Can't have an AG team without this bad boy

Yveltal @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Dark Aura
EVs: 72 HP / 252 SpD / 184 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Foul Play
- Snarl
- Defog
- Roost

Very standard fast yveltal set. Fast to foul play zekrom and groudon so they don't set up/attack for free. Snarl of course for sub calyrex and to punish any calyrex BP-ing nasty plot boosts. Defog for hazards and roost standard.
You all know this mon and what it does though. It's a must have for any balance if we choose to go that way.

Blissey @ Utility Umbrella
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Toxic
- Aromatherapy
- Teleport

The notoriously Kyogre-weak Zygarde needs a really good Kyogre check alongside it, so Blissey fits well there. In addition, it greatly helps the Xerneas matchup, making it far easier for Zygarde to do its work trapping things and mauling teams. Teleport helps Zygarde to get more free turns to come in, pivoting it safely into potentially trappable Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Necrozma-DM that might want to come in to take advantage of Blissey’s Passivity. Also, a cleric alongside Rest Zygarde helps a lot, healing Zygarde’s status to let it come back in and trap more stuff.

Banned deucer.
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 248 SpD / 4 Spe
Careful Nature
- Toxic
- Taunt
- Stone Edge
- Magma Storm

This set can slightly deal with Ho-oh which whirlwinds Zyg’s boosts as well as dealing with potential Kyurem whites/defensive Etern that can hurt Zyg. Zyg Heatran has a lot of synergy because of Heatran’s ability to chip most mons to death . Heatran also makes the goth MU better with some speed evs you can always outspeed unless they’re completely invested in speed letting this core avoid getting charmed and trapped not being able to sweep through teams easily. Heatran also somewhat deals with pr Zac’s which normally use assurance rather then cc. This core struggles with kyogre but heatran keeps Kyogre from not hard switching taking potential rock chips+ toxic/magma storm damage.

4 Atk Heatran Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 208+ Def Ho-Oh: 216-256 (52 - 61.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Ho-Oh simply can’t do anything to heatran forcing it to whirlwind as well as taking huge chip from edge

0 SpA Eternatus Dynamax Cannon vs. 252 HP / 248 SpD Heatran: 57-67 (14.7 - 17.3%) -- possible 9HKO after Leftovers recovery

+1 252 SpA Life Orb Eternatus Dynamax Cannon vs. 252 HP / 248 SpD Heatran: 131-155 (33.9 - 40.1%) -- 31.9% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Life Orb Eternatus Meteor Beam vs. 252 HP / 248 SpD Heatran: 140-166 (36.2 - 43%) -- 97.6% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Etern can’t really damage Heatran at all unless it's an offensive meteor beam set but even then you wall although you can’t deal much to Etern but in exchange you force them out at some point.

Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Transform

The man. The myth. The legend. The OG blob. Zyg literally does not care for threatening Zacians if you pull an UNO REVERSE on them and proceed to massacre the opponent with their own mon. Facing a Geomancy Xerneas? Impostor. Facing +2 Caly? Impostor. Dunk the opponent with a taste of their own medicine.

Necrozma Dusk Mane is a great partner with zygarde.

Necrozma-Dusk-Mane @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 216 HP / 252 Def / 40 Spe
Impish Nature
- Sunsteel Strike
- Thunder Wave
- Morning Sun
- Stealth Rock

Necrozma takes care of one of the biggest threats in the meta, Zacian. It easily chips zacian and can eventually take it out with sunsteel strike or helm chip, while also outspeed it when it (zacian) is paralyzed with the 40 speed evs. This is good because zacian can hard counter zygarde after zygarde takes a good bit of chip damage. While scaring out zacian, it can set up rocks without much worry, giving you free chip and them needing to get a defogger out. With thunder wave, necrozma spreads paralysis through the opponents team, giving zygarde a free chance to set up or even just crippling the opposing team. Zygarde and Necrozma is such a good defensive backbone, and almost no physical attackers can get past it. Sorry for the sloppy explanation, idk what to say since ndm is pretty straightforward.

Zacian-Crowned @ Rusted Sword
Ability: Intrepid Sword
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Crunch
- Behemoth Blade
- Wild Charge

Zacian-C is a great teammate for Zygarde-C due to it being able to check Xerneas which is probably the biggest threat to Zygarde-C since it can take advantange of Zygarde-C and easily set up Geomancy allowing it to sweep through teams. In return, Zygarde-C can complement it by pressuring Necrozma-DM, which is the most prominent Zacian-C check, using its moves and can potentially trap it using Thousand Waves allowing Zacian-C to deal damage to the opposing team in great proportions.

Now, since Zacian-C is no longer the fastest Pokemon in the tier, speed can be compromised for bulk as there will always be some Pokemon that outspeeds it. The HP EVs ensure that it is not OHKOed by Max Lightning from Xerneas at +2 Special Attack. It can also tank Behemoth Blade from opposing Adamant Zacian-C and Astral Barrage from Choice Specs Timid Calyrex-S which have a high chance landing an OHKO on Zacian-C

252 SpA Choice Specs Calyrex-Shadow Astral Barrage vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Zacian-Crowned: 312-367 (80.4 - 94.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ SpA Xerneas Max Lightning vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Zacian-Crowned: 300-353 (77.3 - 90.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Sunsteel Strike vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Zacian-Crowned: 142-168 (36.5 - 43.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

:ss/calyrex-shadow:

Calyrex-Shadow @ Choice Scarf
Ability: As One (Spectrier)
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stomping Tantrum
- Astral Barrage
- Giga Drain
- Draining Kiss

So this is the dynamax abuser of the team. As I did not have much defensive synergy left after the previous submissions I wanted to put this set of the dreaded horse. Stomping Tantrum is not that preferred but added for coverage and/or spd boost. Astral Barrage needs no intro. Giga drain is the surprise the annoying quagsire (which is common specially as a Zacian check which may feature in our team later. And draining kiss is for Yveltal himself.

+2 252 SpA Calyrex-Shadow Draining Kiss vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tyranitar in Sand: 174-206 (51 - 60.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Calyrex-Shadow Astral Barrage vs. 12 HP / 48 SpD Zygarde: 465-547 (129.1 - 151.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Calyrex-Shadow Astral Barrage vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Zacian-Crowned: 415-490 (127.3 - 150.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Calyrex-Shadow Draining Kiss vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Yveltal: 296-350 (75.3 - 89%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Calyrex-Shadow Astral Barrage vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Kyogre: 349-412 (102.3 - 120.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

1. Agentkeval's NDM. Stab Sunsteel Strike can check Xerneas, T-wave is a good way to check Zacian-Crowned and not boosted Calyrex-shadow, and stealth rock is a must for some chip and removing potential sash.
2. emilight's Ditto "The OG blob" I liked the idea of using ditto to "pull an UNO REVERSE on them". It can definitely take advantage of pokemon that are setting up and one thing I like about ditto is that it can leak information about moves an opponent ran.
3. Frozoid's Zacian Crowned. Another great Xerneas check and a pokemon that can dish out big damage.

Everyone else's sets were really great too!

Hello y'all! Week two has concluded, so give a massive gz to Agentkeval for winning with their suggestion of Necrozma Dusk Mane. We now have a solid core of NDM and Zygarde!

:ss/zygarde-complete: :ss/necrozma-dusk-mane:

What weaknesses defensively do these mons have? Is there enough offensive output to break bulkier teams? Can this withstand the assault of hyper offense? All these questions and more will be answered soon enough. I look forward to your week 3 submissions! Remember to keep the pokemon relegated to VR :3

Submission deadline is March 6th at 10 pm gmt-5

Also adding Necrozma-DM was mandatory anyway and it just makes the core more ogre-weak so I think we still need Blissey.
