[SET COMMENTS]
Alcremie faces unfavorable competition from Clefable, Hatterene, and Sylveon in the various roles it can play in the OU tier as a slow, bulky Fairy-type, and as such is not generally recommended to be used in the OU metagame. Its best attempt to distinguish itself is by using a Calm Mind set, taking advantage of its access to a more reliable recovery option than its competitors. The combination of Calm Mind and Recover allows Alcremie to remain healthy while setting up, becoming difficult to break on the special side and increasing its power. Mystical Fire allows Alcremie to hit Steel-types that resist Dazzling Gleam, such as Aegislash, Ferrothorn, Corviknight, and Excadrill. Aroma Veil is Alcremie's best choice for an ability, making it immune to Taunt from Grimmsnarl, Mandibuzz, and Cinderace, as well as Disable from Dragapult. The EVs maximize physical bulk while also allowing Alcremie to always withstand a +2 Flash Cannon from Hydreigon.

Alcremie would fit best on balanced or bulkier builds to act as a wincon. It is effortlessly shut down by Toxapex, so a partner that can deal with it is necessary. Hydreigon is a good example of a partner that can take advantage of Toxapex. Corviknight is a partner that can control entry hazards and check Excadrill and Bisharp, which can otherwise threaten Alcremie. Mandibuzz serves as entry hazard control while being a more rigid check to Aegislash. Seismitoad is another good partner that can check Dracovish, which is capable of breaking through Alcremie easily.

QC ready. Acid Armor is very unique and is honestly one of the best "draws" to using Alcremie over Clefable or something, with the meta so filled with physical attackers it actually is a pretty solid option, so I had to mention it, it's still not consistent enough to warrant a slash (imo) since it makes you straight up just PP stalled by Corviknight.

The combination of Calm Mind and Recover allows Alcremie to remain healthy while setting up, becoming difficult to break on the special side and increasing its power. Dazzling Gleam is Alcremie's primary attacking option and hits much of the tier for decent damage, while Mystical Fire allows Alcremie to hit Steel-types that resist Dazzling Gleam, such as Aegislash, Ferrothorn, Corviknight, and Excadrill. Acid Armor can be used instead of Mystical Fire to allow Alcremie to take hits from the host of physical attackers in the OU tier, such as Galarian Darmanitan, Tyranitar, Cinderace, and Choice Scarf Dracovish, but in doing so, it gives up the ability to hit Steel-types, and will struggle to break through Corviknight. Don't even mention this. Being unable to hit Steel-types is terrible, and definitely doesn't set Alcremie apart from the other Fairy-types in a good way. Aroma Veil is Alcremie's best choice for an ability, making it immune to Taunt from Grimmsnarl, Mandibuzz, and Cinderace. The EVs maximize physical bulk while also allowing Alcremie to always withstand a +2 Flash Cannon from Hydreigon.

Good job, 1/2.

I'm not QC but I think it's worth mentioning that Aroma Veil also blocks Disable, which makes Alcremie a decent answer to SubDisable Dragapult. This helps further distinguish Alcremie from Clefable, since Clefable risks getting Moonblast disabled.

Also, a spread of 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpD with a Calm nature helps avoid 2HKOs from Modest LO Clefable's Moonblast and Timid Dragapult's Hex after burn damage. You also avoid being OHKO'd by +2 Hydreigon's Flash Cannon after Stealth Rock damage.

252+ SpA Life Orb Clefable Moonblast vs. 252 HP / 68+ SpD Alcremie: 133-156 (39.8 - 46.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Dragapult Hex (130 BP) vs. 252 HP / 68+ SpD Alcremie: 129-153 (38.6 - 45.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after burn damage
+2 252 SpA Hydreigon Flash Cannon vs. 252 HP / 68+ SpD Alcremie: 248-292 (74.2 - 87.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
