BSS in LTPL Discussion

BSS was added to Lower Tier Premier League this year which is really exciting for us as it's the first time we've been included in some kind of Smogon team tournament, and presents an interesting mix of BSS and Smogon players against each other.

The way this tournament works is the managers submit what formats they want to play in a week. If both managers pick BSS then there are two BSS slots, if one picks it then there's just one, and if neither do then BSS isn't played.

chemcoop is also managing the Meteorites with Tony.

1. The Pokemon is supposed to be the noun in the team name, not the adjective.
2. As you can see by the above post, they are already on week 2, so yes it is a little too late.
3. This tournament isn't part of this section, we don't really have any control over the names. (Except the one team chemcoop is managing, idk if he got to name it but even if so, see point #2)
4. It would have to be Pythons anyway because team names are always plural.

Thanks to everyone who played BSS in LTPL for bringing us some exciting games and representing the community for the first time on a Smogon-wide team tournament! I hope this is just the beginning for BSS x Smogon 6v6 events and that we continue our integration with the greater tournament community on the site.

at least I was able to pull this one off from my phone, on a boat, slightly inebriated... My situation was apparently better than 1tp’s that weekend lmao.

Next time there’s a team tour like this I vote we remove stall teams from the Bazaar. Or just the Bazaar entirely.
