Hello artists! Smogon's social media is once again requesting your help, except that this time it'll be for our
Trivia Project!
The Trivia Project is basically composed of three types of events:

Who's That Pokémon, a weekly event that's posted every Friday and where our followers guess what Pokémon is hidden behind the series of emotes (
example);

Zoom, a monthly event that takes one of the Friday slots of WTP and where our followers guess who the Pokémon in the zoomed-in image is (
example);
- and, of course,
Trivia a weekly event that's posted every Tuesday and where our followers have to answer a Pokémon-related trivia question (
example)!
The
Trivia event is the one we'd like to work on together!
As you may have noticed from the above example, every trivia question is accompanied by an artwork created by a Smogon artist, usually for the purpose of a Flying Press article. This method of scavenging for old artworks that might be related to the theme of the question worked for a while as we were reviving the Trivia Project. However. we're now looking to have a more direct contact with artists in order to build our own database of usable artworks and, ideally, prepare artworks that are a direct illustration of the questions being asked.
Here's how we intend to make it work:
On average, there are four trivia questions a month. The members of the Trivia Project will be preparing these questions a month in advance so that artists can receive their prompts with sufficient time to illustrate them. These more specific prompts will serve as
High Priority, since they are meant to be used on a specific question that already has a set date.
We'll also be posting some more "general" prompts that will serve as
Medium Priority, in case an unforeseen delay occurs on either the artist end or the trivia end. These prompts will cover broader themes, which will allow them to be used on more than just one question, if necessary.
Participation to this project is currently limited to
Approved Artists, and your contributions will be considered towards the obtainment of both the Artist Badge and the Social Media Badge!
If you wish to participate, simply reply to this thread by specifying which of the prompts posted you would like to work on. Each
High Priority prompt can only be claimed by one artist at the time, but the
Medium Priority ones can be worked on by up to two different artists at once since they're likely to be used more than once.
Once your artwork is ready, you can post it in this thread.
