Heatran takes the victory, congrats MDB!
Moving on:

:sm/rayquaza-mega:

Rayquaza @ Life Orb
Ability: Delta Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Dragon Ascent
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed

If I were to travel back in time, and tell the gen 7 AG community that AG's raison d'être would soon be power creeped by numerous threats, I'd have been declared a lunatic fool. Indeed, AG's power level has reached an unprecedented height with the introduction of Zacian-C and Dynamax, and Mega Rayquaza's had to endure this with the sourest of expressions. It is back with a vengeance though, raising its wallbreaking prowess to the maximum with Swords Dance, thereby becoming one of our premier wallbreakers once again.

Reserving magnemite
:ss/magnemite: :ss/magnemite: :ss/magnemite:
Magnemite @ Berry Juice
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 1
EVs: 116 Def / 236 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Recycle
- Protect
- Volt Switch
- Toxic
Not much to say here. Magnemite switches in, and stalls out LO recoil. If ray tries to PP stall with SD, magnemite can toxic it to guarantee that it dies.

Submitting Tyranitar as a counter

:ss/tyranitar:
Tyranitar @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Sand Storm
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Foul Play
- Pursuit
- Rock Tomb
- Rest

Shuca Berry Tyranitar was one of the best DD Mega Ray answers in Gen 7 and it returns in my submission now. It resists Ray’s move STAB in Dragon Ascent as well as the equally powerful V-create. The glaring Ground weakness can be dealt with via the item Shuca Berry. Unlike Skarmory, Tyranitar can OHKO Mega Ray with Foul Play.

Mega Ray unboosted
252+ Atk Life Orb Rayquaza-Mega Dragon Ascent vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Tyranitar: 121-143 (30 - 35.4%) -- 26% chance to 3HKO

Mega Ray at +2
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rayquaza-Mega Dragon Ascent vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Tyranitar: 242-285 (60 - 70.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rayquaza-Mega Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Shuca Berry Tyranitar: 268-316 (66.5 - 78.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Ttar vs Unboosted Ray (After EQ)
252+ Atk Tyranitar Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Rayquaza-Mega: 217-256 (61.8 - 72.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Ttar vs +2 Mega Ray
+2 252+ Atk Tyranitar Foul Play vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Rayquaza-Mega: 433-511 (123.3 - 145.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Slowbro-Mega @ Slowbronite
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Iron Defense
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
- Slack Off

Submitting my bro as a CHECK. Reason for that is that bro barely gets two hit ko'd by dascent making it a check. And with iron defense sds dont really matter unless they get a free one. The 50,6 max role :psycry:

Calcs
252+ Atk Life Orb Rayquaza-Mega Dragon Ascent vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro-Mega: 168-199 (42.7 - 50.6%) -- 1.2% chance to 2HKO
0 SpA Slowbro-Mega Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rayquaza-Mega in Strong Winds: 162-192 (46.1 - 54.7%) -- 59% chance to 2HKO

Omastar @ Air Balloon
Ability: Weak Armor
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shell Smash
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Hydro Pump

Submitting Air Balloon Omastar as a check.

Omastar is actually quite bulky on the physical side, enough so that DAscent can't even 2HKO from a max Attack MRay, and can't KO it from there with ESpeed after Omastar sets up, which is the best thing it can do since it outspeeds at +4. (Yes, MRay can KO Omastar with EQ, but it can't hit it until the Air Balloon is popped. By then Omastar would be able to outspeed so MRay has to ESpeed.) Since ESpeed won't KO at -2 Defense, it will also not KO at +2 Attack, so Swords Dance doesn't really matter. You can't just switch in though because unboosted Omastar will never OHKO MRay with Ice Beam.

252+ Atk Rayquaza-Mega Dragon Ascent vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Omastar: 114-134 (40.5 - 47.6%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ Atk Rayquaza-Mega Extreme Speed vs. -2 0 HP / 0 Def Omastar: 101-119 (35.9 - 42.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (+2 Atk MRay ESpeed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Omastar is the same calc)
+2 252 SpA Omastar Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Rayquaza-Mega in Strong Winds: 358-422 (101.9 - 120.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Tyranitar takes the victory, congrats WrathoftheLeopard!
Moving on:

:sm/necrozma-dusk-mane:

Necrozma-Dusk-Mane @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Sunsteel Strike
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge

Although Necrozma-DM is known mostly for its glue defensive set, it also got access to Dragon Dance with the generational shift, which, along with Dynamax, turned it into a very potent wincon when left unchecked in the builder. Immense bulk along with Dynamax and Weakness Policy easily allows Necrozma-DM to clean up once check have been weakened sufficiently. It is for you to present these checks!

Reserving zygarde-c
:ss/zygarde-complete:
Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Power Construct
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Glare
- Rest
- Coil
- Thousand Arrows

Not much to say here. Zygarde switches in on the setup turn of NDM and spams coil. Eventually Zyg can click glare and cripple NDM. Rest provides a source of recovery. Zygarde is a very solid check to this Dusk Mane set, because the only way for NDM to really break it is to get a crit. Even if Dusk Mane dynamaxes, it still can’t break Zyg, assuming Zygarde has been spamming coil and didn’t glare t1.

Submitting Skarmory as a Counter.

:sm/skarmory:
Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
EVs: 0 Atk
- Iron Defense
- Roost
- Toxic
- Whirlwind

Skarmory’s resistance to Dusk Mane’s most powerful attack in Sunsteel Strike while also being immune to Earthquake and neutral to Stone Edge paired with its impressive Physical Defense makes it a great answer to Dragon Dance Dusk Mane. It can use Iron Defense to become increasingly hard for Dusk Mane to KO or outboost. Whirlwind is also an option to force Dusk Mane out of it starts fishing for Critical Hits after it has boosted itself.

+1 252 Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 107-126 (32.1 - 37.8%) -- 0.5% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Max Rockfall vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 139-164 (41.7 - 49.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 252 Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Max Rockfall vs. +2 248 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 70-83 (21 - 24.9%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 252 Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Stone Edge vs. +2 248 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 72-85 (21.6 - 25.5%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

Guardsweeper u legend for giving us another thing that gets murdered by bro. Mega Slowbro is a counter to this monster. it needs +4 to even do half :/. While u just scald spam from the turn it comes in while using slack off if ur getting to low. (also nice that u can 3 hit ohko this beast with scald :D)

Calcs:
252 Atk Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro-Mega: 59-70 (14.9 - 17.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 SpA Slowbro-Mega Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 102-120 (30.4 - 35.8%) -- 35% chance to 3HKO

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Iron Defense
- Body Press

Ferrothorn is a counter to Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM thanks to its typing that makes it resistant to Stone Edge and Sunsteel Strike and neutral to Earthquake. It's able to take a lot of hits while stalling Necrozma out with Leech Seed, and Dragon Dance doesn't matter with Iron Defense. Body Press will also do decent damage to it and even has a chance to OHKO it at +6.

Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Earthquake vs. Ferrothorn: 75-89 (21.3 - 25.2%)
Body Press vs. Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 79-93 (23.5 - 27.7%)
+2 Body Press vs. Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 157-185 (46.8 - 55.2%)
+4 Body Press vs. Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 235-277 (70.1 - 82.6%)
+6 Body Press vs. Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 312-368 (93.1 - 109.8%)

Edit:forgot the Dynamax calcs, here they are.

Necrozma-Dusk-Mane Max Quake vs. Ferrothorn: 97-115 (27.5 - 32.6%)
Body Press vs. Dynamax Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 79-93 (11.7 - 13.8%)
+2 Body Press vs. Dynamax Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 157-185 (23.4 - 27.6%)
+4 Body Press vs. Dynamax Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 235-277 (35 - 41.3%)
+6 Body Press vs. Dynamax Necrozma-Dusk-Mane: 312-368 (46.5 - 54.9%)

As you can see, Ferrothorn can easily waste Dynamax NDM's turns.
