Cant Accept Challenges OR use random battle

Hey, i'm new to shoddy and when i challenge my friend, i get the rules window, load a team and hit accept, but no battle window shows up. So i go to the find tab, as people suggest, but when i search for a match on the standard ladder, i get a message that says "unable to read message from server, disconnecting" can someone help me?

Ahh, yes I was just about to make a thread for this because I'm having the same problems when this morning everything was working fine for me. I also can't watch any matches already being played either.

They're not fixing any bugs on shoddy. You'll have to wait till SB2. Or try uninstalling, then re-installing.

I tried uninstalling then re-installing but that didn't work work either. Any other suggestions? i emptied my java cashe and opened ports, disabled my firewall, the whole 9 yards, nothing worked.
