"Well, I've heard that both of the labels we're showcasing today have some absolutely fascinating lineups prepared for us. Take Azelfie went with a more modern style in their collection, featuring designs full of jagged edges and distinctive silhouettes. Meanwhile, Florina Liastacia appears to have chosen a 'global' theme for their collection; they've taken one general design and produced several variations utilizing motifs from different regions of the world. Both the contestants sound quite promising, in my opinion."

All right, the first model to walk the runway today is Druddigon, sporting a snazzy geometric-looking outfit! Man, the way he stomps across that runway just radiates confidence!

"Wearing an EXP share as an accessory is, well... questionable, but I think it works with this ensemble at least. The suit's avant-garde design, plus the high-tech accessory, gives our model here quite a futuristic appearance. It's charming."

I guess, but didn't the wearable-tech craze die, like, five years ago? In any case, here comes the next model, wearing a cloak covered in what appears to be glistening sand-colored sequins!

"I would say it's-- Hey, Druddigon, watch where you're swinging that big tail of yours! You're going to--!"

Oh no... As Druddigon was posing, his tail slammed into Burmy and tore a huge seam in the cloak! Looks like Burmy is going to have to rush back to the changing room to get that fixed. Florina Liastacia needs to get another model on the runway ASAP or it's gonna be a disaster!

"That's a real shame... Well, hopefully her trainer can get the outfit mended in time for us to appreciate later before the show's over."

You know, now that you mention it, the colors of Druddigon's outfit seem to clash quite a bit, don't they?

"See, that's what I say! It was palatable enough at first -- I mean, blue, yellow, red, and white is a lot of colors, but at least it leaves a strong impression -- but now I see purple around the tail area too? There's too much going on at once!"

Yeah, I agree. When you put the two side-by-side, the simple elegance of Burmy's outfit really makes it stand out as the winner, in my opinion.

Well that's... interesting to say the least. It's an outfit made entirely out of discarded urban waste! What do you think of it, Lucy?

"It's a novel idea. The craftsmanship is faultless, and despite the materials it has a fairly coherent color palette. When you compare it to the previous outfit we saw (with the greenery and fresh flowers), it's plainly clear that this is making a sociopolitical statement about the dangers of human pollution."

You really think so? I thought it was more about the contradictory nature of human consumerism with relation to individualism.

Think about it -- on many of the pieces of trash in this cloak, we can see the names and logos of corporate brands. Poke-Cola, Magnamazon, and so on... It's similar to how humans will wear clothes with brand names displayed on them. In some places, the easiest way for humans to get along is to share the same consumption patterns, and clothing is one way of communicating that consumption.

Because I frankly don't get it either, it's too complicated! If only humans had better noses, they could just use scent markings like any normal mammal, but no~ooo... In any case, I think we've gotten a bit off track...
