: With snake winning the tournament and it being used a bunch of times throughout the rounds, Trick Room teams seem to be peaking right now. I believe that this is because of the overwhelming nature of many Trick Room sweepers like Mega Mawile, Tapu Bulu, and Hoopa-U, which are just incredibly hard to deal with under Trick Room. I'd really like to read what makes Trick Room so great from snake, considering that he was the main user of it.

: Sand is finally getting recognized as an archetype, which I've felt like it should for a while. While the sand core itself is walled by Arghonaut, which was also an incredibly common sight this seasonal, the positives by far outweigh this negative. The matchup against faster paced teams is definitely the major boon that sand has in the current metagame, easily dealing with hyper offensive builds.

: As you can tell from its incredibly disappointing winrate, Heatran had a really bad seasonal. I think this makes sense, though, seeing as checks like Arghonaut, Mega Alakazam, Garchomp, and faster paced teams in general are starting to pick up.
