CAP 31 So Far

-----

Legal Pokedex submissions must meet the following standards
  • Species Names cannot be over 13 characters.
  • Pokedex entries submitted must have flawless grammar. The CAP mod team will make an effort to correct all issues that are unambiguous when the thread is closed, but you should not rely on this.
  • Pokedex Entries cannot be longer than 32 words and cannot be over 156 characters (this includes spaces and punctuation).
  • Pokedex Entries can only contain the following characters:
    • Letters A-Z
    • Numbers 0-9
    • Dash (-)
    • Apostrophe (')
    • Double quote (")
    • Period (.)
    • Exclamation point (!)
    • Comma (,)
    • Colon (:)
    • Semi-colon (;)
    • Space
Work In Progress (WIP) Pokedex Entries can be posted at any time for comments from the community.

No more than three WIP Pokedex Entries can be posted by any individual person through the entire course of the submission thread. This limit applies to ALL posts made by a single person, even if previous posts are edited or deleted. This limit is intended to curb the tendency for some submitters to spam the thread repeatedly with multiple Pokedex Entries. This detracts from other submissions and makes it difficult for commenters to survey the submission thread.

Do not bump your WIP Pokedex Entries by posting them repeatedly, or making minor wording changes. Bumping will result in the disqualification of all Pokedex Entries by the offender. Editing or deleting bump posts will not prevent disqualification.

Only ONE Final Submission can be made per person.

Pokedex entries Final Submissions must posted exactly in the following format and in the following exact order:
  • The first line of the post must have the words "Final Submission" in bold on its own line. No other text may be included before the bold heading.
  • A blank line
  • "<Pokémon Name>, the <Species Name> Pokémon", with the Pokemon name and the Species Name in bold
  • A blank line
  • The Sword Pokedex Entry submission. Start with the letters "Sword" in bold, then a colon (:), and then the Pokedex entry.
  • A blank line
  • The Shield Pokedex Entry submission. Start with the letters "Shield" in bold, then a colon (:), and then the Pokedex entry.
Below the Final Submission you can post other comments, explanations, etc.

Example final submission:

Final Submission

Dragapult
, the Stealth Pokémon

Sword: When it isn't battling, it keeps Dreepy in the holes on its horns. Once a fight starts, it launches the Dreepy like supersonic missiles.

Shield: Apparently the Dreepy inside Dragapult's horns eagerly look forward to being launched out at Mach speeds.
Any Final Submission that does not follow the proper format will be disqualified.

Final Submission

Saharaja
, the Sultan Pokémon

Sword: When Saharaja is adorned with the gems on its back, it is gifted sovereignty over the desert.

Shield: Saharaja treats other Pokémon it comes across with disdain. It won’t even share an oasis with desert dwellers who need it.

Saharaja
, the Desert Royal Pokemon

Sword: For millennia, the people of the desert have treated Saharaja like royalty due to its ability to store water in its humps for extended periods of time.

Shield: A very haughty Pokémon, it expects to be treated with the utmost respect wherever it goes. Anyone who doesn't meet its demands will be trampled to a pulp.

Saharaja,
the Sultan Pokemon

Sword: A very competitive species, Saharaja are always found in groups comparing diamonds. The Saharaja with lesser gems have to follow their sultan without fuss.

Shield: A Saharaja’s status among its peers is determined entirely by the size and cut of its diamonds. Those with perfect gemstones naturally rise as royalty.

Saharaja,
the Royalty Pokemon

Sword: Though it may look haughty at first glance, this kind Pokemon is always willing to share water from its humps with lost desert travelers.

Shield: It takes great pride in the diamonds on its back. If they are dirtied, Saharaja will spit sand at high velocities towards the offenders.

WIP

Saharaja
, the Emperor Pokemon

Sword: It will lead thirsty desert nomads to flourishing oases, but only if they have riches to gift it with. Otherwise, it ignores them.

Shield: It can regenerate its diamonds through the water in its humps. Its arrogant attitude makes it difficult to study, though.

Final Submission

Saharaja
, the Grand Vizier Pokémon

Sword: Its brilliant blue gems, which contain water, have made it a favorite of desert royalty. It spits upon those it deems unworthy to be in its presence.

Shield: Particularly petty rulers would "gift" a Saharaja to their enemies, its high expenses and grating pompousness bringing them to ruin and bankruptcy.

Saharaja
, the Exuberant Pokémon

Sword: Saharaja tracking is a popular pastime for treasure hunters and those in search of riches, as its footsteps are known to leave behind precious gemstones.

Shield: Despite its regal appearance and its association with diamonds, the crystal deposits on Saharaja’s back are actually large natural formations of zircon.

Saharaja
, the Extravagance Pokémon

Sword: This regal Pokémon has brought the downfall of many kings, who have tried to abuse it's ability to produce crystals out of the water it stores.

WIP

Saharaja
, the Imperious Pokémon

Sword: Legends speak of ancient desert civilizations that flourished from this Pokémon's ability to form precious gems from sand and water.

Shield: A haughty Pokémon that only bequeaths its gems to those who it sees as its equal. These diamonds were a symbol of one's right to rule.

Final Submission

Saharaja
, the Grand Vizier Pokémon

Sword: When beset by poachers, Saharaja wipes them all out by detonating its gemstone humps, though repeated attempts can result in fatal dehydration.

Shield: Once revered for its ability to create riches and oases, Saharaja's fatal flaw was its own greed and pride, which led to the fall of ancient kingdoms.

Saharaja,
the Kingly Pokémon

Sword: Huge crystals, hardened by the desert sand, grow readily on this Pokémon’s back. If you leave a dish of water out for this Pokémon, you may find one of its crystals the next day.

Shield: This Pokémon is kind to those who it considers its subjects. People and Pokémon who don’t treat it with reverence typically change their minds after being pelted with a flurry of razor sharp gems.

WIP

Saharaja
, the Sultan Pokémon

Sword: The jewels on it's back are worth more than a fortune, but Saharaja take pride in their jewels as well and will do all in their power to keep them safe.

Shield: Saharaja can be found inside of old desert ruins, they treat it like a palace and even have treasure rooms for their findings when walking around the desert daily.

Saharaja,
the Sand Gem Pokémon

Sword: The gems on it's back have been formed from the mixing of sand and water inside it's body. If these gems are removed, Saharaja will replace them over time.

Shield: The egotistical attitude of this Pokémon bewilders any who attempt to train it. A Trainer who has gained the trust of a Saharaja commands great respect.

Sword: Haughty and arrogant, even the smallest of offenses will send Saharaja into a rage. Only the most diligent of Trainers should handle this Pokémon.
