Format:
  • 64 players, 8 teams (which we will call classes because it's B101), 8 players per class. Each class gets x amount of teachers who specialize in certain tiers who will be assigned to teach, ghost, practice against, do whatever it takes to get their team to win. Hopefully this will be a good experience for people who didn't get selected in a B101 round to work alongside a good battler and get some advice.
  • The 8 classes will be split into two divisions, which we will call schools. Each school has 4 classes, and they will all fight against the opposing school. Each class will fight a different class within the opposing school every week.
  • The classes will then be seeded based on record, and will all be put into an 8 man team tournament for the remainder of the tournament.
  • Tiers will rotate depending on what kinds of teachers are willing to participate. Every week should ideally be a new tier, but we'll see after we get a general idea of how many teachers per tier/metagame.
This week's tier is ORAS OU.

Teachers for this week:

Krokorok Institute of Capshooters - Tricking, Genesis7, Luigi.

Haunter Harvard Girls Boarding School - PokèManiac Livio, DennisEG

So we're down to the final two! The Slowbros have easily been the most consistent and dominant team, while in contrast the Roggenrollas have had an up-and-down season. They achieved an impressive result in the semis though, knocking out the second seeds, so they definitely have the ability to achieve another upset. Good luck guys, this should be a tough fight.

Pairings:

[#1] The Prom Night Slowbros (4) vs [#6] The Honor Roggenrollas (0)

epic job slowbros :D we shone right from the begining, and went through epic times that went as far as almost being eliminated at a week, but we made it ! i'd like to thank all our tutors for their efforts to carry support us, even when we werent in our comfort zone, and for the incredible dedication some have shown to us, and my "classmates" and "school mates" as well :P . i've met plenty of people through this experience, and a huge s/o to the b101 system for organizing this. perhaps this will make a good draft for a second season! thanks hope yall had fun

Congrats Slowbros! You've easily been the most dominant and consistent team throughout the whole tour and are very deserving winners. Huge props to the Roggenrollas as well for making it this far; you guys didn't have it easy in the early weeks but you pulled through in the playoffs with some impressive wins.

I'd just like to wrap this up by thanking all the tutees for participating and the tutors for their efforts, this project wouldn't have been possible without you guys! We realise that the tour dragged on for longer than it should've and that the students probably didn't get to spend as much time learning each tier as they would've liked, but we really do hope that each of you learned something from it and that it was a valuable experience in terms of meeting new people, learning from some top battlers, and competing in a team tour format :toast:

It's doubtful that we'll be running a big tour like this again considering how long-winded it was and the fact that many tutees were inactive and several dropped out after a few weeks. We still want to give people who missed the signups an opportunity to get involved though and will be spending time over the break in developing ideas for new projects and possibly revamping this tour on a smaller scale, so keep an eye out for these next year!
