Toxapex leverages its high defensive stats and plethora of useful utility moves to act as a stout defensive wall and disruptor. Prankster + Haze lets Toxapex shut down threatening setup sweepers such as Dragonite, Volcarona, and Stored Power Iron Crown. Corrosion + Toxic gives Toxapex the ability to punish Steel-types such as Corviknight, Gholdengo, and Desolate Land Heatran, which can otherwise shrug off Toxapex's attacks, while Toxic Spikes can pressure more offensively oriented teams. Chilling Water deters physical attackers such as Zamazenta and Great Tusk from switching into Toxapex, while Infestation can rack up chip damage on foes such as Corviknight and Empoleon. Black Sludge give Toxapex greater longevity, while Rocky Helmet punishes physical attackers such as Chien-Pao and Barraskewda, as well as general U-turn spam. Eject Button is a niche option that lets Toxapex pivot in teammates safely and check Poltergeist Ceruledge after activation. Toxapex fits best on stall teams due to its passivity and ability to check setup sweepers that could potentially run rampant. Certain wallbreakers such as Iron Boulder, Garchomp, and Iron Hands are able to power through Toxapex, so teammates that can check these such as Great Tusk and Corviknight are greatly appreciated; Toxapex can in return take on Chien-Pao and Fire-types such as Cinderace and Ogerpon-H. Toxapex is horrified by Electric- and Psychic-types such as Zapdos, Deoxys-S, and Azelf, so teammates that can reliably take these on such as Hisuian Goodra, Mandibuzz, and Meloetta are helpful.

Toxapex leverages its high defensive stats combined with its plethora of useful utility moves to act as a stout defensive wall and disruptor. Prankster combined with Haze lets Toxapex shut down threatening setup sweepers such as Dragonite, Zamazenta, and offensive Great Tusk. not great examples, dnite outspeeds prankster, zama loses even without prankster, and pex doesnt rly want to eat headlong rushes. Other examples are cm stored power, sd pao and fires Toxic in conjunction with Corrosion lets Toxapex punish Steel-types such as Corviknight, Gholdengo, and Desolate Land Heatran who can otherwise shrug off Toxapex's attacks, while Toxic Spikes can pressure more offensively-oriented teams. Black Sludge give Toxapex greater longevity, while Rocky Helmet punishes physical attackers such as Roaring Moon Chien-Pao and Barraskewda, moon knocks/eqs, helmet lets prank pex beat pao cuz otherwise it can spam crunch as well as general U-turn spam. Certain wallbreakers such as Iron Boulder, Garchomp, and Iron Hands are able to power through Toxapex, so teammates that can check these such as Great Tusk and Corviknight are greatly appreciated; Toxapex can in return take on Chien-Pao and Fire-types such as Cinderace and Ogerpon-H. you could mention how pex is almost exclusive to stall cuz its passive as hell and lets moth in for free without corrosion
also prank toxic can emergency check stuff

Stamping off Glalie's AMQC as QC 1/2. As an extra note, Eject Button is also a potential item worth using as well for Ceruledge + weaker Knocks and gaining momentum.
