For comparison, the stat differences from 133 / 122 / 72 / 71 / 72 / 95 (BST: 565) are -50 / -50 / -25 / -20 / -25 / -30 (-200). This level of stat drop is comparable to the other Ground-focused Gen 4 two-stage line, Hippopotas/Hippowdon.

The stat spread is inspired by Drilbur, whose evolution Excadrill has a very similar stat spread to Colossoil.

I opted for a fairly high BST like Ponyta and Wailmer due to its size and somewhat adult-like features. The change of
-30 / -50 / -20 / -10 / - 20 / -30 I think shows off its softer nature, while reserving some tankiness. I decided to have a relatively high Special attack because of the little sand cannon on its back.

I wanted a more of a defensive stat spread out, I kept the main idea of psychical being higher than special, and both defensive stats are the same. It just looks more like a tank than an attacker.
