Round Two

Necturine moves in close to Corphish, biting her in the neck in an attempt to drain her life force. Corphish's relaxed yet tough hide, however, prevents the attack from doing all that much damage. In order to break the Necturine's grasp, Corphish begins moving around in a wild fashion, doing her best to imitate a majestic dragon despite being a crustacean. Feeling as invigorated as ever, Corphish is now able to get the jump on Necturine, and strikes her in her weak points, but Necturine is quick to trade back a leafy blow. Corphish opts for more power on her next attack, expending a high amount of energy to really damage Necturine where it hurts. Necturine retaliates with a high-energy attack of her own, and the type advantage proves to be too much for the crawfish to overcome. However, now she is vulnerable to whatever Caliber has up their sleeve.

Round Four

Fawnifer took to the field against the fire camel, but he didn't act immediately. Numel had anticipated that Fawnifer would come out swinging, so she erected a barrier around herself just in case. Noticing the barrier before he prepared his move, Fawnifer took a moment to rest, although he wasn't that tired, as he just joined the battle. Confident that she was ready to go, Numel dropped the barrier, but Fawnifer quickly moved in with a powerful vine strike. Numel retaliated with a burst of fire from her back, and the flames were so hot that Fawnifer got burned. Perservering, Fawnifer delivered a downward strike onto Numel, but the burn was painful, and he wasn't able to put his full power into the attack. Bambo the Bambi takes a defiant stance, ready to pay back St. Helen for all the damage its inflicted- by spitting a wad of sickly toxins at it, dealing a solid 1 damage this round! St. Helen is having none of it, however, and roasts Bambo to a well done.

Recapping for myself, Florina's Necturnine takes down Caliber's Corphish, but just barely. Numel comes in to clean it up, and then takes down Fawnifer, leaving Bulbasaur against a Toxiced Numel and the Golett Caliber has waiting in the rear. Swiftly replacing the fallen Bambo, Florina sends out Derpasaur, who's blissfully unaware of the danger they're in and just a tad bit over eager as it promptly begins draining St. Helen. St. Helen, who's already wiped out the other two Grass-types, is both bored and tired, a sentiment it shows with an infectious Yawn. Derpasaur, now realizing that it has bit off more than it can chew, tries to rectify its mistake by engulfing St. Helen in a cloud of Sleep spores, knocking it out. However, Derpasaur continues to panic and continues to shroud the already sleeping figure of St. Helen in Sleep spores, but the quickly degrading spores fail to take effect on the already unconscious St. Helen. As the spores break down, St. Helen stirs and punishes this mistake with a plume of lava that burns Derpasaur!

Sorry about the wait, I totally missed this.

Oof. Florina forgets to spend a Sub to account for Sleep Powder succeeding A2 and gets punished for it. Combined with the Yawn Caliber weaved in their, Florina will have to work hard to get out of next round alive.​

Drowsy from Numel's Yawn, Derpasaur is able to drain St. Helen before sleep takes it. St. Helen takes advantage of Derpasaur's sleeping forme to land a Flame Charge, the residual heat loosening her muscles and raising her Speed by one. She follows up immediately with a Lava Plume, the pain shaking Derpasaur from his slumber, yet Derpasaur tries to Sleep Talk anyways! St. Helen continues her Lava Plume assault before Derpasaur's draining attacks and constant Toxic damage finally takes her down!

More sleep shenanigens. Looks like Florina forgot that 16 and more damage from an attack removes a sleep counter. Regardless, Numel goes down, just barely missing out on a triple KO. Now Caliber is forced into their final Pokemon, Golett. Can Bulbasaur take down a full health Golett in its state?​
