Chespin @ Eviolite
Ability: Bulletproof
Level: 5
EVs: 228 HP / 28 Atk / 76 Def / 156 SpD
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Synthesis
- Seed Bomb
- Zen Headbutt / Rock Slide / Drain Punch

In the current metagame, Chespin has risen as a decent counter to Foongus and Gastly due to Bulletproof and its typing. Chespin can force both of them to switch out and take advantage of the switches to set up Spikes or regain health with Synthesis. Depending on what it needs to hit, Chespin's coverage can vary; Zen Headbutt improves its matchup against the aforementioned Foongus and Gastly, Rock Slide hits Flying-types such as Vullaby and Wingull, and Drain Punch provides a secondary means of recovery and hits Pawniard and Ferroseed. Pokemon such as Magnemite and Wingull appreciate Chespin's Spikes, as it improves their offensive capabilities by wearing bulkier Pokemon down. Pawniard is a great partner for Chespin, as it can act as a Defog deterrent that scares Vullaby out thanks to Defiant and set Stealth Rock. Chespin's passiveness makes it unable to switch in, so Pokemon that generate momentum such as Mienfoo and Magnemite are appreciated. Lastly, despite Chespin beung able to hit Flying-types, a check to them such as Onix is appreciated to avoid getting KOed by them.

Foongus and Gastly due to Bulletproof and typing, being able to switch into Spore and STAB attacks, respectively.
You can rephrase this to bullet based attacks, spore is implied.

Flying-types, a check to them such as Onix is appreciated to avoid getting worn down by them.
Flying types don't really chip chespin, they KO him.

Can we point out that chespin is quite passive, so momentum based mons that get chespin in easily support him greatly.

Great work!

This is slightly over the character limit (this is ~1200, should be ~1000-1100), so I tried to trim it down a bit.

Remove Add Comments (AC)= add comma (RC)= remove comma (AH)= add hyphen (RH)= remove hyphen
