Gen 5 Abomasnow (GP 1/1)

[OVERVIEW]
Abomasnow's Snow Warning gives it an interesting niche as a disruptor against sand and rain teams. It really shines against rain staples such as Latios, Politoed, Thundurus-T, and Tentacruel and can scout Choice item Keldeo with Protect. Against sand teams, hail is useful for chipping Ferrothorn and Skarmory, something that Magic Guard Pokemon such as Alakazam and Reuniclus can capitalize on. Abomasnow can also threaten Tyranitar and Hippowdon with its STAB moves while being able to revenge kill Garchomp, Dragonite, Landorus-T, and Gliscor with Ice Shard, making it a decent counter to DragMag teams. However, Abomasnow's terrible defensive typing leaves it vulnerable to Pokemon like Heatran, Volcarona, Tyranitar, and Terrakion as well as entry hazards, particularly Stealth Rock. This in combination with its poor Speed makes it difficult to switch Abomasnow in. Hail teams are also generally inconsistent due to Abomasnow's vulnerable defenses and inability to cover all the threats that can take it out.

Abomasnow can also threaten Tyranitar and Hippowdon with its STAB moves while also being able to revenge kill Garchomp, Dragonite, Landorus-T, (AC) and Gliscor with Ice Shard, making it a decent counter to DragMag teams.
