[OVERVIEW]
Azumarill graces BDSP OU as either a terrifying, hard-to-scout Belly Drum sweeper or a strong wallbreaker with Choice Band. Huge Power, STAB priority in Aqua Jet, and a rarely-resisted STAB combination back up its offense, while its Water / Fairy typing helps it switch into prominent Dragon-types and some offensive threats. Azumarill is generally a strong option for hyper offense and standard offense teams, since Aqua Jet is handy in the priority-heavy BDSP OU metagame, and it switches into offensive foes such as Feraligatr, Weavile, and Infernape to quickly wreak havoc. However, it needs support to stay healthy %mdash;especially if using Belly Drum— and to handle certain threats. Its low Speed leaves it vulnerable defensively despite its decent bulk and Aqua Jet, and it needs help to pressure the common Breloom and Rotom-Wash, which massively threaten it in return. Azumarill's main set, Belly Drum + Sitrus Berry, also struggles to beat Unaware Clefable, a common defensive glue Pokemon that it can't 2HKO. Still, Azumarill usually only needs one window of opportunity to either sweep or put a dent in the opposition.

[SET]
name: Belly Drum
move 1: Belly Drum
move 2: Aqua Jet
move 3: Play Rough
move 4: Waterfall
item: Sitrus Berry / Mystic Water
ability: Huge Power
nature: Adamant
evs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
This set is designed for Azumarill to clean up late-game or heavily cripple the opposition. Once set-up Aqua Jet is its go-to move for most situations thanks to its priority. Sitrus Berry helps Azumarill beat priority revenge killers and take a hit while setting up. Mystic Water is an alternative to strengthen Aqua Jet and give a small chance to 2HKO Unaware Clefable with Waterfall. Azumarill can set up against a Latias Choiced locked into Draco Meteor or Surf, or on a Garchomp locked into Outrage. After setting up, Azumarill does need to worry about phazers like full-health Skarmory and maximally physically defensive Empoleon, but it can blow past chipped Skarmory and other Empoleon sets.

Azumarill works best on hyper offense teams, where it can immediately threaten a sweep after a turn of setup. This set does get checked by Unaware Clefable, which is a common blanket check for the numerous setup sweepers in the tier, so a teammate like Lucario that can deal with it is great. Azumarill will need teammates that can handle Shaymin and Breloom, since both can take an Aqua Jet at +6 and threaten it with an OHKO. The most important tip with using this set is to, before sweeping, use teammates to wear down or take out Pokemon that avoid the OHKO from +6 Aqua Jet. For example, Choice Scarf users such as Infernape can wear down Starmie, and Latias with U-Turn. Scizor's U-Turn threatens to OHKO those threats and can get Azumarill into the game safely without losing momentum. Alakazam and Weavile both threaten Starmie, and Latias with their superior Speed. Garchomp is another great teammate for Azumarill to provide Stealth Rock and also deal with Magnezone, which outspeeds Azumarill and threatens it before Belly Drum. Azelf, and suicide lead Skarmory support Azumarill and its hyper offense teammates with dual screens and entry hazards. Focus Sash Alakazam, Breloom, and Dragonite are notable late-game cleaners that appreciate Azumarill's wallbreaking ability, which makes their roles easier.

[SET]
name: Choice Band
move 1: Waterfall
move 2: Play Rough
move 3: Aqua Jet
move 4: Superpower
item: Choice Band
ability: Huge Power
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Band makes Azumarill a potent immediate wallbreaker with very few switch-ins, which forces frightening predictions. Even Slowbro has a modest chance to get 2HKOed by Play Rough after Stealth Rock. The most notable difference from Belly Drum Azumarill is that this set beats the premier Unaware users of the tier: Clefable and Quagsire. Choice Band Azumarill's fourth move of choice is Superpower, which can take out Steel-types such as Empoleon, Lucario, and Magnezone on the switch.

Choice Band Azumarill struggles against bulky Grass-types. Weavile can handle Shaymin and Tangrowth alongside Starmie, and Latias. Infernape can pivot Azumaril in with U-Turn alongside beating the Grass-types of the tier. Garchomp switches into Volt Switch and Electric-type moves in general, along with providing Stealth Rock for offense teams. Scizor pivots Azumarill in and tends to invite in Heatran and Infernape, which Azumarill performs well against. Rotom-W and Gliscor are notable defensive pivots that Azumarill works well with thanks to their Will-O-Wisp support and Electric immunity, respectively. Focus Sash Alakazam appreciates Choice Band Azumarill bulldozing the opposition and weakening its checks so it can clean up.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=================
Belly Drum Azumarill can run an alternative EV spread of 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe with an Adamant nature. This spread improves its bulk while still outspeeding defensive Skarmory. Facade is a niche alternative to Superpower for Choice Band Azumarill that allows it to still be functional if it is burned.

Checks and Counters
==================
**Grass-types**: Defensive Tangrowth can switch into Choice Band Azumarill, but it has to scout Azumarill's set, since Belly Drum lets Play Rough OHKO it. Breloom falls to Play Rough but resists Aqua Jet and outspeeds Azumarill, letting it revenge kill Azumarill with Seed Bomb or Bullet Seed. It can also use Spore and then set up. Shaymin forces Azumarill out with Seed Flare and can stomach +6 Aqua Jet; however, it cannot switch into Choice Band Play Rough unless it has Defense investment.

**Rotom-W**: Rotom-W can cripple Azumarill with Will-O-Wisp, resists Aqua Jet, and easily threatens massive damage with Volt Switch or Thunderbolt. While Rotom-W doesn't like to take a Play Rough on the switch, Azumarill can only outspeed even uninvested Rotom-W with a suboptimal Jolly nature.

**Bulky Water-type Pokemon**: Quagsire with Unaware can avoid 2HKOs from Belly Drum Azumarill and stall it out with Toxic barring Waterfall flinches, but it does struggle against the Choice Band set, which cleanly 2HKOes it. Empoleon can phaze Belly Drum Azumarill one time, but it fares much better against the Choice Band set, as it can take all its attacks besides Superpower. Milotic naturally outspeeds Azumarill and wipes out its Belly Drum boost with Haze. Milotic struggles against the Choice Band set, though, since Play Rough 2HKOes unless Marvel Scale is active. Azumarill, regardless of the set, fears a Scald burn when facing bulky Water-types in general.

**Revenge Killers**: Most offensive threats can damage Belly Drum Azumarill enough that it either can't set up or enters KO range for most priority moves. Azumarill's most notable revenge killers are Latias, and Starmie, which can safely take a +6 Aqua Jet, even with chip damage, and OHKO Azumarill. Focus Sash Alakazam can also check Azumarill in a pinch, being able to deal with the Choice Band set with two Psychic hits, provided Azumarill isn't locked into Aqua Jet.

**Faster Priority**: Lucario, Dragonite, and offensive Scizor can pick off weakened Azumarill with priority before it can use Aqua Jet. Choice Band Dragonite can even take a Play Rough from Choice Band Azumarill, 2HKOing in return with Extreme Speed.

In the overview, I would mention that its main set (drum) struggles to get past Clefable and is vulnerable to the very common Breloom and Latios.

You need to have an Other Options section. In Other Options, I would mention this spread: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe Adamant for the Belly Drum set. This allows for a bit more bulk while still outspeeding Skarmory.

Don't ever start a paragraph with however

EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 Def
this should be 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe, otherwise your Sitrus Berry does not activate and you are incredibly sad

However this set does get checked by Unaware Clefable who is a common blanket check for the numerous setup sweepers in the tier, so a teammate like Lucario who can deal with Clefable is great.
I'd really like a sentence here first saying that Belly Drum Azu is best used on HO teams that can set it up to sweep the opposing team.

It is Choice Scarf users

change every mention of this to "Latias and Latios"

Garchomp is another great teammate for Azumarill who can provide rocks support and also deal with Magnezone who outspeeds Azumarill and threatens it heavily unless Azumarill is at +6.
Perhaps the best teammate for BD Azu is dual screens Azelf, which absolutely deserves its own mention. screens ease BD a lot, making azu a much safer play. I'd like to see Breloom, Dragonite, and Focus Sash Alakazam mentioned here as well as offensive teammates that appreciate Azu bulldozing through walls. Mention lead Skarmory as a means of getting rocks up early.

EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 Def
Should be 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe in that order

Iron Tail/Facade
Honestly remove these two. Superpower far outclasses them, and the main reason you run band is to, as you said before, 2HKO Clef and Quag with Waterfall and Play Rough.

Due to the nature of the choice band set, Azumarill does invite in revenge killers such as Starmie, Magnezone and Choice Specs Latios who can KO it with thunderbolt so it will need to switch out often.
Nix this sentence

However, the main threats Azumarill players will need to ensure they have other teammates that can handle is Tangrowth and Shaymin with Tangrowth being able to come in and out on it constantly due to regenerator and Shaymin resisting aqua jet along with it always threatening a KO.
Just say it struggles with bulky grass-types for these reasons, not whatever mess this sentence is.

Lati Twins
Never! :(

Scizor synergizes with Azumarill as they both cover each other's weaknesses with Azumarill covering Scizor's Infernape and Heatran matchups (barring the rare Solar Beam Power Herb Heatran) while Scizor helps against Starmie, Shaymin, and the Lati twins.
Scizor does not help against offensive Starmie, which is the one that threatens Azu to begin with, so take that off. Azu also doesn't "cover" the tran and ape matchups insomuch as Scizor pivots Azu into them, which is an important distinction.

I need to see more teammates on the band set as well, namely Rotom-W for pivoting and wisp support, Gliscor for pivoting support and switching into Electrics, Heatran for dealing Grass-types, and Alakazam, which appreciates the holes Azu punches in opposing walls.

never say mons, it is always Pokemon

*Bulky Waters/Water Resists**: Other water-resists in the tier such as the Eon Twins, Starmie, and Empoleon all comfortably resist Aqua Jet from Azumarill and stop it short in its track either through Thunderbolt or Roar in Empoleon's case. Starmie and the Lati twins can survive a +6 Aqua Jet to KO it but they can not come in safely since they fear Play Rough on the switch. Empoleon resists both of Azumarill's STAB combinations but can not take Superpower from Choice Band Azumarill nor a +6 Play Rough from Belly Drum Azumarill. Milotic is another notable counter to Azumarill that can Haze Azumarill's Belly Drum boost and tanks Choice-Band Azumarill if Marvel Scale is active and threatens to cripple it with Scald burns.
Change this section to just Bulky Water-types and just mention Quagsire, Empoleon, and Milotic. Merge Latios, and Starmie into the new Revenge Killers section that I describe below

**Faster Offensive Threats**:
Change this to Revenge Killers, mention Latios and Starmie specifically for resisting Jet as well as Alakazam for running Focus Sash.

There are a ton of GP errors and general formatting errors that need to be cleaned up. Look at an analysis written by Adem or I to see what I mean. Obviously, I don't expect you to be perfect, but making a better effort than this would be nice. Implement this, and then I will recheck it.

bypass its low speed and
no need to describe what priority is, just delete this bit in the overview

[OTHER OPTIONS]
Belly Drum Azumarill can run an alternative spread of 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe with Adamant Nature. This spread allows it to improve its natural bulk while still being faster than defensive Skarmory. Iron Tail is a niche option that can be used over Waterfall on Azumarill's Belly Drum set for a better matchup against Unaware Clefable since Iron Tail will 2HKO. This option is held back by its base 75 accuracy which can make it inconsistent at times and makes it more reliant on being at +6 to kill Gliscor and Heatran.

Honestly, Iron Tail is not worth. 2HKOing Clefable 56% of the time is not worth losing the power of Waterfall vs. mons like Jirachi. Delete this.

Offensive Shaymin does not like switching into banded play rough but can come in on Belly Drum Azumarill. Shaymin's Sub-Leech set however can come in safely thanks to HP and defensive investment and forces Azumarill out.
Make this one sentence, something like "Shaymin forces Azumarill out with Seed Flare and can stomach +6 Aqua Jet; however, it cannot switch into Choice Band Play Rough unless it has Defense investment."

[OVERVIEW]
Azumarill graces BDSP OU with its capabilities of either being a strong wallbreaker with Choice Band or a terrifying Belly Drum sweeper who can cleave through many teams with 1 turn of setup and a boosted Aqua Jet. (you can probably reword this as a positive, saying that it's hard to scout) Its Water/Fairy typing is also a useful typing that allows it to switch into some of the prominent dragons in the tier and Huge Power makes it pack some of the highest attack stats anyone could ask for alongside STAB priority and the Water/Fairy STAB combination of Play Rough and Waterfall not having many resists in the tier. Azumarill is generally a strong option for hyper offense and standard offensive teams since it has STAB Aqua Jet which is handy in a priority-heavy metagame to take out faster, weakened Pokemon that may outspeed it normally and its typing allows it to come in on some offensive Pokemon that are notable threats such as Feraligatr, Weavile or Infernape to start wreaking havoc. However, it is a Pokemon that does need proper support to be at its best since it is rather slow and one can not simply slap it onto any team since it wants to remain relatively healthy although it does have respectable bulk that can give it some chances of coming in safely. Azumarill notably needs help dealing with the common Breloom and Latios who pose a massive threat to Azumarill. Azumarill's main set, Belly Drum, struggles to beat Unaware Clefable who avoids 2HKO range and is a common defensive glue that holds teams together. It usually only needs one window of opportunity to get onto the field and either sweep or put a dent into the opposition depending on which set it runs. (this is worded weirdly, going from a negative to a positive without a change in wording)

[SET]
Name: Belly Drum
move 1: Belly Drum
move 2: Aqua Jet
move 3: Play Rough
move 4: Waterfall (reordered for importance, jet is the main move after drum)
Item: Sitrus Berry / Mystic Water
Ability: Huge Power
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe (use the proper formatting!!!!!!)

[SET COMMENTS]
This set is designed for Azumarill to clean up in the late game or at the very least heavily cripple the opposition. Waterfall and Play Rough is the standard STAB combination for Azumarill, while Aqua Jet is its main go-to move for most situations thanks to its priority. Sitrus Berry allows Azumarill to not be easily picked off by priority moves like Extreme Speed and also to take a hit while setting up. (mention Mystic Water to do more to Clef since it risks a potential 2HKO, and it boosts Jet's damage too) It can generally get itself to set up against a choice-locked Latios that is locked into Draco Meteor or Surf or get free revenge kill on a Garchomp locked into Outrage thanks to its fairy typing granting immunity against dragon-type moves. It should be noted that a 252HP/252 Atk/4 Spe spread can also work for Azumarill if it doesn’t want to get taken out of Belly Drum range as easily as it is not exactly a speed demon by any means and it is most likely clicking Aqua Jet a majority of the time when it gets Belly Drum off with the 4 speed EVs outspeeding Defensive Tangrowth. (id move it to OO, since ironically the OO spread already present is better, but 252 HP is generally not really advised AT ALL) At +6, Azumarill does need to watch out for phasers such as Skarmory or Empoleon who force Azumarill to switch out and lose its Belly Drum boost, in Skarmory's case it needs to not be at full health to ensure sturdy does not activate. Empoleon however gets KO'ed by a +6 Play Rough from Azumarill barring full defensive investment and a +Defensive nature.

Azumarill works best on hyper offense teams where it can set up and threaten a sweep against the opposing team at any time with one turn of setup. This set does get checked by Unaware Clefable who is a common blanket check for the numerous setup sweepers in the tier, so a teammate like Lucario who can deal with Clefable is great. Azumarill will need teammates who can handle Shaymin (and Breloom) since Shaymin can stop its sweep with seed flare and can take 1 Aqua Jet at +6. The important factor when it comes to using this set to sweep is that it usually needs Pokemon that resist its Aqua Jet to be worn down or taken out before it can attempt a clean sweep, notable checks that Azumarill wants help against is Starmie who has Thunderbolt and the Eon Twins who can survive a +6 Aqua Jet even after rocks. Choice Scarf users such as Infernape can help Azumarill with U-Turn in wearing down Latios, Latias, and Starmie. Scizor straight-up threatens a kill with U-Turn on those aforementioned threats and can get Azumarill into the game safely without losing momentum. Alakazam and Weavile both outright threaten Starmie, Latios, and Latias with their superior speed. Garchomp is another great teammate for Azumarill who can provide rocks support and also deal with Magnezone who outspeeds Azumarill and threatens it heavily unless Azumarill is at +6. Screens Azelf and Suicide Lead Skarmory are both great teammates for Azumarill. Azelf sets up Dual Screens and makes it easier for Azumarill to come in along with improving its longevity while Lead Skarmory can lay down hazards that can weaken foes over the course of a match which makes it easier for Azumarill to complete its sweep. Focus Sash Alakazam, Breloom, and Dragonite are notable late-game cleaners who appreciate Azumarill's ability to punch holes into the opposing team's defenses, making their ability to sweep or clean up in the late game easier to pull off.

[SET]
Name: Choice Band

Move 2: Play Rough
Move 3: Aqua Jet
Move 4: Superpower
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Azumarill becomes a potent wallbreaker that has very few switch-ins in the tier that can handle it. The most notable difference from its Belly Drum set is that it beats the premier unaware users of the tier: Clefable and Quagsire who can check its belly drum set instead get 2HKO by Choice Band. Its immediate power forces opponents to have to predict and even Slowbro has a modest chance to get 2HKO with rocks on the field by Play Rough. Choice Band Azumarill's 4th move of choice is Superpower which can take out Steel-Types such as Empoleon, Lucario, and Magnezone on the switch.

Choice Band Azumarill struggles against Bulky Grass-Types. Teammates that Azumarill would appreciate include Weavile, Infernape, Scizor and Garchomp. Weavile can handle Starmie, Latios, Latias, Shaymin, and Tangrowth. Infernape can serve as a U-Turn pivot to get Azumarill on the field alongside beating the grass types of the tier. Garchomp works as a switch-in against volt switch and electric moves in general along with being able to provide rocks support on offensive teams on top of inviting in Latios, and Latias who typically beat Garchomp. Scizor synergizes with Azumarill as a pivoter since Scizor tends to bring in Heatran and Infernape which are matchups Azumarill performs well against. Rotom-Wash and Gliscor are notable defensive pivots that Azumarill works well with thanks to Will-o-wisp support and Electric Immunity respectively. Focus Sash Alakazam appreciates Choice Band Azumarill's ability to bulldoze the opposition since Focus Sash Alakazam needs the opposition to be weakened in order for it to be able to clean up.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
================= (the formatting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Belly Drum Azumarill can run an alternative spread of 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe with Adamant Nature. This spread allows it to improve its natural bulk while still being faster than defensive Skarmory. (facade as an OO for Band could be nice, but thats it, I agree with Dex that Iron Tail is completely useless)

Checks and Counters
==================

**Grass-types**: Breloom, Tangrowth, and Shaymin are Pokemon that Azumarill needs to account for. Defensive Tangrowth can switch into Choice Band, however, it can not handle Belly Drum Azumarill since a +6 boosted play rough KOs Tangrowth so it has to scout out the set. Breloom also does not like switching into play rough but if it gets in, Azumarill gets outsped and will get KO'ed by seed bomb or bullet seed since Breloom resists aqua jet or gets put to sleep and allows Breloom to setup. Shaymin forces Azumarill out with Seed Flare and can stomach +6 Aqua Jet; however, it cannot switch into Choice Band Play Rough unless it has Defense investment.

**Rotom-Wash**: Rotom-Wash can cripple Azumarill with Will-o-Wisp and also resists Aqua Jet easily. While it doesn’t like taking Play Rough on the switch, Azumarill has to fear getting damaged heavily by Thunderbolt or Volt Switch since Rotom-Wash outspeeds it with zero Speed EVS against Adamant nature Azumarill.

**Bulky Water-types**: Quagsire, Empoleon, and Milotic are notable water-types who all can slow down Azumarill in some capacity. Quagsire with Unaware can stay out of 2HKO range from Belly Drum Azumarill and stall it out with Toxic barring Waterfall flinches, however it does struggle against the Choice Band set which cleanly 2HKOs it. Empoleon can act as a one-time check against Belly Drum Azumarill by using Roar to wipe out its Belly Drum Boost, Empoleon fares much better against the Choice Band set as it can take hits from Azumarill's attacks besides Superpower. Milotic naturally outspeeds Azumarill and can use Haze to take away the +6 boost Belly Drum provides. Milotic struggles against the Choice Band set since Play Rough 2HKOs unless Marvel Scale is active. Azumarill, regardless of set, does have to fear a Scald burn when facing Bulky Water-types in general.

**Revenge Killers**: Generally, revenge killers can either threaten to kill Azumarill or cripple it heavily. As a result, it will need teammates that have defensive synergy with it. For the Belly Drum set, most offensive threats can also potentially deal enough damage to Azumarill that it may be put out of Belly Drum range or be put at extremely low health in the event it gets Belly Drum off to be taken out by most priority moves. Azumarill's most notable revenge killers are Latios, Latias, and Starmie who can safely take a +6 Aqua Jet even with chip damage and KO Azumarill with Thunderbolt to stop it in its tracks. Focus Sash Alakazam can also stop Belly Drum Azumarill in its tracks with Energy Ball or Psychic if it took some chip damage.

**Faster Priority**: Lucario and Dragonite are notable Extreme Speed users in the tier who can cut Azumarill's Belly Drum sweeps short if weakened and bypass Aqua Jet thanks to its +2 priority. Choice Band Dragonite can take a Play Rough from Banded Azumarill when Multiscale is active and 2HKO with Extreme Speed. Offensive Scizor 2HKOs Azumarill with Bullet Punch. These are Pokemon Azumarill wants to have weakened or dealt with if it's to complete their sweeps.

Content-wise this is fine but this is a genuine grammatical and formatting mess that NEEDS to be addressed in order for me to QC stamp it (I know it's usually a GP issue but it makes it almost unreadable)
PLEASE double, triple check this (you can use what I quoted as the "skeleton") for capitalization errors in moves (huge!!!), and sentences that don't make sense reading them functionally or are poorly worded, before I give you the second QC stamp; let me know when I can reread it

It can get itself to set up against a choice-locked Latios that is locked into Draco Meteor, or Surf, or get free revenge kill on a Garchomp locked into Outrage thanks to its fairy typing granting immunity against dragon-type moves. At +6, Azumarill does need to watch out for phasers such as Skarmory or Empoleon who force Azumarill to switch out and lose its Belly Drum boost, in Skarmory's case it needs to not be at full health to ensure sturdy does not activate. Empoleon however gets KOed by a +6 Play Rough from Azumarill barring full defensive investment and a +Defensive nature.

Azumarill will need teammates who can handle Shaymin and Breloom since both can take an 1 Aqua Jet at +6 and threaten it with a KO. The important factor when it comes to using this set to sweep is that it usually needs Pokemon that resist its Aqua Jet to be worn down or taken out before it can attempt a clean sweep, notable checks that Azumarill wants help against is Starmie who has Thunderbolt and the Eon Twins who can survive a +6 Aqua Jet, even after rocks.

Focus Sash Alakazam appreciates Choice Band Azumarill's ability to bulldoze the opposition since Focus Sash Alakazam needs its checks the opposition (repetition) to be weakened in order for it to be able to clean up.

Belly Drum Azumarill can run an alternative spread of 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spe with Adamant Nature. This spread allows it to improve its natural bulk while still being faster than defensive Skarmory. Facade can be a niche alternative to Superpower for the Choice Band Azumarill that allows it to still be functional if it is burned.

Checks and Counters
==================
**Grass-type Pokémon**: Breloom, Tangrowth, and Shaymin are Pokemon that Azumarill needs to account for. Defensive Tangrowth can switch into Choice Band, however, it can not handle Belly Drum Azumarill since a +6 boosted Play Rough KOs Tangrowth so it has to scout out the set. Breloom also does not like switching into Play Rough but if it gets in, Azumarill gets outsped and will get KOed by Seed Bomb or Bullet Seed since Breloom resists Aqua Jet or gets put to sleep and allows Breloom to setup. Shaymin forces Azumarill out with Seed Flare and can stomach +6 Aqua Jet; however, it cannot switch into Choice Band Play Rough unless it has Defense investment. (CAPITALIZE THE MOVE NAMES!!!!!)

**Rotom-Wash**: Rotom-Wash can cripple Azumarill with Will-o-Wisp, resists Aqua Jet, and can be easily threatened for massive damage by Volt Switch or Thunderbolt, and while it doesn't like to take a Play Rough on the switch Azumarill can only attempt to outspeed an uninvested Rotom-Wash with an unoptimal Jolly nature. While it doesn’t like taking Play Rough on the switch, Azumarill has to fear getting damaged heavily by Thunderbolt or Volt Switch since Rotom-Wash outspeeds it with zero Speed EVs against Adamant nature Azumarill. (reworded a bit)

**Bulky Water-type Pokémon**: Quagsire, Empoleon, and Milotic are notable Water-types who all can slow down Azumarill in some capacity. Quagsire with Unaware can stay out of 2HKO range from Belly Drum Azumarill and stall it out with Toxic barring Waterfall flinches, however it does struggle against the Choice Band set which cleanly 2HKOs it. Empoleon can act as a one-time check against Belly Drum Azumarill by using Roar to wipe out its Belly Drum Boost, but it Empoleon (repetition) fares much better against the Choice Band set as it can take hits from Azumarill's attacks besides Superpower. Milotic naturally outspeeds Azumarill and can use Haze to take away the +6 boost Belly Drum provides. Milotic struggles against the Choice Band set since Play Rough 2HKOs unless Marvel Scale is active. Azumarill, regardless of the set, does have to fear a Scald burn when facing Bulky Water-types in general.

Azumarill's most notable revenge killers are Latios, Latias, and Starmie who can safely take a +6 Aqua Jet even with chip damage, and KO Azumarill with Thunderbolt to stop it in its tracks. Focus Sash Alakazam can also check Azumarill in a pinch, being able to deal with the Choice Band set with two Psychic hits, providing Azumarill isn't locked into Aqua Jet. stop Belly Drum Azumarill in its tracks with Energy Ball or Psychic if it took some chip damage. (psychic does 60max its kind of cringe, you dont beat the sitrus drummer unless you have the very occasional ball)

Azumarill is capable of being both, an offensive wallbreaker, and a Belly Drum sweeper thanks to its ability Huge Power and STAB priority. However, it is a Pokemon that does need proper support to be at its best since it is rather slow and one can not simply slap it onto any team since it wants to remain relatively healthy although it does have respectable bulk that can give it some chances of coming in safely. Azumarill requires good support to be in optimum position to be a threat; despite its respectable bulk it still needs to remain healthy to set up, due to its subpar natural Speed tier. It usually only needs one window of opportunity to get onto the field and either sweep or put a dent into the opposition depending on which set it runs. Also, to point out this has never been GP checked yet so the title should state that it is GP 0/2.
For future reference when writing analysis' Pokemon moves and names should always be capitalised, and we use a more formal tone that is concise rather than speaking around the points that make it seem vague or unprofessional.

Azumarill graces BDSP OU as either a strong wallbreaker with Choice Band or a terrifying, hard-to-scout Belly Drum sweeper. However, it needs support to stay healthy—especially if using Belly Drum—and handle certain threats. (I imagine "especially if using Belly Drum" makes sense?) Its low Speed leaves it vulnerable defensively despite its decent bulk and Aqua Jet, and it needs help to pressure the common Breloom and Latios, which massively threaten it in return. Azumarill's main set, Belly Drum + Sitrus Berry, also struggles to beat Unaware Clefable, a common defensive glue Pokemon it can't 2HKO. This set is designed for Azumarill to clean up in the late game late-game or heavily cripple the opposition. Waterfall and Play Rough is the standard STAB combination for Azumarill, while Aqua Jet is its main go-to move Once set-up, Aqua Jet is its go-to attack for most situations thanks to its priority. Sitrus Berry allows Azumarill to not be easily picked off by priority moves like Extreme Speed and also to helps Azumarill beat priority revenge killers and take a hit while setting up. Mystic Water is an alternative that can be used to boost Aqua Jet's damage and allows Azumarill to have to strengthen Aqua Jet and give a small chance to 2HKO Unaware Clefable with Waterfall. It can get itself to Azumarill can set up against a choice-locked Latios that is Choice locked into Draco Meteor (RC) or Surf, or get free revenge kill on a Garchomp locked into Outrage thanks to its Fairy typing granting immunity against dragon-type moves. Empoleon however gets KOed by a +6 Play Rough from Azumarill barring full defensive investment and a +Defensive nature. Outrage. After setting up, Azumarill does need to watch out for phazers like full health Skarmory and maximally physically defensive Empoleon, but it can blow past chipped Skarmory and other Empoleon sets.

Azumarill becomes a potent wallbreaker that has very few switch-ins in the tier that can handle it. **Grass types**: Breloom, Tangrowth, and Shaymin are Pokemon that Azumarill needs to account for. It can also use Spore before setting up. Shaymin forces Azumarill out with Seed Flare and can stomach +6 Aqua Jet; however, it cannot switch into Choice Band Play Rough unless it has Defense investment.

**Rotom-Wash**: Rotom-Wash can cripple Azumarill with Will-O-Wisp, resists Aqua Jet, and can be easily threatened for massive damage by easily threaten massive damage with Volt Switch or Thunderbolt, and Thunderbolt. While it doesn't like to take a Play Rough on the switch, (AC) Azumarill can only attempt to outspeed an outspeed even (if appropriate) uninvested Rotom-Wash with a suboptimal Jolly nature.

**Bulky Water-type Pokemon**: Quagsire, Empoleon, and Milotic are notable water-types who all can slow down Azumarill in some capacity. Quagsire with Unaware can stay out of 2HKO range from Belly Drum Azumarill and stall it out with Toxic barring Waterfall flinches, however but it does struggle against the Choice Band set, (AC) which cleanly 2HKOes it. Empoleon can act as a one-time check against Belly Drum Azumarill by using Roar to wipe out its Belly Drum Boost, phaze Belly Drum Azumarill one time, but it fares much better against the Choice Band set, (AC) as it can take hits from Azumarill's all its attacks besides Superpower. Milotic naturally outspeeds Azumarill and can use Haze to take away the +6 boost Belly Drum provides. wipes out its Belly Drum boost with Haze. Milotic struggles against the Choice Band set, though, since Play Rough 2HKOes unless Marvel Scale is active. Azumarill, regardless of the set, does have to fear fears a Scald burn when facing bulky Water-types in general.

**Revenge Killers**: Generally, revenge killers can either threaten to kill Azumarill or cripple it heavily. As a result, it will need teammates that have defensive synergy with it. For the Belly Drum set, most offensive threats can also potentially deal enough damage to Azumarill that it may be put out of Belly Drum range or be put at extremely low health in the event it gets Belly Drum off to be taken out by Most offensive threats can damage Belly Drum Azumarill enough that it either can't set up or enters KO range for most priority moves. Azumarill's most notable revenge killers are Latios, Latias, and Starmie, (AC) who which can safely take a +6 Aqua Jet, (AC) even with chip damage, and OHKO Azumarill with Thunderbolt to stop it in its tracks. Focus Sash Alakazam can also check Azumarill in a pinch, being able to deal with the Choice Band set with two Psychic hits, providing provided Azumarill isn't locked into Aqua Jet.

Lucario, Dragonite, and offensive Scizor can pick off weakened Azumarill with priority before it can use Aqua Jet. Choice Band Dragonite can even take a Play Rough from Choice Band Azumarill, 2HKOing in return with Extreme Speed.

[OVERVIEW]
Azumarill graces BDSP OU with its capabilities of either being as either a strong wallbreaker with Choice Band or a terrifying Belly Drum sweeper who is difficult to scout out. Its Water/Fairy typing is also a useful typing that allows it to switch into some of the prominent dragons in the tier and Huge Power makes it pack some of the highest attack stats anyone could ask for alongside STAB priority and the Water/Fairy STAB combination of Play Rough and Waterfall not having many resists in the tier. Azumarill is generally a strong option for hyper offense and standard offensive teams since it has STAB Aqua Jet which is handy in a priority-heavy metagame to take out faster, weakened Pokemon and its typing allows it to come in on some offensive Pokemon that are notable threats such as Feraligatr, Weavile or Infernape to start wreaking havoc. However, it is a Pokemon that does need proper support to be at its best since it is rather slow and one can not simply slap it onto any team since it wants to remain relatively healthy although it does have respectable bulk that can give it some chances of coming in safely. It usually only needs one window of opportunity to get onto the field and either sweep or put a dent into the opposition depending on which set it runs. Despite the pros it offers, Azumarill notably needs help dealing with the common Breloom and Latios who pose a massive threat to Azumarill. Azumarill's main set: Belly Drum struggles to beat Unaware Clefable who avoids 2HKO range barring Mystic Water and is a common defensive glue that holds teams together.

Azumarill graces BDSP OU as either a strong wallbreaker with Choice Band or a terrifying, hard-to-scout Belly Drum sweeper. Still, Azumarill usually only needs one window of opportunity to either sweep or put a dent in the opposition.

[SET COMMENTS]
Outrage. After setting up, Azumarill does need to watch out for phazers like full health Skarmory and maximally physically defensive Empoleon, but it can blow past chipped Skarmory and other Empoleon sets.

Azumarill works best on hyper offense teams, (AC) where it can set up and threaten a sweep against the opposing team at any time with immediately threaten a sweep after any one turn of setup. This set does get checked by Unaware Clefable, (AC) who which is a common blanket check for the numerous setup sweepers in the tier, so a teammate like Lucario who that can deal with Clefable it is great. Azumarill will need teammates who that can handle Shaymin and Breloom, (AC) since both can take an Aqua Jet at +6 and threaten it with an OHKO. (I assume it's an OHKO?) The important factor when it comes to using this set to sweep is that it usually needs Pokemon that resist its aqua jet to be worn down or taken out before it can attempt a clean sweep, notable checks that Azumarill wants help against is Starmie who has thunderbolt and the Eon Twins who can survive a +6 Aqua Jet after rocks. Choice Scarf users such as Infernape can help Azumarill with U-turn in wearing down Latios, Latias, and Starmie. Scizor threatens a kill with U-turn on those aforementioned The most important tip with this set is to, before sweeping, use teammates to wear down or take out Pokemon that avoid the OHKO from +6 Aqua Jet. For example, Choice Scarf users such as Infernape can wear down Starmie, Latios, and Latias with U-turn. Scizor's U-turn threatens to OHKO those (I assume it's an OHKO?) threats and can get Azumarill into the game safely without losing momentum. Alakazam and Weavile both outright threaten Starmie, Latios, and Latias with their superior Speed. Garchomp is another great teammate for Azumarill who can provide rocks support to provide Stealth Rock and also deal with Magnezone, (AC) who which outspeeds Azumarill and threatens it heavily unless Azumarill is at +6. Screens Azelf and Suicide Lead Skarmory are both great teammates for Azumarill. Azelf sets up Dual Screens and makes it easier for Azumarill to come in along with improving its longevity while Lead Skarmory can lay down hazards that can weaken foes over the course of a match which makes it easier for Azumarill to complete its sweep. before Belly Drum. Azelf and suicide lead Skarmory support Azumarill and its hyper offense teammates with dual screens and entry hazards. Focus Sash Alakazam, Breloom, and Dragonite are notable late-game cleaners who appreciate Azumarill's ability to punch holes into the opposing team's defenses, making their ability to sweep or clean up in the late game easier to pull off. that appreciate Azumarill's wallbreaking ability, which makes their role easier.

[SET COMMENTS]
Azumarill becomes a potent wallbreaker that has very few switch-ins in the tier that can handle it. Choice Band makes Azumarill a potent immediate wallbreaker with very few switch-ins, which forces frightening predictions. Even Slowbro has a modest chance to get 2HKOed by Play Rough after Stealth Rock. The most notable difference from its Belly Drum set is that it Belly Drum Azumarill is that this set 2HKOes and beats the premier Unaware users of the tier: Clefable and Quagsire who can check its Belly Drum set instead get 2HKO by Choice Band. Its immediate power forces opponents to have to predict and even Slowbro has a modest chance to get 2HKO with rocks on the field by Play Rough. Choice Band Azumarill's 4th fourth move of choice is Superpower, (AC) which can take out Steel-types such as Empoleon, Lucario, and Magnezone on the switch.

Choice Band Azumarill struggles against bulky Grass-types. Teammates that Azumarill would appreciate include Weavile, Infernape, Scizor and Garchomp. Weavile can handle Shaymin and Tangrowth, alongside Starmie, Latios, and Latias, Shaymin, and Tangrowth. Infernape can serve as a U-turn pivot to get Azumarill on the field pivot Azumarill in with U-turn alongside beating the grass types Grass-types of the tier. Garchomp works as a switch-in against Volt Switch and electric switches into Volt Switch and Electric-type moves in general, (AC) along with being able to provide rocks support on offensive teams on top of inviting in Latios, and Latias who typically beat Garchomp. providing Stealth Rock for offense teams. (the benefit of inviting in latios/latias is unclear since they beat both chomp and azu; maybe clarify if you want to keep that point) Scizor synergizes with Azumarill as a pivoter since Scizor pivots Azumarill in and tends to bring in Heatran and Infernape, (AC) which are matchups Azumarill performs well against. Rotom-Wash and Gliscor are notable defensive pivots that Azumarill works well with thanks to their Will-O-Wisp support and Electric immunity, (AC) respectively. Focus Sash Alakazam appreciates Choice Band Azumarill's ability to bulldoze the opposition since Focus Sash Alakazam needs its checks to be weakened in order for it to be able to Azumarill bulldozing the opposition and weakening its checks so it can clean up.
