Gen 3 Baton Pass chain

I started with a Zapdos @ Leftovers.

He knows Agility, Baton Pass, Thunderbolt and Drill Peck.
I always start with Agility and hope to survive, if survive I used Baton Pass. The other moves is just in case a type advantage to my Zapdos don't be so weak to moves as Taunt.

Then I switch to a Vaporeon @ Leftovers.

He knows Acid Armor, Baton Pass, Wish and Surf.
Vaporeon is very bulk and is a perfect switch as second pokémon, I spawn how many Acid Armor is safe (most to protect me of Explosions), some wishs if was needed and also it have Surf to don't be weak to Taunt.

Then I switch to a Celebi @ Leftovers.

He knows Calm Mind, Baton Pass, Recover and Psychic.
Also a very bulk pokémon and the most important in the chain, I always try to spawn four Calm Mind before switch and uses Recover everytime my life is under of 50%. He can survives Ice Beams and Flamethrowers easily and have the ability to cure it self of status when it change.

In the end of the Baton Pass chain it is Salamece @ Lum Berry.

He knows Dragon Claw, Crunch, Flamethrower and Hiden Power Water.
If I managed to achieve this chain untill Salamence, the battle is won. His EV is boosted in Speed and STAK. And since there is no fairy type in this generation, who can resist a Dragon Claw of 4x STAK due Calm Mind?

Other option to end this Baton Pass chain is Gengar @ Leftovers.

He knows Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunderbolt and Giga Drain.
He is quick and strong and is my second option to end the baton pass chain if something go wrong with Salamence. Also he is imune to Toxic and Explosion, two very annoying moves.

And for last I have a Breloom @ Leftovers.

He knows Spore, Focus Punch, Leech Seed and Giga Drain.
Since almost all my team is Special Atack, I need a strong physical pokémon to deal with Pokémon as Chansey or Snorlax.
Also Spore is the best move in the game and I have Breloom in almost all my teams.

This team isn't more avaiable in Metagame, due the Baton Pass clause, but I used this team too much before this clause and they live in my heart.
So, what do you think, it is a good team? What I can improve in they to be more powerfull?
This team is kind of weak as move as Roar/Whirlwind, making the Skarmory a true nightmare to me.

This team is kind of weak as move as Roar/Whirlwind, making the Skarmory a true nightmare to me.
Full baton pass chains were always very gimmicky and MU fishy. Most BP teams prior to Soundproof ban used Mr.Mine to block Roar from phazers.

Most BP teams prior to Soundproof ban used Mr.Mine to block Roar from phazers.
I discover about this Mr.Mime with Soundproof just after the ban and don't have the oportunity to use.
How would use that Mr.Mime? Maybe substitute, calm mind, baton pass and Psychic... The only downfall is the lacking of Recover. But I can substitue Celebi in my chain to Mr.Mime.

Other baned pokémon I would like to use is a Umbreon with Double Team + Batom Pass, it's a bulk pokémon who can recover it self with Wish or Moonlight.

Baton pass chain is baned of gen3, but I just discover this strategy is allowed in gen 4 Ubers. So I made a team inspired on that.
I lead my gen 4 ubers team with Darkrai @ Leftovers.

He knows Dark Pulse, Dark Void, Nasty plot and Spacial Rend.
I start with him to broke the adversary a bit before start my Baton Pass chain. I almost ever start with Dark Void to put the foe to sleep and then go for one Nasty Plot to be stronger. Dark Pulse is a stab move who can flinch and Spacial Rend because there is a lot of Dragon pokémons in this tier.

When Darkrai fainted I start my strategy with the same Zapdos, Vaporeon and Celebi of my gen3 team(with the same moveset and itens)

Zapdos goes for Agility and Baton Pass to vaporeon, Vaporeon use Acid Armor and Baton Pass to Celebi, who knows Calm mind, Recover and Baton Pass..

To end this Baton Pass chain in gen4 I choice Latias @ Soul Dew.

She knows Dragon Pulse, Energy Ball, Psychic and Thunderbolt.
I'm wonder if I should teach Calm Mind and Recover to Latias, but instead I made a choice very ofensive moveset to just arrive in battle and sweep everyone, but that just works if the Baton Pass chain works.

And as a second option to end this Baton Pass chain there is Lucario @ Life Orb.

He knows Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse, Flash Canon and Shadow Ball.
As Latias he just come in the end of Baton Pass chain to sweep everyone, I equiped a Life Orb to him be even more strong.

Now some battles to see how this team works.

Make a new thread for this.

Make a new thread for this.
I would like to post all my teams in threads in this part of forum, but there is a rule who forbiden I to post multiple times, I need to wait 2 weeks to post a new thread, I guess next time I can post a new thread with a team is day 15 September.
Also, both teams are very correlated, they share 3 pokémon and the main strategy.
By the way, if you have any suggestion of these teams I will apreciate.

Also, I joined a Brazilian championship recently with some weird rules: No itens, Pokémon around lv 60, and some pokémon as Darkrai, Celebi and Latias are banned. Make me need to change my team again. But is a gen4Uber championship, so I can sticky with my Baton Pass chain main strategy.
I change my lead Darkrai for Ambipom.

He knows Fake Out, U-Turn, Return and Thunder Wave.
His main strategy is start with Fake Out, obvious, and go for a U-Turn to Zapdos (to start the baton pass chain). But I also teach Return to have a good stab move and also Thunder Wave to give some status to the enemy, I'm wonder if Toxic should be better.

I change my Calm Minder Baton Passer of Celebi to Mr Mime.

He knows Baton Pass, Calm Mind, Rest and Sleep Talk.
That Mr Mime have the Soundproof ability, to be imune to roar. But I still think Celebi was better because it is imune to Leech Seed.
Also this Mr Mime don't have any atk move, what make him very weak to taunt.

And I change the botom of the Baton Pass chain, Latias, for one Gengar.

He knows Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Psychic and Thunderbolt
With the EVs boosted in Speed and SATK the plan with this Gengar is just come in the end of Baton Pass Chain and sweep everyone.

The Zapdos, Vaporeon and Lucario stay the same.

Now some replay of I'm winning with this team:

Could you please include a pokepaste of this? This version is very Kyogre weak. Add a bulky water resist.

I change again the team, I take out Ambipom and replace it for Forretress with Toxic, Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock and Explosion.
I made this change because Ambipom's U-Turn put my Zapdos in a desavantegeous position in the battle. I think it should be better if Zapdos arrive after Forretress's explosion. But I don't battle yet with lead Forretress so I don't have a replay to share.

Other options to lead my team can be Ninjask, to have an extra speed baton passer or Breloom, to put the enemy to sleep with Spores. I can't decide who is better.

Kyogre is also banned in this tournament, and I already have a bulky water pokémon, it is Vaporeon.

Edit:
Some losts with lead Forretress.

If all the defining mons of DPP Ubers are banned, why did you say it was a Gen 4 Ubers tournament? Could you please show me this tour's whole banlist? I can't give reasonable advice otherwise.

Could you please show me this tour's whole banlist?
It's banned all legendary pokémon except for the legendary trio of each region.

So it's banned Mew, Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho Oh, Celebi, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groundon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Darkrai, Heatran, Regigigas, Cresselia, Phione, Manaphy, Shaymin and Arceus.

why did you say it was a Gen 4 Ubers tournament?
I also don't know why this tournament is in Gen4Ubers, but it is. And I'm happy with that because just in ubers I can use a baton pass chain.

You should've said that to begin with. If that's the case, I'm not sure that non-Showdown format are even allowed on this section.

I would like to share now how it is my Baton Pass chain in this championship.

First I lead with Breloom.

He knows Spore, Focus Punch, Leech seed and Seed bomb.
I always start with spores, even against fire pokemons. I don't have a great switch against fire pokemon so I prefer sacrifice my Breloom.
After the Spore, I go for Focus Punch, if I predict a Ghost pokémon I go or with Leech Seed or with Seed Bomb.

Then I go for a Forretress.

He knows Explosion, Toxic spikes, Stealthy Rock and Rapid spin.
Since this baton pass chain is shorter, it gave me a extra spot to put a hazard pokemon. He go for Stealthy Rock or 2 toxic spikes and the Explosion, is his job done.

Then finally starts the Baton pass chain with Gorebyss.

She knows Agility, Baton Pass, Amnesia and Iron Defense.
Her Evs is all in Speed, to outspeed everyone after one Agility, The other half I share between Sdef and Def.
The only problem of this Gorebyss is don't have a recovery move, so most of times I just give one Agility and Baton Pass. But if I'm feel confident I go for some Amnesia or Iron Defense.

The second pokémon in the Baton Pass chain is Mr. Mime.

He knows Nasty Plot, Baton Pass, Rest, Sleep Talk.
The famous Mr.Mime with Soundproof lead my Baton Pass chain, but actually almost never I used this ability since it still weak to Whirlwind of Skarmory.
Basically with Mr Mime I do a Nasty Plot, or more if I can, maybe a Rest to recover and then Baton Pass.

To finish the Baton Pass chain I have Gengar.

He knows Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Psychic and Thunderbolt.
He is already very quick and strong in special atk, if he receive the Agility of Gorebyss and the Nasty Plot of Mr Mime he will be unstopable. I just put 4 diferent attacks in him to I hit the maximun of pokémon possible.

Another option to end this Baton Pass chain is Lucario.

He knows Aurea Sphere, Dragon Pulse, Psychic Shadow Ball.
AS Gengar, it is a very powerfull pokémon to receive the boosts and can sweep the enemy away.

It's highly likely that no one reading this has played this championship. You probably won't get advice for it here, since it's so obscure.
