:ss/houndoom:
Pokemon: Houndoom
Role: Special Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker, Mixed Wallbreaker
Type: Dark / Ground
Ability: Merciless
Stats: 85 / 95 / 70 / 105 / 85 / 85 | 525 BST
Movepool Additions: Nasty Plot, Earthquake, Earth Power, Scorching Sands,
Movepool Removals: Destiny Bond, Will-o-Wisp, Sludge Bomb, Solar Beam, Fire Blast, Heat Wave, Overheat, Flame Charge, Inferno, Fire Spin,
Reasoning: With Nasty Plot, Merciless, and a great offensive typing, Houndoom can find many ways to break down walls. It can run a Nasty Plot set with a flexible fouth moveslot of Taunt, Toxc, Flamethrower, or Sucker Punch; or it can run a stall-breaking set with Earthquake/Toxic/Super Fang/Taunt.

:ss/electrode:
Pokemon: Electrode
Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Revenge Killer, Dual Screens
Type: Electric / Dark
Ability: Aftermath
Stats: 60 / 105 / 70 / 60 / 80 / 100 | 475 BST
Movepool Additions: Motor Ball*, Knock Off, Crunch, Dark Pulse, U-turn
Motor Ball - 140 BP - Physical - Electric - 90% Acc. - 5-8 PP - Uses user's Speed stat in damage calc. Lowers Speed by 2 stages.
Reasoning: A novel mechanic for a move that will give Electrode a powerful attack that leaves it vulnerable, except against very slow pokemon. For instance, it would outspeed Aegislash and Komala after a Motor Ball, but not Solrock. Moves like Motor Ball, Sucker Punch, and Explosion make it a high-risk, high-reward pokemon that can do a lot of damage if used correctly. Note that Choice Scarf would not boost Motor Ball, but Choice Band would.

Pokemon: Starly (Is Eviolite compatible)
Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Physical Sweeper, Defog
Type: Flying/Steel
Abilities: Keen Eye (H: Reckless)
Stats: 80 / 110 / 70 / 70 / 70 / 90 (BST: 490)
Movepool Additions: Swords Dance, Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Steel Beam, Malfunction*
Malfunction - Steel-type Double-Edge
Reasoning: Random pokemon generator gives me Starly so I make a physical wallbreaker out of it. Swords Dance up and fire off strong options such as Malfunction, Brave Bird, & Double-Edge. U-Turn for pivoting & Roost to heal off some of the massive recoil. The Steel-type also causes Starly to become Stealth Rock neutral.

Pokemon: Greedent
Role: Special Wallbreaker, Status Spreader
Type: Poison
Abilities: Merciless / Gluttony (H: Harvest)

Movepool Additions: Acid, Acid Spray, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Toxic, Gunk Shot, Earth Power, Hidden Power
Movepool Removals: Belly Drum
Reasoning: Sludge Bomb/Toxic + Merciless can be powerful along with a massive 120 SpA & Earth Power + Hidden Power for coverage. Can also run a dumb Gluttony or Harvest set.

Abilities: Immunity | Poison Heal
Stat Distribution: 80 / 115 / 60 / 95 / 60 / 100 | 510
Movepool Additions: Pyro Ball
Movepool Removals: Close Combat, Low Kick
Justification: Solrock honestly sucks currently, so better give some Pokemon it hardwalls. Zangoose is hard walled by Rock-types and gets outsped by Zamazenta, meaning we already have defensive and offensive counterplay to it. Offensively, it is a nuke, it gets a very powerful STAB move with no drawback in Facade and can target Steel-types with its secondary STAB move. Even if Poison Heal is an amazing ability, Zangoose will still struggle with longevity due to its huge hazard weakness and terrible bulk; however this lets Zangoose act as a Knock Off absorber and status absorber once the Toxic Orb activated. All in all, Zangoose demolishes Komala and Aegislash that are extremely good, while struggling with Solrock and Zamazenta that are quite bad atm.

Stat Distribution: 100 / 80 / 90 / 140 / 90 / 50 | 550
Movepool Additions: Aurasphere, Parting Shot
Movepool Removals: every steel move
Justification: Tyranitar is a deadly slow wallbreaker. It gets 2 tremendously hard hitting STAB moves with no drawbacks, one of them allows it to threaten Aegislash which currently walls everything. While it can't touch Komala at all, making it a reliable counter. Despite its great bulk and insane wallbreaking capacities, Tyranitar is held back by its low Speed and common weaknesses to Fighting and Fairy, meaning it currently can only safely switch into Aegislash.

Name of the Pokemon: Lapras

Type:
1644545690791.png
1644545703336.png

Abilities: Technician | Defiant
Stat Distribution: 130/100/80/80/80/70
Movepool Additions: Icicle Crash, Aqua Jet, Swords’ Dance, Loch Lance
Movepool Removals: Frost Breath
Custom Element: Loch Lance -
1644546937101.png
50 Bp. 15 (24 pp) 100% chance to lower targets defense. Contact. Boosted by sheer force.

Justification: Lapras is a cool pokemon (pun not intended) and it could be even cooler as a fat SD wallbreaker. Technician let’s it use technician boosted ice shards and aqua jet, no it doesn’t get icicle spear or taxel cause that would be broke. Loch Lance is very good at pressuring defensive cores, as each hit will do more and more. Also functions as a good stall breaker with the popular perishpool set. Lapras’ weaknesses include a horrible defensive type, being crippled by status, and needing to use weaker priority moves to get by faster mons since it’s pretty slow.

:ss/obstagoon:
Name of the Pokemon: Obstagoon
Role(s): (Choiced Special Wall Breaker)
Type:
1644550486016.png
1644550495833.png

Abilities: Punk Rock | Mold Breaker
Stat Distribution: 93/90/95/80/70/80
Movepool Additions: Boomburst, Overdrive
Movepool Removals: Close Combat, Knock Off, Parting Shot
Custom Element: Overdrive- Same thing but it now matches your primary typing.
Justification: In a metagame with 1 fairy type and 2 fighting types, you might say obstagoon might not get much use. But I say it does. I say in a future meta where we have like 10 more Pokémon it will find real opportunities to get in I say that obstagoon will be a fearsome wallbreaker that screeches in the ears of all that attempts to defy it. I say obstagoon is the ultimate punk rocker. Obstagoon says REEEEEEEEE. Anyway solrock resists both it’s stabs but it’s not a spdf wall so it still takes big damage for a resist before going back into aeg after scouting your boomburst. So it takes some prediction to use, or u can just switcheroo away those specs and cripple something.

252 SpA Choice Specs Punk Rock Obstagoon Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Solrock: 222-262 (50.6 - 59.8%) -- 85.9% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Name of the Pokemon: Wormadam-Trash
Roles: Special Wallbreaker, Choice Specs User
Type: Psychic / Steel
Abilities: Anticipation | Adaptability
Stat Distribution: 70 / 69 / 70 / 105 / 95 / 36 [BST: 445]
Movepool Additions: Photon Geyser
Movepool Removals: Stealth Rock, Shadow Ball, All Bug Moves
Justification: Worm-Trash is able to easily break Solrock and Komala while still being walled by Aegislash. It’s terrible speed and mediocre defenses leave it prone to revenge killing.

:xy/wormadam-sandy:
Name of the Pokemon: Wormadam-Sandy
Roles: Physical Wallbreaker, Choice Band User
Type: Dark / Ground
Abilities: Anticipation | Sticky Hold
Stat Distribution: 60 / 120 / 70 / 59 / 70 / 90 [BST: 469]
Movepool Additions: Knock Off, Rock Slide, Stone Edge
Movepool Removals: Stealth Rock, All Bug Moves
Justification: Worm-Sandy is able to break Aegislash while also removing items with Knock Off. Sticky Hold allows it to come in on Aegislash attempting to use Corrosive Gas to remove items. It’s bad defenses, bad Solrock matchup, and speed lower than Solgaleo allow it to be easily revenge killed.

Name of the Pokemon: Typhosion

Type: Fire / Poison
Abilities: Blaze | Mold Breaker
Stat Distribution: 70 / 70 / 50 / 110 / 80 / 80 [BST: 460]
Movepool Additions: Sludge Wave, Toxic, Sludge Bomb (For doubles)
Movepool Removals: Eruption, Burn Up
Justification: Deals with Solrock well, but when Aegi's involved, it's almost completely walled.

Name of the Pokemon: Morpeko
Role(s): Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Removal (Rapid Spin), Gimmicky Physical Sweeper
Type: Ground/Dark
Abilities: Hunger Switch
Stat Distribution: 90/110/90/60/110/60 (520)
Movepool Additions: Knock Off, Earthquake, Bulk Up
Custom Elements: Aura Wheel now Ground-type in Full Belly mode.
Justification: A typing meant to threaten Aegislash and leave it vulnerable to Solrock. Aura Wheel's type pressures Aegislash all the time, while only pressuring one niche Solrock set half the time. Aura Wheel's Speed boost makes the Solrock interaction more situational, since it can possibly outspeed and run Psychic Fangs/Seed Bomb coverage. Lastly, Morpeko has Electric coverage for future Flying-types.

:ss/glastrier:
Name of the Pokemon: Glastrier
Role(s): Special Wallbreaker, Mixed Wallbreaker, Hazard Removal (Defog)
Type: Ice/Poison
Abilities: Chilling Neigh / Snow Warning / White Out
Stat Distribution: 90/85/75/105/75/90 (520 BST)
Movepool Additions: Shell Side Arm, Glaciate, Freeze Dry, Mystical Fire, Fire Lash, Defog, Toxic Thread (undexited)
Movepool Removals: Every Fighting-type move, Swords Dance, Megahorn
Custom Elements: White Out: This Pokemon's attacks are critical hits if the target has negative stat changes. (Merciless clone)
Justification: With a strong offensive type, a unique offensive ability and mixed capabilities, Glastrier packs a punch. However, its typing doesn't allow it to switch in easily, except against Komala (so far).

Name of the Pokemon: Ursaring
Role(s): Physical Wallbreaker, Choice Band, Setup (Swords Dance)
Type: Normal / Dark
Abilities: Defiant / Honey Gather / Hot Feet*
Stat Distribution: 90/130/75/75/75/65 (BST: 510)
Movepool Additions: Knock Off, Trick
Movepool Removals: Close Combat, Superpower
Custom Elements: Hot Feet- User has 1.5x Speed when statused, ignores Attack drop from burn. (Quick Feet clone)
Justification: Ursaring uses Hot Feet + Flame Orb to get a speed boost at the cost of passive damage over time. like many other subs, this pokemon intends to break down Aegislash, while being threatened by Solrock and Solgaleo. It can use Gunk Shot as a coverage option for Komala. Its main weaknesses are a quad weakness to Fighting (paired with subpar defenses), and 4MSS (wanting to stack STABs, coverage, SD, protect, and possibly trick into one moveset).

Pokemon: Chandelure
Roles: Special Wallbreaker, Defensive Pivot
Type:

Abilities: Flash Fire / Compound Eyes | Regenerator
Stat Distribution: 51 / 60 / 91 / 120 / 91 / 77 (490 BST)
Movepool Additions: Scorching Sands, Blue Flare
Movepool Removals: Calm Mind, Energy Ball, Solar Beam
Justification: Sometimes you just want a wallbreaker to click 1 move really, really well. This Chandelure does that, nuking unprepared teams with repeated Blue Flares while keeping itself alive via Regenerator (which also encourages items other than HDB). Scorching Sands targets opposing fires while Psychic exists as a way to muscle through SpD Solrock. While it is pretty unwallable right now, that's because we have no good fire resists.

Pokemon: Skuntank
Roles: Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Control
Type:

Abilities: Aftermath / Stench | Strong Jaw
Stat Distribution: 151 / 105 / 45 / 73 / 50 / 91 (515 BST)
Movepool Additions: Fire Fang, Thunder Fang, Swords Dance
Movepool Removals: Sucker Punch
Justification: Boasting a great defensive typing, a strong Crunch, and wide coverage, Skuntank makes a potent SD breaker. While it is hopelessly walled by Solrock (barring Play Rough, which will likely be hard to fit) and pretty safely revenged by Solgaleo, it should still be able to make a lot of progress whenever it can manage to get on the field, which should not be too hard once more Psychics and Ghosts are added. It also compresses Defog and can potentially run an AV sponge set.

Movepool Additions: Acid, Acid Spray, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Toxic, Gunk Shot, Earth Power, Hidden Power
Movepool Removals: Belly Drum
Reasoning: Sludge Bomb/Toxic + Merciless can be powerful along with a massive 120 SpA & Earth Power + Hidden Power for coverage. Can also work with corrosion + Toxic to cripple Steel-types.
:starly: This Pokemon has way too much going for it. Flying/Steel is an incredible defensive typing so it will find opportunities to set up (especially with Eviolite accounted for), its speed tier is absolutely crazy, and it has dual 144 BP STABs to go with it. I'd recommend cutting down the Speed significantly and replace Shift Gear with Swords Dance (or just removing it entirely). Shift Gear makes it way too much of a Sweeper compared to a Wallbreaker rn.
:greedent: I feel like Corrosion will overshadow Merciless here just because an unblockable Toxic is very potent. Also consider slightly cutting speed, 120/105 offenses is a lot.

Double fire. That's a bit awkward! Sorry about all the delays, but with a break coming up in my schedule I hope that I can speed up my pace in this mod. I feel like we could use another defensive pillar in the meta, so the next slate, which lasts a week, will be:

Name of the Pokemon: Drifblim
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Status Absorber, Hazard Removal (Defog)
Type:

Abilities: Flare Boost | Filter | Natural Cure
Stat Distribution: 150 / 70 / 59 / 70 / 69 / 50 (478 BST)
Movepool Additions: Corrosive Gas, Sludge Wave, Venom Drench, Venoshock, Risky Medicine
Movepool Removals: Calm Mind, Thunder Wave, Knock Off
Custom Elements: Risky Medicine - Poison Type - Status - 10 PP - The user drains 1/3rd of its health and switches out, it's replacement receiving 1/3 of the user's HP.
Justification: A defensive pivot that can heal it's allies for a cost of it's own health, Drifblim can be supportive to who it pivots into. despite pivot-wish sounding broken beyond repair, Aegislash at most heals for 3/4 HP, and Solrock for only a little over 1/4th. This, however, comes at a cost of Drifblim losing 1/3rd of it's health and potentially another 1/4th due to hazards such as Stealth Rocks. Drifblim's only recovery options are Pain Split (In most cases, useless) and Strength Sap, so if it is facing an opponent who is specially oriented, it may not be able to endure for long.

Name of the Pokemon: Klefki
Role(s): Set-up Sweeper, Hazard Setter (Spikes), Hazard Removal (Defog),

Type:

Abilities: Prankster | Intimidate
Stat Distribution: 70 / 87 / 91 / 77 / 80 / 97 (501 BST)
Movepool Additions: Bulk Up, Drain Punch, Thousand Waves, Life Dew
Movepool Removals: Calm Mind, Light Screen, Reflect, Thunder Wave, Switcheroo
Justification: It's Key-Jingling, Spikes-Setting, Bulk-Upping, Intimidating, De-Fogging Klefki. Klefki has been dialed back in terms of pure Prankster support, and has now utilized these pranking abilities to create self-support by using Bulk Up along with other Klefki classics such as Defog, and Spikes allow it to pick and choose who comes in and who goes out. For those who just want raw damage, Intimidate allows Klefki to get more theoretical bulk, allowing it to safely Bulk Up

Justification: The notoriously protective grandpa who would burn a house down if the child it's protecting is hurt. Under normal circumstances this defensive pivot can eat a hit or 2, deal some damage, defog hazards, and swap with U-turn. HOWEVER, if an ally fainted last turn, Drampa will hit like a steam train for 1 turn, able to turn Drampa into a surprise wallbreaker to force progress in the game. A removal of a lot of moves to limit its BONKERS movepool to more of a solid good movepool. Its 40 speed means even Komala can outspeed it, so don't think you'll be faster than anything. Introducing the flying typing since Drampa could actually fly in the anime, but also means things like Solrock can hit it super effectively while still being able to check the wallbreakers of Zangoose and Chandelure.

:ss/tauros:

Name of the Pokemon: Tauros
Role(s): Set-Up Sweeper, Physical Wallbreaker
Type: Ground
Abilities: Pressure | Moxie | Defiant
Stat Distribution: 67/102/80/60/85/112 (506 BST)
Movepool Additions: Bulk Up
Movepool Removals: Close Combat
Justification: The Gen 1 legend himself Tauros. Becoming the fastest mon in the meta, Tauros can set up using Bulk Up and charge through the opponent's team. Its current movepool is sufficient to breaking through the likes of Aegislash and Komala without breaking a sweat, while still having a counter in the form of Solrock, who can sit on Tauros with Close Combat missing, and threaten a DEVASTATING body press as even +1 defense on Tauros gets 2HKOd by BPress. With its high speed it doesn't need too much bulk to set up, but can instead force a swap on Aegislash with Earthquake, and Bulk Up instead, increasing its physical bulk and can use its blazing speed at +1 to deal serious damage. Beware when swapping in your Solgaleo though, because Defiant can give Tauros the boost it needs without the need to use Bulk Up, and instantly drill a hole through the opponents team.

:qwilfish:
Name of the Pokemon: Qwilfish
Role(s): Defensive pivot, Spikes setter, Choice Scarf user
Type: Dark/Poison
Abilities: Water Bubble / Intimidate / Rough Skin
Stat Distribution: 96 / 55 / 85 / 70 / 96 / 85 [495]
Movepool Additions: Knock Off, Flip Turn, Dark Pulse
Movepool Removals: none
Justification: Water Bubble beats Specs Chandelure locked into Blue Flare, forcing it to switch as Flip Turn OHKOs after Stealth Rock. Scorching Sands doesn't make it perfect, but you do outspeed it anyways. Scarf sets with Flip might be kinda fun, and may find value in Intimidate.

:celesteela:
Name of the Pokemon: Celesteela
Role(s): special sweeper, status absorber/knock absorber
Type: Steel/Flying
Abilities: Flare Boost / Weak Armor
Stat Distribution: 82 / 86 / 88 / 92 / 86 / 61 [495]
Movepool Additions: none
Movepool Removals: none
Justification: Scared out by the Fires but does pretty well once those are gone. The defensive utility of this mon is also pretty great. Weak Armor boosts with Meteor Beam sound fun.

:ss/metang:
Name of the Pokemon: Metang (Not Eviolite compatible)
Role(s): Set-Up Sweeper
Type: Steel
Abilities: Berserk / Motor Drive / Clear Body
Stat Distribution: 75 / 55 / 90 / 100 / 80 / 80 (480)
Movepool Additions: Techno Blast, Nasty Plot
Movepool Removals: Meteor Beam, Shadow Ball
Justification: A special sweeper that chooses its own checks by using Techno Blast. Running Drives instead of actual items is worth it, since it has meh coverage options otherwise. This also means Metang will likely be running NP+Agility, as there's not much else worth running. Techno Blast offers Fire coverage to hit opposing Steel-types, Water coverage to hit Fire-types, Electric coverage to hit Water-types, 3 out of 4 types that resist its Steel STAB. There's also Ice, but that makes it walled by Steels, so probably not good.
(Credit to Spook for letting me use his scrapped idea)
