chiming in to say that the weebly page is quite nice, it's important for a project like this to have a good overview of changes and you're doing a great job. The amount of changes is a bit overwhelming for me though. Good luck with this project.

I actually have a tip regarding changed moves as well: change the name slightly. That way, there's no mistaking it's different. This is more easily applicable to moves than other things but it goes for them as well. I have a bunch of experience in hobbyist game design and clarity is very important.

Hey, thanks for the feedback and kind words :) What do you mean by "changing the name slightly?" I presume that's a suggestion for the romhack? If so, then that's certainly worth considering!

CFM's tough to get into, but if you do ever decide to try it out it's not as overwhelming as it looks. Don't be a stranger to the Discord, by the way ^_^

Hey, thanks for the feedback and kind words :) What do you mean by "changing the name slightly?" I presume that's a suggestion for the romhack? If so, then that's certainly worth considering!
my intended suggestion is to change the name of moves slightly so people don't forget they were changed as easily

Decidueye is the mon I built this team around. SD with Scrappy Spirit Shackle hits tons of things for huge damage, and most Dark types aside from Incineroar are frail as shit anyway, and even then, Decidueye is EV'd to outspeed it. Speaking of which, Incineroar is also present on the team as a bulky pivot that can bring in Decidueye and other allies. Mega Blastoise is an RU staple, able to hit multiple threats for huge damage while eating hits and spinning away hazards. Rhyperior is the main hazard setter that also has great offensive coverage with Drill Run and Stone Edge. The team was a bit slow I noticed, so I added Spiky Eared Pichu as a special attacking offensive mon with priority to boot. Finally, Gardevoir is present as a revenge killer who when in a pinch can heal its allies with Healing Wish.

Remember, please submit sample sets and teams, especially for lower tiers!

Excuse the double post, for I would like to announce CFM's very first teambuilding competition! The rules are simple: Up until Friday 11:59 PM EST, you can submit your teams. In order to qualify, you must also include an explanation of how your team works. Once that time comes, we'll then have a public vote for the best team.

For this contest, we'll be building for CF RU, a fairly underexplored tier as of now. You may start building now.

here's my ru team for the teambuilding competition

Cinccino @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Seed

- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off

Spiritomb provides sleep and great stabs in power of alchemy return and the general dark type "punish" moves, Ribombee is an extremely fast versatile special attacker, gallade spreads paralysis and cockblocks slower set up mons with taunt, dugtrio synergizes with gallade defensively and provides rocks and can memento when it's about to die, lanturn is a pivot and the team's main means to deal with fire types, cinccino just hits insanely hard with technician tail slap and bullet seed as well as providing minor utility in rapid spin and knock off.
