In this thread, you may post work-in-progress and final stat spreads for the community and the TLT's consideration, and make comments on other peoples' submissions. The Stats Leader, Lasen will decide on a slate for voting based on the community's input. In the Stats Limits thread, the Stats Leader decided on the following limits:

Limits:
Physical Sweepiness: Limit is 90
Physical Tankiness: Limit is 130
Special Sweepiness: Limit is 120
Special Tankiness: Limit is 120

BSR: Limit is 535
PT+ST cannot exceed 215
T=4
OCAT cannot say "mixed"

Submissions must clearly indicate which Defining Moves were considering developing the stat spread. These moves are listed in CAP 30 So Far.

BSR ABUSE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL NOT BE SLATED!

BSR abuse is doing things like 150 HP and 70 Def/SpD to create a theoretical optimum with the limits that you have. The purpose of the stat rating limits is to restrict what submitters can do, not to give them a license to game the system. If you cannot justify your stats legitimately and have not proven that you aren't just making the best stats within the limits, you will not get slated.

A spreadsheet for calculating the biases can be found here. The formulas' origins can be found here, and recent updates can be found here. Do not use the BSR calculator on-site, as it is designed for DPP BSR. To use the spreadsheet, you will need Microsoft Excel 2007 or higher, OpenOffice.org Calc 3 or higher, or a similar spreadsheet program that can handle .xlsx files. Alternatively, you can upload the spreadsheet onto Google docs. You must have the stat rating values listed correctly in your submission or it will be ignored for the slate.

When you are satisfied with your stat submission, mark it as finished by writing "Final Submission" (bolded) at the top of your post.

Now that our limits are finalized, it's my personal favorite time of the process: Stat Submissions! Just in case some of you missed it, I want to remind you to SET YOUR T=4 FOR YOUR SUBMISSIONS! If you don't know how to, here's my guide from last thread:

https://www.smogon.com/forums/attachments/1634943609526-png.379053/[/IMG]

You will be met with this page. You can double click on the big green box that reads "1.86611" and edit the value manually.

1634943736645.png

Once you have done so, it should look like this. Do not touch any other setting if you're not sure what you are doing.
I chose to start with 30b only for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I believe that 30b is way more volatile, so starting off with it leaves us more breathing room to play around with it instead of being confound and flustered when we already have our BST established. Secondly, I think that doing both formes at once is not the best course of action as it leads us to having potentially completely different BSTs which can completely break our BSR limits if we were to add stats onto our dump stat or remove from it. It also means that we don't have to settle for a stat spread that we do not care much for just because it's sibling seems enticing - example would be Tadasuke submitting a 30b spread that checks all of my boxes, but his 30i spread being just "meh". Would I then vote for his submission? Or settle for a "worse" one in subjective terms? Doing one forme after the other rids us of this issue.
The limits are flexible enough I want to say, leaving us multiple avenues to take this project. However, I'm making it clear that I reserve the right to disallow any spread that I believe is too strong or engages in BSR abuse. As an example, a stat spread that chooses to have a PS<30 just so they can use having obscene defenses and Special Attack will very likely be veto'd; optimization for the sake of optimization isn't what we're going for here, and riding the limits down to the decimal isn't necessary. Be sure to provide as much competitive reasoning as you can in your stat submissions to avoid these things happening.

As a reminder, here's the defining moves list. Submissions must clearly indicate which Defining Moves were considering developing the stat spread.
Required: At least one of (Gunk Shot / Poison Jab / Sludge Bomb), at least one of (Brave Bird / Drill Peck / Hurricane / Air Slash), at least one of (Roost / Recover), Body Press
Optional: Taunt, Knock Off, Rapid Spin, Thunder Wave, Toxic, Ice coverage (at least one of Triple Axel / Ice Punch / Ice Beam), Fire coverage (at least one of Flare Blitz / Blaze Kick / Fire Blast / Heat Wave), Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Acid Armor, Coil

Now that that's all out of the way, best of luck and happy submitting!

The idea of this spread is that 30b will act as a balanced tank capable of switching in on a number of hits and can turn into a threatening offensive presence once it accrues its Stamina boosts.

All calcs will be done assuming 252 HP, 4 SpA, 252 Spe and a Timid nature. The optional moves I am using are Ice Beam and Heat Wave.
4 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Arghonaut: 234-276 (56.5 - 66.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
4 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 128 HP / 108+ SpD Revenankh: 180-212 (50.9 - 60%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
4 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Kartana: 279-328 (107.7 - 126.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
4 SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragapult: 162-192 (51.1 - 60.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
4 SpA Crobat Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Ferrothorn: 180-212 (51.1 - 60.2%) -- 84.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
4 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 356-420 (104.3 - 123.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
4 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Lele: 168-200 (59.7 - 71.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Weavile: 336-396 (119.5 - 140.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

98 SpA affords CAP30b with enough offensive potential to force switches without being so overbearing that it is improbable to force it out. It notably OHKOes Urshifu and Kartana with Hurricane and 2HKOes Arghonaut and Revenankh with Hurricane and Dragapult with Ice Beam

The Speed is used to creep Urshifu. It also outspeeds Tapu Lele and Timid Kyurem.

Special:
0 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 133-157 (35.5 - 41.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after trapping damage
80 SpA Slowking-Galar Future Sight vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 296-350 (79.1 - 93.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 0 SpA Life Orb Clefable Thunder vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 291-343 (77.8 - 91.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Tornadus-Therian Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 313-370 (83.6 - 98.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 160-190 (42.7 - 50.8%) -- 3.1% chance to 2HKO
252 SpA Tapu Fini Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 144-169 (38.5 - 45.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 SpA Zapdos Volt Switch vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 182-216 (48.6 - 57.7%) -- 94.9% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Zapdos Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 142-168 (37.9 - 44.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Jumbao Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 74-87 (19.7 - 23.2%) -- possible 5HKO
0 SpA Tornadus-Therian Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 127-150 (33.9 - 40.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+1 252 SpA Volcarona Psychic vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 298-352 (79.6 - 94.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Physical:
252 Atk Weavile Triple Axel (40 BP) (3 hits) vs. Stamina 252 HP / 0 Def Crobat: 252-294 (67.5 - 75.3%) -- approx. 2HKO
252 Atk Zeraora Plasma Fists vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Crobat: 290-344 (77.5 - 91.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Crobat on a critical hit: 279-327 (74.5 - 87.4%) -- approx. 2HKO

The defensive stats are targeted at giving CAP30b a good number of chances to trigger Stamina off of special hits. Notably, it avoids a Heatran Magma Storm 2HKO, lives G-King Future Sight and +2 Tornadus-T Hurricane. It also has a very favorable roll to avoid a 2HKO from Dragapult Shadow Ball. It cleanly avoids the 2HKO from Scarf Tapu Fini Hydro Pump and lives +1 Clefable Thunder, making it a nice switch-in to the setup fairies. CAP30b can also Roost on Zapdos and Tornadus-T effectively, making them good opportunities to effectively trigger Stamina.
On the physical side, this spread avoids important OHKOes from Weavile Triple Axel, Zeraora Plasma Fists, and Urshifu-R Surging Strikes. Both Weavile and Urshifu are forced out by it via Body Press and Hurricane, while Zeraora cannot outright beat this spread without prior chip damage.

Benchmarks:
Defense is chosen to give a roll to 2HKO Heatran with a +0 Body press into a +1 Body press, but only with rocks up. This ensures that Heatran cannot easily swap into us, but means we do have to show some caution against it. It should be noted that these rolls are only possible with a 252 Def spread, which is possible but not expected. Zeraora maintains a small roll to 2HKO us through Stamina (with my expected spread), but its not great. Specifically we can never KO Kyurem after SR with Body Press at +1.

252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 140-166 (36.2 - 43%) -- 97.1% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 208-246 (53.8 - 63.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Zeraora Plasma Fists vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Crobat: 294-348 (78.6 - 93%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 238-282 (60.8 - 72.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Special Attack is chosen such that we can 2HKO Dragapult with Hurricane and OHKO Cawmodore with Heat Wave after it Bdrums. This also means that you 2HKO Revenankh, break Kartana, and break Arghonaut.

0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragapult: 159-187 (50.1 - 58.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Crobat Heat Wave vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Cawmodore: 182-216 (75.5 - 89.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Lele: 182-216 (64.7 - 76.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Special Defense is chosen such that you can tank through uninvested Tornadus, however still lose to Dragapult, Glowking, and get 2HKO'd by defensive Heatran.

0 SpA Tornadus-Therian Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Crobat: 157-186 (41.9 - 49.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Crobat: 165-195 (44.1 - 52.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after trapping damage

Speed is chosen to sit above the tier's most threatening physical wallbreakers, that is Garchomp and Urshifu. It also is chosen to be below Krilowatt.

This spread is intended to pack a fair bit of power into its Special Attacks at a good speed tier, aiming to eventually break through stuff with Body Press, however its special defense is a noted weakpoint, and while it does hit somewhat hard, it doesn't hit hard enough to dissuade special breakers.

Defining Moves:

Sludge Bomb, Roost, Body Press, Hurricane, Heat Wave

Specifically not giving Knock Off, as I wanna keep Glowking as a very hard answer.

Late Edit: The attack is a placeholder, edit it to match 30i if you want.

85 HP / 65 ATK / 120 DEF / 100 SPA / 65 SPD / 120 SPE

BST:
555
PS: 77.44
SS: 115.46
PT: 120.04
ST: 73.83
BSR: 534.01
Defining Moves: Sludge Bomb, Hurricane, Body Press, Roost, Heat Wave

PT + ST = 120.04 + 73.83 = 193.87 < 215

This spread was inspired by Kartana, in that it has high physical tankiness, good speed, and pretty bad special bulk. Obviously, Kartana uses its ability to boost its Attack, while CAP30b would be using its ability to boost its Defense, so they won't be playing the same. Essentially, CAP30 will more than likely invest a good chunk of its EVs into Speed, but the way this spread is set up, CAP30b can pretty flexibly invest between Defense and Special Attack (i.e. 252 Def / 252+ Spe, 252 SpA / 252 Spe, or some mixture of Defense and Special Attack EVs), depending on whether or not it wants to increase its Body Press damage or its damage from its special attacks.

Base 120 speed means that Tornadus-T, Tapu Koko, and Dragapult get the jump on it, preying on its poor Special Defense. Weavile and Zeraora also outspeed it, and unless CAP30b has accumulated some Stamina boosts, it's not going to hang on for long. Defensive calcs in the following sections.

Base 120 Defense hits some good benchmarks for Body Press, both uninvested and invested.

Uninvested:

0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 128-152 (33.1 - 39.3%) -- 13.3% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 192-228 (49.7 - 59%) -- 75.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 146-174 (37.3 - 44.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+1 0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 220-260 (56.2 - 66.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 56 HP / 0 Def Colossoil: 178-210 (42.2 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 56 HP / 0 Def Colossoil: 264-312 (62.7 - 74.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

+6 0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 248 HP / 168+ Def Corviknight: 200-236 (50.1 - 59.1%) -- 78.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 366-432 (51.2 - 60.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Invested:

252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 158-186 (40.9 - 48.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 236-278 (61.1 - 72%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 180-214 (46 - 54.7%) -- 58.2% chance to 2HKO
+1 252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 272-320 (69.5 - 81.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 56 HP / 0 Def Colossoil: 216-256 (51.3 - 60.8%) -- 91.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 56 HP / 0 Def Colossoil: 324-382 (76.9 - 90.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 300-354 (42 - 49.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

Base 100 Special Attack may not seem like much, but it definitely goes a long way, with and without investment. Hurricane does acceptable damage to Landorus-T and Garchomp, so I didn't feel it was necessary to include Ice Beam at this point (I can still see an argument for it in movesets, though). Hurricane will cancel out Astrolotl's Regenerator recovery, Dragapult is hovering around a 2HKO, depending on investment, and Arghonaut will always be 2HKOed. I chose to include Heat Wave so that CAP30b can act as a Cawmodore check. Sludge Bomb is also strong enough to deal with common Fairy-types, and while Hurricane straight up OHKOs Urshifu-R at any time, Sludge Bomb can pick up the 2HKO also. None of these moves will deal appreciable damage to Galarian Slowking, which is considered a hard check. Ultimately, CAP30b cannot pick all of Sludge Bomb, Body Press, Sludge Bomb, Heat Wave, and Roost, and I don't think there is a fully clear "best" four moves to run, so this serves as a good base to varying how it plays.

0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 248+ SpD Hippowdon: 105-124 (25 - 29.5%) -- guaranteed 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 248+ SpD Hippowdon: 133-157 (31.6 - 37.3%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Garchomp: 135-160 (37.8 - 44.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Garchomp: 171-202 (47.8 - 56.5%) -- 34.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Landorus-Therian: 99-117 (25.9 - 30.6%) -- 2.8% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Landorus-Therian: 126-148 (32.9 - 38.7%) -- 8.9% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 24 HP / 252 SpD Astrolotl: 124-147 (34.1 - 40.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 24 HP / 252 SpD Astrolotl: 156-184 (42.9 - 50.6%) -- 2% chance to 2HKO

0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragapult: 151-178 (47.6 - 56.1%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO
48 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragapult: 159-187 (50.1 - 58.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Arghonaut: 236-282 (57 - 68.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Crobat Heat Wave vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Cawmodore: 174-206 (72.1 - 85.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
48 SpA Crobat Heat Wave vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Cawmodore: 182-216 (75.5 - 89.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 56+ SpD Clefable: 182-216 (46.1 - 54.8%) -- 7.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
144 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 56+ SpD Clefable: 210-248 (53.2 - 62.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Koko: 246-290 (87.5 - 103.2%) -- 25% chance to OHKO
144 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Koko: 282-332 (100.3 - 118.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Fini: 156-186 (55.5 - 66.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Tapu Fini: 156-186 (45.3 - 54%) -- 2.7% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
168 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Tapu Fini: 186-218 (54 - 63.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 356-422 (104.3 - 123.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 147-174 (43.1 - 51%) -- 3.1% chance to 2HKO
156 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 171-202 (50.1 - 59.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 176+ SpD Assault Vest Slowking-Galar: 72-85 (18.2 - 21.5%) -- possible 5HKO

The physical bulk is mostly modeled around having Base 120 Defense, but 85/120 bulk hits some good benchmarks. CAP30b's weakness really lies in its special bulk, but powerful physical attackers are still able to muscle through it unboosted, which I think is important for healthy counterplay. Zeraora will need Stealth Rock chip to OHKO CAP30b, but between Knock Off and Volt Switch, the matchup is still skewed a bit towards Zeraora.

+2 252 Atk Garchomp Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Crobat: 374-440 (120.2 - 141.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Garchomp Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 252 Def Crobat: 304-358 (97.7 - 115.1%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO

252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Crobat on a critical hit: 237-282 (76.2 - 90.6%) -- approx. 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 252 Def Crobat on a critical hit: 198-234 (63.6 - 75.2%) -- approx. 2HKO

+2 252 Atk Weavile Icicle Crash vs. 0 HP / 252 Def Crobat: 366-432 (117.6 - 138.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Weavile Icicle Crash (77 BP to simulate Triple Axel from +0) vs. 0 HP / 252 Def Crobat: 332-392 (106.7 - 126%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 Atk Zeraora Plasma Fists vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Crobat: 254-300 (81.6 - 96.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Zeraora Plasma Fists vs. 0 HP / 252 Def Crobat: 206-246 (66.2 - 79%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Iron Fist Melmetal Thunder Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Crobat: 198-234 (63.6 - 75.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

This is where CAP30b's weakness lies. Its special bulk is enough to avoid the 2HKO from Moonblast from Tapu Fini and Jumbao; although Tapu Fini's Hydro Pump will do a good number into it. CAP30b will always lose to Kyurem unless CAP30b uses Roost beforehand. Dragapult will have to commit a Draco Meteor if CAP30b remains healthy. Heatran will have to land some chip damage onto CAP30b before it can KO it but Magma Storm will obviously do a good bit into CAP30b. Any Future Sight is going to OHKO CAP30b, which is just another way to force it out. Zeraora's Volt Switch will pressure it quite a bit before CAP30b falls into Plasma Fists range. Overall, I think that despite CAP30b's strengths, this weakness will be able to keep it in check and force the CAP30b user to play carefully with it.

252 SpA Tapu Fini Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 89-105 (28.6 - 33.7%) -- 0.3% chance to 3HKO
252 SpA Tapu Fini Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 205-243 (65.9 - 78.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Jumbao Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 106-126 (34 - 40.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252 SpA Tapu Fini Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 205-243 (65.9 - 78.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

200 SpA Kyurem Freeze-Dry vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 314-372 (100.9 - 119.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 232-274 (74.5 - 88.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 376-444 (120.9 - 142.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

0 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 192-226 (61.7 - 72.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after trapping damage

0 SpA Slowking Future Sight vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 368-434 (118.3 - 139.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
80 SpA Slowking-Galar Future Sight vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 428-506 (137.6 - 162.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

4- SpA Zeraora Volt Switch vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 198-234 (63.6 - 75.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 SpA Tornadus-Therian Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 183-216 (58.8 - 69.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Attack can increase to 80 without increasing BSR. That is, if I increase CAP30's Attack stat by 1 continuously, the BSR remains at 534.01 until it reaches 81, where it bumps up to 535.03. Any Attack stat less than 80 could be chosen, but I chose 65 solely because it matches the Special Defense number.

PS: 53.80
SS: 108.37
PT: 90.80
ST: 117.80
BSR: 534.75
Optional Defining Moves: Sludge Bomb, Hurricane, Body Press, Roost

My reasoning for the specific stat benchmarks are given below:

The Speed stat of 78 was chosen to be specifically able to outspeed Heatran. I think this is one of our more interesting matchups as a result of Stamina and Body Press, as well as the fact that Rapid Spin and/or Defog can allow us to stop it reliable setting Rocks. I chose not to go any higher as I believe it is healthier for us to need to invest in Speed if we want to outpace Heatran which commonly uses some Speed EVs. This way we can always make sure we are able to outspeed whatever set is most common, without being able to fully invest into our rather ideal bulk. This also does give Heatran some potential counterplay against us with Earth Power and Roost interactions.

Our physical bulk with the suggested EVs allows us to avoid being 2HKOd by Plasma Fists only if we are able to Roost on the first hit, as well as to dodge the 2HKO from SD Weavile's Triple Axel if it's at +0. Because of Surging Strikes crit boosts ignoring Stamina, not even maximum investment can dodge the 2HKO which provides some important counterplay.

Furthermore our specific defense stat of 90 with the EV spreads mentioned below allows us to hit some important 2HKOs against the common Steel, Ice and Dark types in the meta, as well as Blissey, with +1 with Body Press, and in some cases from 0 into +1. Weavile is destroyed by Body Press irrespectively.

The Special bulk with the suggested EV spreads survives some key OHKOs from some of our pressures in Tapu Koko, Krilowatt and Zapdos. Our special bulk makes us a consistent check to Heatran, although our faster speed with Roost can make us vulnerable to Earth Power as far as counterplay goes, as well as Dragapult which cannot consistently 2HKO us with Shadow Ball even with a drop. We are unable to survive pretty much anything Tapu Lele throws at us unless we're quite physically boosted and they're only running Psyshock, nor dodge the 2HKO from Future Sight, which as far as counterplay goes can be important, especially considering how little damage we do to Slowbro, Slowking and Glowking. We can avoid the 2HKO of Sub Kyurem's Freeze Dry and mostly survive Specs Ice Beam with maximum investment, although at risk of completely sacking some of our physical matchups.

0 SpA Slowking Future Sight vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 222-264 (61.1 - 72.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

110 SpA is a very solid benchmark for us offensively. Uninvested Hurricanes blow through most of the key fighting types to be aware of, including Arghonaut, and also ensures that Sludge Bomb can appropriately threaten the main Fairies such as Clefable which is mostly consistently 2HKOd after Leftovers, and 100% if it's been Knocked off at some point, Tapu Koko which can be consistently OHKOd depending on the investment, and Jumbao. Dragapult is importantly 2HKOd by Hurricane too allowing us to use our Special Defense to leverage the matchup. Although Hurricane is not a consistent 2HKO against Garchomp unless it has taken Life Orb recoil. 110 also maintains the guaranteed 3HKO on Zeraora without overshooting, although one round of Poison will likely swing it.

I have chosen not to incorporate any non-stab defining moves as I believe them unlikely to be run, but uninvested Ice Beam is unable to OHKO SpDef Lando which is a positive, and Heat Wave or other Special fire moves will not completely defeat Corviknight, although it will destroy Ferrothorn much more effectively than Body Press.

50 Atk was chosen as a dump stat to ensure that Cap 30b not bother with physical coverage unless its utility is particularly important such as Rapid Spin, though this of course can be treated flexibly in regards to the 30i's winning spread.

0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 56+ SpD Clefable: 198-234 (50.2 - 59.3%) -- 76.2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Arghonaut: 254-302 (61.3 - 72.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragapult: 163-193 (51.4 - 60.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Koko: 266-314 (94.6 - 111.7%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rillaboom: 348-410 (102 - 120.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 390-462 (114.3 - 135.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Kartana: 307-363 (118.5 - 140.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Jumbao: 408-484 (125.5 - 148.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Buzzwole: 852-1008 (203.8 - 241.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Zeraora: 127-150 (40 - 47.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

The main spread that I have been operating under the assumption of running is Bold, 248 HP, 240 Def, 20 Speed. Even though my 30b spread has a much higher Sp. Def stat, investing in Defense is actually more beneficial in order to maximise Body Press damage after boosts, as witnessed above with the calculations I have been using. That being said it would also be possible to imagine a mixed defensive build that leans more heavily into Sp. Def investment with a Calm nature and no speed EVs such as 248 HP, 108 Def, 152 Sp. Def that allows it to potentially stall Sub Roost Kyurem.

Defining Moves: Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Drill Peck, Roost, Body Press, Knock Off, Taunt, Rapid Spin, Toxic, Thunder Wave, Fire Coverage, Coil, Acid Armor

68 HP / 100 Atk / 100 Def / 40 SpA / 125 SpD / 62 Spe (for copy paste)

TL;DR Overview:
This spread leans more physical in order to target Calm Mind Clefable and Glowking better, take advantage of stronger STAB in the form of Gunk Shot, boost the power of Knock Off, and improve synergy with Coil. The trade-off for going physical is 30b is no longer a mixed attacker, thus making it more vulnerable to physical walls and tanks. Additionally, 30b is much weaker against burns, which I think is a critical Achilles’ heel for an otherwise strong spread.

While I think building more into Special Attack is a valid pathway, there are some great benefits to focusing on the physical side of the typing that are worth consideration. This biggest one is how it affects some match-ups in comparison to the special spreads in the thread. Slowking-Galar and Calm Mind Clefable are the two immediate examples. Most spreads fail to threaten Clefable after a single Calm Mind without substantial Special Attack investment. This spread can reliably do so without any investment by using Gunk Shot. Glowking has to also be more scared of this spread due to its stronger Knock Off. A strong Knock Off helps with the Slowking, Dragapult, and Blacephalon match-ups as well.

Another purpose for going physical is to focus more on Coil. This move has a LOT of synergy with 30b and slots nicely on a Toxic-immune tank. Boosting the power and accuracy of Gunk Shot while also ramping Body Press shouldn’t be underestimated. But this leads to one of the biggest appeals of this spread: its weakness to burn. Even with Coil, if you can get a burn on this spread, it is greatly hamstrung. This intrinsic weakness is a critical balancing point. Once burned, the attacking/boosting sets for this spread are mostly just going to waste your time than pose a significant threat to your team.

The baseline benchmark was creeping Clefable and Tyranitar, both of which should be reliably threatened by this spread. I wanted max Speed neutral nature to hit 223 Speed to outspeed 220-222 Speed Heatran, which 62 base Speed just perfectly does. This forces 30b into something of a tough decision when it comes to EVs. Do you invest in enough Speed to outspeed the common Heatran spreads at the cost of being able to invest in power and bulk? Giving spreads these difficult EV decisions is another important balancing factor and makes the spread overall more interesting, as well as more dynamic for playtest.

The physical bulk is based off two things: Body Press damage, and switching into Knock Off from Zeraora. For the former, I wanted at least 95 Defense so you can always 2HKO Kartana at +1 Defense. I bumped it up to 100 to avoid being KOed by Knock Off into Plasma Fist from Zeraora. With that being said, this spread has substantially less immediate physical bulk by design. To offset its great special bulk and Coil, lowering its innate physical tankiness felt like a necessity. You aren’t going to be tanking CB Surging Strikes or Melmetal Thunder Punches without feeling a little sour (Melmetal Thunder/Ice Punch -> Earthquake on your Roost will KO 252/0 30b, which is by design.) Additionally, I wanted offensive Landorus-T sets to be able to beat 30b fairly well. Intimidate makes it a strong answer; with Smack Down or Stone Edge, Lando-T should pose a significant threat thanks to Bulk Up, Swords Dance, or Choice Band.

The above mentioned weaker Defense is why I felt confident in giving it 125 Special Defense. In fact, it was originally even higher, but that felt over gratuitous. A large SpDef obviously helps with the Clefable and Glowking MUs, as well as Coil synergy. It plays a more critical role in picking up two (and more) positive MUs: Heatran and Dragapult. 252/0 is only 3HKOed by Heatran’s Magma Storm and survives Dragapult’s Shadow Ball with ease. If you decide to go all out and invest in Special Defense, even MODEST Draco Meteor fails to 2HKO. Other Pokemon that will have trouble breaking 30b include Scarf Blacephalon (well, Trick sucks), Tapu Fini, and most Zapdos.

With that being said, it felt important to maintain some poor MUs into extremely strong special attackers to ensure this Pokemon doesn’t become the ultimate spawn of SkarmBliss. Tapu Lele, Ice Beam Kyurem, Specs Blacephalon, Tapu Koko, and LO Krilowatt are still going to be able to pressure 30b, even with max SpDef.

To better preserve offensive Lando-T as an answer.

This spread is designed to hit hard and tank many neutral hits, while still falling to strong Super Effective attacks. It's fast enough to outspeed slow pivots, but slow enough to be damaged by weak hits and fire back with boosted Body Presses.

Defining Moves: Body Press, Sludge Bomb, Hurricane, Roost, Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Rapid Spin

Body Press with base 86 Defense will OHKO Weavile without investment (not including the Defense boost given by Stamina).
252 Defense EVs and a Bold nature allows Body Press to 2HKO Spdef Heatran.
With no investment, 118 Special Attack 2HKOs Clefable with Sludge Bomb and Tornadus-T with Hurricane.
Sludge Bomb OHKOs Tapu Koko without investment
Hurricane OHKOs Urshifu-Rapid Strike without investment
52 EVs in SpA allows Ice Beam to OHKO offensive Garchomp variants.
64 EVs allow Ice Beam to OHKO defensive landorus-T.
132 EVs allows Fire Blast 2HKOs Corviknight.
148 EVs allow it to OHKO Specially Defensive Scizor.
252 EVs almost always (99.6% chance) 2HKOs defensive Landorus-T with Hurricane (for the scenarios where Ice Beam isn't run).

90 / 86 Physical bulk will always survive a Heavy Duty Boots Weavile's Triple Axel.
With 252 HP EVs, Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid will never OHKO with Surging Strikes
With 252 HP, 104 Defense and a Bold nature, it will survive Choice Band Weavile's Triple Axel.
Even with full defensive investment, Zeraora's Plasma Fists will always 2HKO CAP30.

128 EVs in HP will never be 2HKO'd by Spdef Heatran's Magma Storm.
252 HP EVs avoids being 2HKO'd by Specs Dragapult's Shadow Ball.
Full investment (252 / 252 Calm) avoids being 2HKO'd by SubRoost Kyurem's Freeze Dry.
Tapu Koko will always 2HKO with Thunderbolt regardless of investment.
Choice Specs Tapu Lele will always OHKO with Psychic regardless of investment.
Choice Specs Kyurem will also always KO with Ice Beam after rocks damage (assuming Boots have been Knocked Off beforehand).

68 Speed was chosen to creep Corviknight, as well as other pivots like Scizor and Clefable. While niche, maximum investment in base 68 speed has the neat effect of outspeeding Jolly Weavile after Rapid Spin is used.

85 HP / 68 Atk / 84 Def / 111 SpA / 108 SpD / 84 Spe (540 BST)

SS: 111.91
PT: 88.59
ST: 111.22
PT + ST: 199.81
BSR: 532.65

For these stats, the EV distribution I am going to be assuming is 188 HP / 252+ Def / 68 Spe. This spread maximizes bulk while effectively turning Heatran into a switch-in, as we avoid the 2HKO from Magma Storm and 2HKO Heatran a majority of the time with Body Press. For the record, this calculation was determined by setting Body Press's base power to 200, which is equal to its effective base power over two turns (80 at neutral, 120 at +1).

252+ Def Crobat Body Press over 2 turns (+0 -> +1) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 340-400 (82.9 - 97.5%) -- 68.8% chance to KO after Stealth Rock

Considering how prone to chip Heatran is, even percentages around this level are good enough for tackling Heatran. However, I will also be exploring slightly more traditional EV spreads if and when they make a significant difference.
85 HP was simply chosen as an admittedly arbitrary number, but going into making this spread I knew that this level of bulk was around what I was looking for, and 85 HP simply just worked. The 84 Defense, as discussed above, usually 2HKOs Heatran starting at neutral with Body Press, taking Stamina into account. However, this level of bulk also lives a Triple Axel from +0 Weavile thanks to Stamina. With the suggested EVs, you can actually live a Triple Axel from a banded Weavile, but even if you have 252 HP / 0 Def investment, you live a +0 Heavy-Duty Boots Triple Axel when you're starting at +0 yourself. You can live a Life Orb +0 Triple Axel with 252 / 0 Def if you're at neutral, but the odds are rather against you. Of course, if you've lost your boots or otherwise have taken some damage from elsewhere, these calculations obviously change for the worse, but that's just the nature of Pokemon. That said, considering you comfortably OHKO with Body Press, 30b can act as an emergency answer to Weavile provided you get in unscathed and Weavile hasn't set up. FYI the effective base power of three hits of Triple Axel facing Stamina is 77, in case you need that information.

252 Atk Choice Band Weavile Triple Axel (3 Hits) vs. 188 HP / 252+ Def Crobat: 288-342 (80.4 - 95.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Weavile Triple Axel (3 Hits) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Crobat: 276-326 (73.7 - 87.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Weavile Triple Axel (3 Hits) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Crobat: 359-424 (95.9 - 113.3%) -- 75% chance to OHKO
0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Weavile: 704-832 (250.5 - 296%) -- guaranteed OHKO

As a nice bonus, the suggested EV spread is able to live a single round of Surging Strikes from Urshifu if we're at full, which allows us to blow it away with Hurricane (more on that later). We also are able to live two Stone Edges from Garchomp if it hasn't gotten a chance to set up, which lets us scare it out with Ice Beam (again, more on that later). Keep in mind that Stone Edge over 2 turns assuming +0 -> +1 for us is an effective 167 BP.

252 Atk Choice Band Urshifu-Rapid-Strike Surging Strikes (3 hits) vs. 188 HP / 252+ Def Crobat on a critical hit: 228-270 (63.6 - 75.4%) -- approx. 2HKO
252 Atk Garchomp Stone Edge over 2 turns vs. 188 HP / 252+ Def (+0 -> +1) Crobat: 294-346 (82.1 - 96.6%) -- not a KO

The EVs I laid out 3HKOs Ferrothorn starting at neutral even with Leech Seed and Leftovers, which while not the most realistic scenario does mean that 30b can beat Ferrothorn 1v1, even if it is rather annoying. The suggested spread also usually 2HKOs SubRoost Kyurem with Body Press going from +0 -> +1, which allows us to check it. Choice Specs Kyurem is a guaranteed 2HKO, but these stats have a rather shaky relationship with Specs Kyurem, as I will go into later. All you need to know for this section is that should we catch SubRoost Kyurem on the switch-in, we can squeak a win out against it 1v1.

252+ Def Crobat Body Press over 3 turns (+0 -> +1 -> +2) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Ferrothorn: 506-596 (121 - 142.5%) -- guaranteed KO
252+ Def Crobat Body Press over 2 turns (+0 -> +1) vs. 56 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 388-458 (95.8 - 113%) -- 75% chance to KO

We even live one of Syclant's banded Icicle Crashes most of the time with this spread if we are at full:

252 Atk Choice Band Syclant Icicle Crash vs. 188 HP / 252+ Def Crobat: 308-366 (86 - 102.2%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO (max physical bulk is guaranteed 2HKO)

It is worth noting, though, that 30b is by no means physically invincible at +0, as shown by Zeraora (Plasma Fists is the same BP as Stone Edge):

252 Atk Zeraora Plasma Fists over 2 turns vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def (+0 -> +1) Crobat: 396-468 (105.8 - 125.1%) -- guaranteed KO

This is important, as this calc and some of the dicier ones above mean players must think smartly about what to switch 30b into and when. Obviously, the longer 30b stays in, the better these matchups become for 30b, but the main point to note is to be smart about getting 30b in to begin with.
Going into this stat stage, I've believed it to be in our best interest to have a higher Special Defense than Defense, as we can then invest heavily into Defense while still having comfortable special bulk. First of all, this spread avoids the 2HKO from both Heatran's Magma Storm and Specs Dragapult's Shadow Ball (Shadow Ball technically can 2HKO but the odds are so slim it's negligible). We even avoid an OHKO from the likes of Tapu Koko's Thunderbolt.

0 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 188 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 127-150 (35.4 - 41.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after trapping damage
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Shadow Ball vs. 188 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 153-181 (42.7 - 50.5%) -- 2% chance to 2HKO
252 SpA Tapu Koko Thunderbolt vs. 188 HP / 0 SpD Crobat in Electric Terrain: 288-342 (80.4 - 95.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (Koko is a bit more complicated; more later)

If we go for an EV spread that does not invest in bulk whatsoever (which has its upsides to be discussed later), we can still avoid a 2HKO after trapping damage from Magma Storm, although the odds are not consistent enough to where it can be advised to switch in on Heatran with no bulk investment. However, even without any investment, we live Scarf Jumbao's Moonblast extremely comfortably, which is rather impressive considering the sheer power Jumbao holds. We also are able to live a single Draco Meteor from Specs Dragapult without any investment. Finally, even without any bulk, we live 2 Hydro Pumps from Scarf Fini (can technically 2HKO but very rarely).

0 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 127-150 (40.8 - 48.2%) -- 66.8% chance to 2HKO after trapping damage
252 SpA Jumbao Moonblast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 70-83 (22.5 - 26.6%) -- 24.5% chance to 4HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 249-294 (80 - 94.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Tapu Fini Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 135-160 (43.4 - 51.4%) -- 6.6% chance to 2HKO

This is where it gets a bit more complicated. For example, this is the minimum bulk you need to avoid being 2HKOed by Specs Pult Draco:

252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Draco Meteor over 2 turns vs. 252 HP / 84+ SpD Crobat: 315-371 (84.2 - 99.1%) -- not a KO
252 SpA Choice Specs Dragapult Draco Meteor over 2 turns vs. 252 HP / 188 SpD Crobat: 315-371 (84.2 - 99.1%) -- not a KO

Of course, living this rather significantly degrades your Heatran matchup if you have a spread of 252 / 172 Def / 84+ SpD, the maximum physical bulk you could have to still live two Pult Dracos. Since you don't outrun Heatran and are still 3HKOed by Magma Storm, Body Press is +1 -> +2.

0 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 252 HP / 84+ SpD Crobat: 106-126 (28.3 - 33.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after trapping damage
172 Def Crobat Body Press over two turns (+1 -> +2) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 400-472 (103.6 - 122.2%) -- guaranteed KO

While this may seem like a better calculation than with the suggested spread, this calculation requires 30b to take two Magma Storms as opposed to a singular one if 30b got in first. This opens the door for 30b to picked off by something faster than it, as 30b will always be under half of its HP if it solely focuses on attacking Heatran. Even against slower foes, 30b is forced to Roost, which can lead 30b to be set up on or crippled with utility options like Knock Off. Additionally, the calculations I gave for Dragapult vanish if you take any amount of chip. You can invest more bulk into Special Defense, but that further erodes your advantage against Heatran.

Then there is the matter of Choice Specs Kyurem. 30b, regardless of investment, loses to Choice Specs Kyurem. We cannot outspeed it under any circumstances, and even maximum special bulk is not enough:

252+ SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Crobat: 332-392 (88.7 - 104.8%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO
+0 0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 110-130 (28.1 - 33.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

Personally, it is entirely fine for 30b to lose to Kyurem. Powerful special attackers should be our best offensive answers, and this spread fills that criteria in spades. Here are some other calculations of special attackers against max SpD 30b:

252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Lele Psychic vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Crobat in Psychic Terrain: 390-462 (104.2 - 123.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO
80 SpA Slowking-Galar Future Sight vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Crobat: 206-246 (55 - 65.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (Despite the low number and 30b still living even two flamethrowers on top, 30b can't do jack shit to Glowking.)
252 SpA Tapu Koko Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Crobat in Electric Terrain: 212-252 (56.6 - 67.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (Basically showing max special bulk does not change this matchup)

Overall, 30b has special bulk that allows it to comfortably switch into certain threats like Specs Pult's Shadow Ball with the suggested spread, and can check other foes even without any investment in bulk whatsoever. However, it remains offensively dealt with by super-effective hits from strong attackers like Kyurem and Tapu Lele.
111 Special Attack was chosen as it is the minimum needed to 2HKO Clefable lacking Leftovers with Sludge Bomb; even with them, Clefable is 2HKOed most of the time regardless. 30b also always OHKOs Urshifu-Rapid Strike, Kartana, and Rillaboom with Hurricane. Finally, Hurricane always 2HKOs Dragapult and has a slight chance to OHKO Jumbao, which in the latter example means 30b can avoid clicking Sludge Bomb with relative safety if the opponent has a Steel-type in the back.

0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 56+ SpD Clefable: 200-236 (50.7 - 59.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 56+ SpD Clefable: 200-236 (50.7 - 59.8%) -- 84.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Urshifu-Rapid-Strike: 390-462 (114.3 - 135.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Kartana: 307-363 (118.5 - 140.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rillaboom: 348-410 (102 - 120.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragapult: 165-195 (52 - 61.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
0 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Jumbao: 252-296 (77.5 - 91%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

In regards to Ice Beam, it allows 30b to deal with Landorus-Therian and Garchomp in a way it otherwise would be unable to, as well as have an option for Dragapult that does not involve praying you do not miss.

0 SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 208+ SpD Landorus-Therian: 248-292 (64.9 - 76.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Garchomp: 324-384 (90.7 - 107.5%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
0 SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Dragapult: 180-212 (56.7 - 66.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Likewise, Fire Blast is meant for the likes of Corviknight and Skarmory, with whom 30b otherwise has a stalemate against. As a bonus, it always OHKOs Cawmodore, allowing 30b to offensively check it provided we get in before Cawm does.

0 SpA Crobat Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 92 SpD Corviknight: 180-212 (45.1 - 53.1%) -- 89.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Crobat Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 230-272 (68.8 - 81.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
0 SpA Crobat Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Cawmodore: 220-260 (91.2 - 107.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

In terms of our speed tier, as previously mentioned, 68 EVs lets us outrun Heatran, which is crucial to giving this spread as good of a matchup as it does. Without any investment, it outruns a good number of walls such as Skarmory and Arghonaut, both of which do not appreciate what 30b can throw at them. However, there is a fair bit more to this Speed stat.

You see, I have so far been primarily discussing 30b running EVs almost exclusively in bulk, functioning more as a traditional tank. However, 30b is more than capable of running a spread of 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252+ Spe. While this sacrifices a fair number of the bulk calculations discussed earlier, especially on the physical side, 30b in return is now able to outspeed and at least scare Pokemon that can otherwise check or at least annoy 30b, such as Rillaboom (we OHKO regardless but if we're slower we always can catch a Knock Off), Tapu Lele, and Zapdos. Additionally, specific offensive calculations are more in 30b's favor as well:

252 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 56+ SpD Clefable: 246-290 (62.4 - 73.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Lele: 234-276 (83.2 - 98.2%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Crobat Hurricane vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Jumbao: 312-368 (96 - 113.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 208+ SpD Landorus-Therian: 308-364 (80.6 - 95.2%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Zapdos: 192-228 (50.1 - 59.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (Discharge 2HKOs so this is sorta shaky but we can force a Roost if we get in safely. Also my suggested spread 3HKOs Zapdos with Ice Beam and is 2HKOed by Discharge)
252 SpA Crobat Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 92 SpD Corviknight: 222-262 (55.6 - 65.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Crobat Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Skarmory: 286-338 (85.6 - 101.1%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

While this stat spread is more geared towards a traditional tank playstyle, these calculations show a more offensive playstyle is very much possible for 30b to pull off successfully; it is up to the player to determine which spread better suits their needs.
Overall, this spread, while not the easiest to get onto the field, especially if it has already taken damage, rewards correct predictions with the ability to rather quickly become near-impenetrable physical wall with decent special bulk to boot. It does suffer from not being able to do all that it may want to at once with only so many EVs to invest and only four moveslots, but that is part of what keeps this spread from being overpowered. Additionally, strong super-effective hits can very easily crippple or outright KO 30b, especially if it is weakened. At neutral, it can be somewhat vulnerable to super-effective hits physically as well. This stat spread pairs best with slow pivots who can safely bring 30b in to begin its reign of terror. 30b also obviously appreciates the very Stealth Rock setters that it can itself handle, as Stealth Rock makes many of these calculations truly possible. Overall, if you play your cards right and remain steady, 30b can be an excellent asset for the team. Alternatively, if you rush in headfirst and don't watch your step, 30b will be shot out of the sky like there's no tomorrow.

Defining Moves:

The main goal of this set is to allow 30b flexibility in its offensive and defensive investment, letting it adjust to deal with certain threats while still meeting the threshold to deal with specific matchups consistently, such as jumbao and clefable.

The high Spa this set gives allows 30b to 2HKO notable mons in the tier even with minimal investment, allowing it to invest in more bulk if necessary, which either boosts the power of Stamina Body Press or allows 30b more opportunities to build up boosts. On the other hand, Maximum investment allows 30b to wallop more bulky pokemon with its STABs and chip damage from toxic, or threaten certain pokemon that want to swap in on it.

101 defense, while not the highest, allows 30b a lot of flexibility when it comes to using Body Press, notably allowing it to 2HKO many pokemon after a single boost with maximum investment, and still providing good damage with 1 or 2 boosts without investment, allowing 30b to invest in other stats easily.

95/101/89 bulk gives 30b strong overall bulk, allowing it to mix and match its investment between making the most out of Stamina and body press, or shoring up its special bulk while Stamina raises its physical bulk.

Speed
While the 53 speed this set has doesn't allow it to outspeed much, it does allow 30b to outspeed Melmetal in order to survive its attacks, as well as underspeeding Corviknight and Skarmory and allowing 30b to hit both of those pokemon with a super-effective Body Press after Roost.

I thought this very slow build was a flexible but measured "classic tank" approach.

The attack stat is just a dump stat to give 30i something to work with.

I felt we should really run with the fat, slow tank role given the typing and ability, hence the speed tier. We're slower than most of the meta, which I view as a balancing mechanism. I wanted outspeeding common threats to require a lot of investment. 100 Speed EVs are required to outspeed uninvested Equilibra and Clefable; 140 are required to outspeed bulky Scizor, and 156 are needed to outspeed uninvested Corv, allowing you to Heat Wave it twice to KO it on a read if max SpAtk. I don't really see these spreads being standard, because I don't necessarily think outspeeding these mons is needed, but it remains an option.

48 speed also gives you the option to run fewer speed ivs to outslow Hippo so it can't EQ on the Roost if you care about that. Also the speed is the HP inverted ayyyyyy

Defining Moves - Hurricane, Sludge Bomb, Roost, Body Press, Coil, Heat Wave
Hurricane and Sludge Bomb are for strong Stab, Roost is for recovery that has some utility, Body Press for Stamina, Heat Wave for coverage, and Coil raises Defense for bulk and Body Press, along with raising Accuracy for Hurricane.

The point of these stats is too make it fast enough to outspeed certain things, but not be too fast and too bulky or too strong, and I made it a mainly special Pokemon with good special attack and special defense. I opted to give it higher Special Defense than Special Attack to keep it as a tank and not make it too offensive, and the good HP stat is there too increase the amount Roost heals. Its less than great defense is put there because I think it should lean into the special side more, and also because with Stamina it can constantly be raising its physical defense, which means that while it is vulnerable on the physical side early on, its not super frail either and it will gain physical bulk, with good recovery in Roost and decent speed.

105 Sp. Atk lets it 2hko Arghonaut that is fully invested in HP and Sp. Def uninvested with Hurricane, and also lets it 2hko Dragapult with Hurricane uninvested if Dragapult is uninvested, along with ohkoing the previously mentioned Caribolt with Sludge Bomb which could be a threat. It can also ohko Cawmodore with no Sp. Def or HP EVs with Heatwave if it runs max Sp. Atk and a Sp. Atk boosting nature. 60 attack is really just there to be a stat that does something. It also can ohko Tapu Koko without both max HP and Sp. Def Nature without any Sp. Atk investment as long as it has a Sp. Atk boosting nature, and even if Tapu Koko has max Sp. Atk and 30b has no HP or Special Defense investment, it still gets 2hkod by Discharge or Thunderbolt, letting it take one, get the stamina boost, and then fire back and kill Tapu Koko. If Tapu Koko has WIld Charge then with Electric Terrain 30b will get ohkod. Tapu Fini and Tapu Lele can survive a Sludge Bomb without any investment from 30b even if 30b has max Special Attack investment though, so Lele being able to almost ohko 30b with no investment with Psyshock, being able to be targeted on its weaker physical defense and outsped unless it doesn't run speed EVs, and also being 2hkod even if it runs max special bulk is not that great for it. It cannot deal that well with most rock types, because both of its Stabs are resisted and its best move to hit them is Body Press, which could be reliant, but many rock types have high physical defense making it not as good a solution as it could be, especially since it needs defense boosts already to make that work well, and to do that it would be hit by rock type moves unless hit earlier, which would hit its weakness. It is easily outsped by Stratagem with no investement, and ohkod as well by Meteor Beam, which requires a power herb and Sp. Atk Investment if 30b has Special Bulk investment, but it still works and would basically always win unless something happened like Meteor Beam missed and 30b hit it with a strong Body Press. Hurricane just barely doesn't 2hko if Landorus T has maximum HP and Special Defense, even with 252 Sp. Atk and +Sp. Atk nature, and Landorus T can 2hko it with Rock Slide. Sludge Bomb has a 50% chance to ohko Clefable from full if it has 252 Sp. Atk and a +Sp. Atk Nature, but only if Clefable has no HP or Sp. Def EVs. However, if 30b runs at least 212 Sp. Atk EVs and a +Sp. Atk nature, even if Clefable has the max Special bulk possible, Sludge Bomb 2hkos after Clefable heals from Leftovers, and outspeeds Clefable. Because it is Special and has bad physical attack it would get walled by Blissey, and with 85 Defense even if it runs 252 Def and +Def nature and Blissey only has max HP investment, Body Press never ohkos, meaning Blissey won't just die, although with a Stamina boost Blissey does get ohkod. with 115 Sp. Atk Hurricane can never even 2hko Toxapex with 252 Sp. Def, and with more Special bulk with HP and natures and leftovers it would take 4 turns to beat it. 2 Stamina boosts and max Defense just barely doesn't ohko Heatran, making Heatran able to hit it hard at least once, although having good Sp. Def makes it harder for Heatran to do much to it.
It lives a Drain Punch from Cawmodore at plus 6 easily, and also lives a Bullet Punch as long as it has at least 110 Defense EVs, although it will die to an Acrobatics if Cawmodore is not holding an item even if it has max HP and Defense investment, unless it has 2 defense boosts from something like Coil or Stamina. 120 Sp. Def and 88 HP specifically lets it live 2 Eruptions if it hits Heatran with Body press with just a bit of investment in Sp. Def or HP, and it also lets it survive a 3hit Triple Axle from Weavile if fully defense invested with a defense boosting nature, but without HP investment, and that lets it ohko weavile immediately after with a Body Press, although it would be at very low HP, which is where Roost and not the worst speed lets it heal. It would die in both of those instances if it was hit by Stealth Rocks though, because of its weakness to rock. I gave it 85 defense because despite that not being much, with stamina after only one boost its defense is already just as good as its Sp. Def, so it could get hit by a fast pokemon, and roost immediately to heal, but now it has a stamina boost. It takes maximum 92.7% from Dragapult's max Sp. Atk Draco Meteor with Choice Specs, so it would lose that battle, but since it doesn't need Sp. Atk investment to 2hko Dragapult it can just go for Special Bulk and then because of the -2 Sp. Atk stages of Draco Meteor and Shadow Ball's weaker power, it fare a lot better. It does take a lot of damage from Tbolt, so a Dragapult that hasn't locked itself into a move yet and has Tbolt would kill it in 2 turns no matter what. Roost can be prediction reliant, since while if it outspeeds something and roosts, it loses its Rock, Electric, and Ice weaknesses, but gains a weakness to ground making it vulnerable. It is pretty bad against mosst rock types, and things that resist its Stabs but commonly run rock moves like Steel types or Landorus. Being immune to toxic makes it harder to break through, but with rock being a good offensive type, it has a pretty large weakness without many ways to handle it unless it managed to get a lot of Stamina boosts and can Body Press. It is ohkod by Hippowdon if it has no bulk investment if it roosts and Hippowdon EQs, but with at least 240 Defense EVs, EQ never ohkos and Stone edge is always a 2hko, and Hurricane with 108 Sp. Atk EVs always 2hkos Hippowdon. Syclant can ohko 30b even with 252 Def just barely, but only with max Attack, or just a Choice Band if 30b also has HP. If it misses though, Syclant gets ohkod by Hurricane. Arctozolt always ohkos and outspeeds in Hail with Slush Rush without any investment, although if there is no hail and 30b runs max speed Arctozolt needs to run a Choice Scarf and at least 184 Speed to outspeed, although not even invested Heatwave ohkos Arctozolt. Kyurem always at least 2hkos with Ice Beam, and both Slowking's seriously counter it because it can't hit them and they hit it hard with Psyshock.
81 Speed lets 30b outspeed Heatran as long as they have the same investment, along with other mons like Cyclohm and it also lets it outspeed other electric previous CAP mons like Caribolt, Plasmanta, and Krilowatt, if they have no speed investment and 30b has 252 speed, which lets Roost go first and nullify the weakness, which lets it get Stamina boosts. It is outsped by things like Weavile and Zeraora though. It is also outsped by things that can deal a lot of damage, and if used correctly that can be advantageous. 30b is outsped by Dragapult, but if Dragapult has Specs and uses Draco Meteor 30b can abuse the -2 stages every turn and use the slow roost to eventually start setting up with Coil, or hit something hard when Dragapult switches out. It is slower than a lot of the meta but has the chance to outspeed things with investment. Syclant is ohkod by it, but it also has Triple Axel and can ohko back and outspeeds.

Defining moves: Sludge Bomb, Hurricane, Body Press, Roost

This spread leans heavily into physical defense, with a reasonable Special Attack stat to back it up as well as a middling speed tier for a wall.

88 base speed is fairly flexible with regards to things you might want to outspeed. Uninvested you're already faster than a good chunk of walls seen in the CAP metagame such as Tomohawk, defensive Rotom-Applicances, Buzzwole, Tapu Fini and Arghonaut. It takes only 36 speed EVs to outspeed standard SpDef Heatran, 120 EVs catch standard defensive Landorus-T, and 232 EVs (136 with positive nature) let you outpace Adamant Rillaboom. Originally, I was aiming for max speed to beat base 85s such as a knocked/already tricked Fini, the 2 extra points are mostly for a nice aesthetic BST but it also lets you roost on Rotoms and ties with Excadrill (which doesn't do much to this spread either way).

I'm ignoring the Attack stat here because it's really not relevant.

101 Special Attack allows ninvested Sludge Bomb to OHKO Jumbao and Tapu Bulu, and cleanly 2HKO mons like Rillaboom, Tapu Koko (chance to OHKO), Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini. To beat Clefable, you would need 136 (or 40 with positive nature) EVs. Uninvested Hurricane OHKOs Urshifu, has a chance to OHKO Rillaboom, as well as 2HKOs Tomohawk, Arghonaut, Revenankh, offensive Volcarona at +1. It also has a good chance to 2HKO Weavile. Fully invested special attack (neutral nature) allows you to 2HKO mons like offensive Tornadus-Therian and Zeraora with Sludge Bomb, as well as Garchomp and Landorus-T with Hurricane.

The Defense stat allows for a pretty strong Body Press at +1, fully invested Bold cleanly 2HKOs Heatran and can also 2HKO Zeraora, Equilibra, Kyurem and Magnezone. However, most of these Pokemon cannot be 2HKOd by an unboosted Body Press.

With 252 HP/252+ Def, this mon is a solid physical tank already. However, where it really gets scary is when it can switch into a resisted hit or U-Turn to get a Stamina boost. When you get a boost, Zeraora cannot 2HKO with Plasma Fists. You can take hits from neutral hard physical hitters basically forever. Weavile can still beat you with Icicle Crash at +2 though, so you cannot switch in on it.

On the special side it is very weak though, even when fully invested. Strong super effective hitters like Tapu Lele, Tapu Koko and Kyurem have no problems getting past even a fully invested spread, and generally hard hitters like Dragapult, Heatran and Volcarona can muscle past less invested spreads with relative ease.

Generally, I think this spread would make for a fairly solid pivot against physical mons in the early and midgame, and act as a good wincon in the lategame. The spread has clear strengths and weaknesses, and while fairly flexible with the spendage of its EVs, it cannot do everything at once.

64 Speed was chosen because I wanted to go with a build that is slower than most of the offensive metagame but still capable of getting faster than a lot of defensive threats. At 64 Speed, we are capable of outspeeding:
 • :Clefable: Uninvested
 • :Corviknight:: 28 Spe
 • :Arghonaut:: 92 (Neutral) / 24 Spe (Positive)
 • :Tomohawk:: 172 Spe (Neutral) / 100 Spe (Positive)
 • :Heatran: (Special Defense): 228 (Neutral) / 148 (Positive)
64 Speed also has the nice quirk of being able to outslow :Hippowdon: with a negative speed nature and 12 Speed IVs so that we don't have to worry about getting hit with Earthquake during the turn we use Roost. While I do think this is a neat little bonus, I don't see too many people doing this, but knowing that the option is there is something that I think helps this spread out.

Special Attack was chosen as it allows us to 2HKO Utility :Clefable: with an uninvested Sludge Bomb, OHKO :Garchomp: with uninvested Ice Beam after Stealth Rock damage, give us a very high chance to OHKO Specially Defensive :Landorus-Therian: with full investment in Special Attack after Stealth Rock (Or guaranteed with Modest), and 2HKO :Zapdos: with Ice Beam with full investment. Generally, I wanted to give CAP 30b a high enough special attack so that it could hit decently hard and hit some not able benchmarks in the process, but at the same time I didn't want to make it too high, and I thought that 118 hit some pretty notable benchmarks without going to overboard.

Calcs:
0 SpA Crobat Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 56+ SpD Clefable: 210-248 (53.2 - 62.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Garchomp: 340-404 (95.2 - 113.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 208+ SpD Landorus-Therian: 320-380 (83.7 - 99.4%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Zapdos: 202-238 (52.7 - 62.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Crobat Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 208+ SpD Landorus-Therian: 352-416 (92.1 - 108.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

My main concern with choosing our Defense was how to make Body Press as useful as it could be, as I figured that our potential ability to tank physical hits with stamina would be able to serve us well for the most part. 113 Defense allows us to 2HKO Special Defense :Heatran: and SubRoost :Kyurem: with Body Press at +1 Defense uninvested, although the former needs to have Stealth Rock up to achieve this feat. While the later could be viewed as a bit concerning if we want Kyurem to be able to apply offensive pressure on us, SubRoost Kyurem is still able to almost always 2HKO with Freeze-Dry even with maximum investment in Special Defense, which I don't find very likely for people to be running anyways, and Choice Specs can just outright OHKO us with Ice Beam, so it is still capable of applying offensive pressure on us even if it doesn't have a very easy time switching in.

Calcs:
+1 0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 182-216 (47.1 - 55.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
+1 0 Def Crobat Body Press vs. 56 HP / 0 Def Kyurem: 210-248 (51.8 - 61.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
200 SpA Kyurem Freeze-Dry vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Crobat: 186-222 (49.7 - 59.3%) -- 99.6% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Kyurem Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Crobat: 410-486 (109.6 - 129.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

For the most part, I didn't really want us to have super high special defense, because I figured that with Stamina constantly boosting our defenses, we should be somewhat vulnerable on the special side, but at the same time we should still have a respectable amount of special bulk.

The main reason I decided to go with 85/90 is so that with 248/252 HP EVs, we are unable to be 2HKO'd by Moonblast from Modest LO :Jumbao: even after Stealth Rock damage. Given that we are basically meant to counter Jumbao, I thought that this was a somewhat important benchmark to reach. As many of the mons we plan to switch-in to have access to Knock Off, I figured that we would not always have access to Heavy-Duty Boots in a situation like this, and I didn't really want us having our boots removed make us unable to switch in and force out a threat such as Jumbao.

Calcs:
252+ SpA Life Orb Jumbao Moonblast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Crobat: 117-138 (31.3 - 36.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

For the most part, my spread is meant to take on the role of a slow but bulky and strong tank, but at the same time, allow the player to sacrifice bulk or power to outspeed certain defensive threats that they feel necessary. I also thought it would be somewhat important to allow players to have the freedom to choose to invest more into power or bulk, and as such I decided it would be important to have certain calculations involving Defense and Special Attack able to reach certain benchmarks without too much investment, if any at all.

As for why I choose to give CAP 30b access to Ice Beam, I figured that the ability to not only switch into, but force out common Ground-Types gives it a distinct niche that many other Poison types in the tier lack. It also gives us the ability to threaten Zapdos (We still lose 1v1 though, but my intention wasn't to win that matchup anyways), which I think another interesting niche that not many Flying-Types in this tier have. I don't really like giving us access to fire coverage and I didn't really find any of the other optional moves to be super necessary however, so I decided against including them.

Also since BST is actually important for once, I decided to go with 540 BST as I felt that it was high enough so that it gave us more creative control over different spreads for 30i, but at the same time it was limited enough so that we don't have too be too worried about going overboard with submissions.

90 HP / 65 Atk / 127 Def / 90 SpA / 80 SpD / 78 Spe (BST: 540)

With max HP investment, this spread always avoids a 2HKO from unboosted Lando-T's Stone Edge considering Stamina, and from +2 Rillaboom's Knock Off, making it a safer switch-in to come in to them, or as an anti-lead against Lando. It outspeeds Heatran, don't really know if this means anything since neither one is a clear counter to the other, but it just does. It will be OHKOed by Tapu Koko's Thunderbolt 81% of the time, and 2HKOed by Scarf Lele's Psyshock unless it's gained defensive boosts. It takes at least 75% from Banded Weavile's Triple Axel and 80% from Banded Syclant's Icicle Crash, so it will always be 2HKOed through Stamina unless it's gained defensive boosts. It will always do less damage with Sludge Bomb to standard Zeraora than Zeraora does to it with Volt Switch, unless it has SpAtk investment, so it isn't a good Zeraora check. It will also never 3HKO Cyclohm with Sludge Bomb unless it has SpAtk investment, making Cyclohm a good counter to it.
Optional Defining Moves: Sludge Bomb, Brave Bird, Hurricane, Heat Wave, Taunt, Trick, Defog, Toxic, Acid Armor, Roost
Less coverage is probably better. This form is meant to be more defensive, and Tinted Lens covers what it needs to on the other form. Defog and Taunt helps with the utility and anti-lead role, Acid Armor is in case it wants to become an even better physical wall and fits with its typing, and Trick is for potential Black Sludge strategies or punishing Knock Off and is an otherwise harmless move.

The aim with this stat spread was to create a classic slow, hard-hitting tank. What I like about this set is that it's low speed but high SpAtk means it can beat a lot of mons 1v1 that it doesn't necessarily counter, e.g. Tapu Koko and Heatran. To me this is part what separates a tank (which uses bulk+offense to threaten a wide pool of pokemon) from a wall (which focuses primarily on defensive countering opposing mons) . This stat spread also has a lot of versatility around which stats could be invested in:
 • Special bulk investment would make it easier to pick up Stamina Boosts and probably do the most for overall longevity.
 • Physical bulk investment would create a more focused stop to physical attackers while maximising Body Press damage.
 • Speed investment would improve the matchup against certain defensive mons.
 • Special attack investment would make 30b harder to switch into and overall quite threatening offensively.
For physical tankiness I wanted a good Defense stat for Body Press. At the same time, I wanted to avoid going overboard with physical bulk, as naturally high physical bulk would make Stamina kinda redundant (beyond increasing Body Press damage). With a single Stamina boost and some investment, 98 Def allows 30b to 2HKO common special walls such as Heatran, Blissey, and SpDef Ferrothorn with Body Press (this synergises nicely with the 130 Spa). At the same time, even a fully PhysDef invested set is 2HKOd by Urshifu-R, meaning there is always some counterplay on the physical side. It would also just feel wrong to have a physical attacker with a signature auto-crits move be unable to break through a pokemon that is designed around racking up Defense boosts.

Very good special tankiness allows 30b to pick up Stamina boosts from common neutral attacks. This also avoids the situation where opponents simply bypasses 30b's physical bulk by always using special attackers (which again makes Stamina somewhat redundant). With full investment, 113 SpDef allows 30b to live two Shadow Balls from Modest Dragapult even if the first triggers a drop. Even at full SpDef however, this stat spread means 30b is always 2HKOd by common super-effective special attacks such as Tapu Koko's Thunderbolt. This is the right balance for special bulk in my opinion, able to pick up Stamina boosts from strong neutral attacks while losing to super-effective attacks.

I wanted a low speed stat because with Stamina+reliable recovery, 30b is very effective at countering physical attackers that it outspeeds. Against slower physical attackers, 30b can literally switch into any attack that does less than 90%, get off a fast roost, live the second hit thanks to the Stamina boost, and get a second boost at which point it is healing more damage than it takes. This is a simplified scenario, but it illustrates that adding speed to 30b effectively boosts it's physical bulk too. A lower speed balances out the fact that 30b already has a decent Def stat (primarily for Body Press) and a good physically defensive typing. With 55 Speed, 30b is outsped by the majority of offensive mons, while still being able to speed creep some defensive mons (including slow Heatran and Landorus sets) if that's desired.

A strong SpAtk lets 30b threaten a lot of pokemon with Sludge Bomb and Hurricane. This set OHKOs Urshifu-R and Syclant. With minimal SpAtk investment 30b is also guaranteed an OHKO against Tapu Koko, while substantial investment and a Modest nature allows 30b to even OHKO Tapu Lele. Against more defensive mons: 30b can 2HKO utility Clef, Calm Mind Tapu Fini, and Arghonaut all without any SpATk investment. That said, 30b is still solidly countered by both Slowkings, as well as SpDef Scizor and SpDef Corviknight (assuming 30b hasn't picked up too many Stamina boosts).

Defining Moves: Hurricane, Sludge Bomb, Body Press, Roost

Optional Defining Moves: Body Press, Taunt, Hurricane, Roost, Ice Beam, Fire Blast, Coil

- Uninvested Ice Beam does 46.9% max to Max HP/ uninvested Tornadus-T
- Uninvested Fire Blast OHKOs Cawmodore after rocks
- Defense is low enough to prevent Body Press from 2HKOing Heatran, but high enough to OHKO Specially Defensive TTar after Stamina and hazards.
-Coil Mixed Attacker: Coil should be fine as a Bulk-Up clone so long as we keep 30i somewhat slow and weaker on physical defense. With these base stats, Coil becomes useful for its defense and accuracy boosts.

Speed was meant to offer the potential to outpace Tornadus-T and Syclant at max investment without outspeeding Weavile. Uninvested, 30b outspeeds Heatran. This spread gives 30b a wide range of viable spreads to utilise, depending on what a team needs to check. A higher speed will Given the power of Tinted Lens on 30i, lots of people have been hesitant about giving CAP30 any real offensive boosting moves. I should note that this assumption was a strong factor for this spread.

-Special defence is specifically meant to be an Achilles Heel for this fast tank.
-Can take an unboosted Triple Axel from Weavile once
-Slowbro's Future Sight OHKOs max invested 30b after Rocks, Galarking OHKOs a third of the time.
-Pivot Tornadus does 40% max with Hurricane to max invested 30b
-High HP optimises Stamina as an ability without making boosted Body Press extremely strong
-Stamina punishes multi-hit, incentivising the use of mixed/specially offensive Ice-types.
-HP will be a useful quality for 30i. Forme changes maintain HP as a constant (Gigantamax excepted) stat shared between the species.
-Full defensive spread can take Double Iron Bash from Banded Melmetal.

And thus we've reached the point of the preliminary slate. I am very happy with the discussion that has happened and the stats submitted. Out of the options I was presented with, I believe these all have different strengths that 30b can showcase This thread will remain open for another 24 hours so that I can gage the community's thoughts. But without further ado, here's the slate for now.

dex: 85 HP / 65 Atk / 102 Def / 98 SpA / 102 SpD / 98 Spe / 550 BST
Dex posted a nice balanced spread defensively with decent SpA but can use stamina as a way to break through heatran, with enough Speed to outspeed Heatran uninvested and 2HKO with +1 0 Def Body press after rocks while dodging the 2HKO from Magma Storm when invested. This 30b also has the capability to defensively and offensively check Kartana and Urshifu through a combination of its typing and Flying-type STAB moves.

quziel: 85 HP / 48 Atk / 100 Def / 106 SpA / 78 SpD / 103 Spe / 520 BST
Quziel went for a faster Pokemon that utilizes its special attack to outspeed Urshifu/Garchomp but is still slower than krilowatt. more emphasis is put on the attacking aspect, but can still live through the likes of Zeraora's Plasma Fist and even 2HKO Heatran with Body Press, but not Kyurem; not even after Stealth Rocks. This spread accounts for a wide variety of defining moves.

snake_rattler: 85 HP / 65 ATK / 120 DEF / 100 SPA / 65 SPD / 120 SPE / 555 BST
Snake's spread is quite a fast one, aiming to mimick Kartana to a certain extent. With 120 Speed the likes of tornadus-t/koko/weavile remain sturdy answers but 30b remains bulky enough to take a few hits. More emphasis is placed on 30b's STAB options so Ice-type coverage wasn't accounted for, but Fire-type coverage in Heat Wave was considered as a way to deal with Cawmodore.

brambane: 68 HP / 100 Atk / 100 Def / 40 SpA / 125 SpD / 62 Spe / 495 BST
Brambane went down a unique route, opting to try and take advantage of Coil and our physical attack. This helps versus Calm Mind Clefable as well as Galarian Slowking, two Pokemon that would wall Special variants. Brambane's 30b into dipping in both defensive stats to make up for the rather middling speed, which still remains enough to outspeed standard Heatran and/or clef and Tyranitar. The spread allows 30b to live the combination of Knock Off into Plasma Fist from Zeraora and 2HKO Kartana with Body Press at +1. Ice type coverage wasn't included, in an effort to keep Landorus-T as a hard check.

Da Pizza Man: 85 HP / 70 Atk / 113 Def / 118 SpA / 90 SpD / 64 Spe / 540 BST
Da Pizza Man wanted to make a 30b that can either dip fully into the roll of a sturdy tank or opt into using its Special Attack to pose some level of threat. Emphasis is again placed on Defense, but enough Special Defense is there to never be 2HKOed by Modest LO Jumbao's Moonblast. 113 base Defense lets us 2HKO Heatran and SubRoost with Body Press at +1 even uninvested, while keeping the threat of offensive Kyurem present by being OHKOed by Ice Beam. The Speed lets us underspeed Hippowdown and plays into running Roost.

viol and bass: 84 HP / 76 Atk / 104 Def / 117 SpA / 106 SpD / 48 Spe / 535 BST
Viol and bass has taken the approach of tank back to its roots, opting for a rather bulky and slow 30b. Filling the role of tank, this approach at 30b tries to run SpD and leave its defense untouched and boost it slowly but surely through stamina boosts. with a lot of optional moves slated, 30b will have the tools to check special attackers but can never fulfill every role.

scizivire: 92 HP / 76 Atk / 112 Def / 101 SpA / 66 SpD / 88 Spe / 535
Scizivire's spread goes the hardest on physical bulk, with a PT of 118. The aim here is to switch into predicted U-turns and thus be able to avoid 2HKOs from the likes of Zeraora while recovering the damage off with roost/recover. A solid mid game pivot that can turn into a late game win condition, but easy to dispatch with a strong special attack.

I realize that as the submitter of the spread that I may come across as rather biased, but I feel my spread deserves to be on the slate. Firstly, the current slate has a sore lacking of spreads where Special Defense is prioritized over Defense. While more spreads obviously went for a higher Defense than Special Defense, my spread and a couple of others focused on shoring up our initial Special Defense in the base stats to leave room for Defense to be invested in; with the exception of Brambane's Coil spread, no slated spread has less physical bulk than around 85 HP/100 Defense, which I find to be slightly odd. Secondly, while three slated spreads have speeds under 70, and another three have at least 98 speed, only Scizivire's spread lies in between those two extremes, and that spread heavily leans into physical Defense. It would make more sense if at least one more spread with a middling but not extremely slow speed tier was slated. Lastly, while a more minor note, my spread is the only one of two that specifies Fire Blast as a defining move, which helps my spread further stand out from the crowd. If people wish to say that a lower Defense stat is not what was generally considered during limits, I would point to the inclusion of Brambane's spread on the preliminary slate; I would argue our attacking bias was a near-unanimous consensus, and yet they chose to go in a different direction than everyone else. If a spread like that can get considered for slate, I fail to see why mine should not. I don't know which spread, if any, should be removed over my spread; all of the spreads are unique and have their own pros and cons. Whatever spread we end up with, 30b seems to be in good shape from where I'm standing.

Edit: Didn’t notice Tommaniacal also had Fire Blast oops

I think the slated options are all solid choices but also want to echo Reviloja's statement and suggest that an additional option be slated that showcases a SpAtk and SpDef inclined build.

As a key option mentioned in the limits discussion it seems a shame not to include a SpAtk and SpDef build with lower Physical defense and average speed. There are quite a few examples of appropriate builds such as my own, Revi's, 1blulizard's and Tommaniacals that showcase this style, each with their own intricacies.

Great slate! I agree with what Reviloja and MrDollSteak are saying, there should be more spreads showcase strong SdDef, SpAtk, or both. In the initial stat limits discussion plenty of people raised the idea that 30b's starting bulk should lean Special, and I think that deserves to be reflected in the slate. Additionally, at least one spread with big SpAtk should be slated, given that hitting hard is a key aspect of the tank role.

I agree with everyone else that the slate seems a bit too phys-def heavy currently, especially when special bulk was a major discussion point during the stat limits stage. Building off of this, I also think it would be helpful to include one or two lower defense spreads. This was a method of balancing around Stamina that received ample discussion in previous stages, but isn't reflected at all in the slate (There's not a single slated spread that has less than 100 base defense)
