Mega Mewtwo Y takes the victory, congrats Cheezy!

Moving on:
:sm/mewtwo-mega-y:
Mewtwo-Mega-Y @ Mewtwonite Y
Ability: Unnerve
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Psystrike
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast

Mega Mewtwo Y has emerged as a dangerous anti-meta pick recently. With access to Nasty Plot, the ability to find setup opportunities by forcing plenty of switches and due to good special bulk, as well as a great Speed tier that allows it to outspeed Adamant Zacian-C, Mega Mewtwo Y has the capacity to spiral out of control very quickly, force the opponent's Dynamax, and often even clean up late-game.

[Submission phase ends Saturday 4th July 3 PM GMT]
As a side-note, Z-Moves have been legalized with newly introduced moves such as Dynamax Cannon, so feel free to include these as options from now on

Yveltal @ Choice Band
Ability: Dark Aura
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Sucker Punch
- Foul Play

Mewtwo is forced to play honest with Choice Band Yveltal. It cannot risk going for Nasty Plot because Special Yvel can just kill it, meaning it must use Ice Beam or Focus Blast. This means Yveltal can easily KO it with Sucker Punch. I chose this over Special/Mixed Yvel because it is the safest option, as it avoids the threat of Ice Beam entirely with Sucker Punch.

reserving lunala

Lunala @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Shadow Shield
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Moongeist Beam
- Moonblast
- Roost

Lunala is a counter. Lunala resists Mewtwo's primary STAB and takes almost nothing from it's other coverage options due to Shadow Shield. Moongeist Beam at +1 will always OHKO. Calm Mind can combat Mewtwo's Nasty Plot by raising Special Defense. Roost is very good recovery that can help get back to full health for Shadow Shield to have a effect again.

8 SpA Lunala Moongeist Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 242-288 (68.5 - 81.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 8 SpA Lunala Moongeist Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 362-428 (102.5 - 121.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Shadow Shield Lunala: 76-90 (15.9 - 18.8%) -- possible 6HKO
252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Lunala: 153-181 (32 - 37.9%) -- 94.9% chance to 3HKO
+2 252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Shadow Shield Lunala: 153-180 (32 - 37.7%) -- 94.6% chance to 3HKO
+2 252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Lunala: 306-361 (64.1 - 75.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. +1 248 HP / 0 SpD Lunala: 204-241 (42.7 - 50.5%) -- 2% chance to 2HKO

Mega Sableye is a counter to MMY:

:ss/sableye-mega:
Sableye-Mega @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm / Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Foul Play
- Protect / Shadow Sneak
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp

The classic specially defensive MSab, being immune to both Psystrike and Focus Blast from MMY, while avoiding the 2HKO from Fire Blast. If Mewtwo Nasty Plots on the switch, it still wouldn’t ohko, while Foul Play has a chance to ohko in return. Recover is for instant recovery while WoW punishes other physical attackers as usual.

Shadow Sneak is surely a niche pick, but it does catch people off guard and can revenge kill weakened mons such as this MMY.
Note: if you use Shadow Sneak, use a Careful Nature and 31 Atk IVs.
252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Sableye-Mega: 107-126 (35.3 - 41.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

+2 252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Sableye-Mega: 213-251 (70.2 - 82.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0- Atk Sableye-Mega Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 350-414 (99.1 - 117.2%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
The above MMY set has 31 Atk IVs, but usually they don’t so here is a more accurate calc:

0- Atk Sableye-Mega Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 320-378 (90.6 - 107%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO

Mega Sableye is a counter to MMY:

:ss/sableye-mega:
Sableye-Mega @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Atk / 240 SpD
- Knock Off
- Shadow Sneak
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp

The classic specially defensive MSab, being immune to both Psystrike and Focus Blast from MMY, while avoiding the 2HKO from Fire Blast. If Mewtwo Nasty Plots on the switch, it still wouldn’t ohko, while Knock Off and Shadow Sneak ensures an ohko in return with 16 Atk EVs (seriously how did mmy live a knock tho). Recover is for instant recovery while WoW punishes other physical attackers as usual.
Shadow Sneak is surely a niche pick, but it does catch people off guard and can revenge kill weakened mons such as this MMY.

252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 240+ SpD Sableye-Mega: 107-127 (35.1 - 41.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

+2 252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 240+ SpD Sableye-Mega: 215-253 (70.7 - 83.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

16 Atk Sableye-Mega Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 252-296 (71.3 - 83.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

16 Atk Sableye-Mega Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 104-126 (29.4 - 35.6%) -- 19.3% chance to 3HKO

combined is 100.7% quick maths guaranteed ohko
Note: foul play KOs, in case you for some reason don’t want to run two attacking moves.

16 Atk Sableye-Mega Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 252-296 (71.3 - 83.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

16 Atk Sableye-Mega Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 104-126 (29.4 - 35.6%) -- 19.3% chance to 3HKO
Knock Off doesn't get the boost if the opponent's mon holds a Mega Stone / Orb, but Mega Sableye is still a check. A counter with Foul Play.
Offensive Calcs (Knock Off)
16 Atk Sableye-Mega Knock Off vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 168-200 (47.5 - 56.6%) -- 85.5% chance to 2HKO
16 Atk Sableye-Mega Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 104-126 (29.4 - 35.6%) -- 19.3% chance to 3HKO
Offensive Calcs (Foul Play)
0- Atk Sableye-Mega Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Mewtwo-Mega-Y: 320-378 (90.6 - 107%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
Defensive Calcs
252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 240+ SpD Sableye-Mega: 107-127 (35.1 - 41.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+2 252 SpA Mewtwo-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 240+ SpD Sableye-Mega: 215-253 (70.7 - 83.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+4 Fire Blast does about as much as you would expect.
