Resource 1v1 Team Bazaar and Showcase

OP Litterally stolen from ayedan who took it from Ransei thank u both
Hopefully we get a banner soon

Welcome to the 1v1 Team Bazaar!
This is the thread for sharing teams you've built that you'd like to discuss or get advice on! In short, it's a thread where you can show off teams without having to go through the trouble of writing up a full RMT. As long as your team is aimed at being functional in the 1v1 metagame, you're free to post it here (in other words, don't post a team of 3 Caterpies just because you think they're so darn cute). With that said, here are a few guidelines for posting here that you're expected to have read:

  • This isn't the place to post unfinished or untested teams. While the standards here are laxer than the RMT forum, you're still expected to put some effort into polishing your team before presenting them here

  • If you're going to comment on a team, please be constructive about it. If someone gives feedback on your team, also try to approach it with a constructive attitude even if you don't necessarily agree. Try to avoid one-liners when commenting on a team.

  • On a related note try and avoid long back-and-forth discussions arguing about a team. If it gets too out of hand, your posts may be deleted.

  • Include a description, importable, and sprites when posting teams, please! Make sure your description addresses specific teambuilding choices and general strategy, as well as any unique sets that might be on your team.

  • Please don't ask for your team to be added to showcase or samples. If you want to know why your team was turned down, pm a resource leader and they'll try to give you some idea of why (don't nag though, decisions on teams will not be made right away).

  • The 1v1 resources team will also be monitoring this thread for, particularly good submissions, the best of which have a chance to be featured in our new sample teams thread, whenever it comes out.

As always, happy posting!

Your team loses to Scarf Haxorus. It has 439 Speed with an Adamant Nature, outspeeding every member of your team.
252+ Atk Mold Breaker Haxorus Outrage vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dragapult: 600-708 (189.2 - 223.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Mold Breaker Haxorus Outrage vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Sawk: 300-354 (103 - 121.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO (Mold Breaker ignores Sturdy)
252+ Atk Mold Breaker Haxorus Superpower vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Excadrill: 476-562 (131.8 - 155.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

I recommend one of these Sawk EV spreads:
EVs: 8 HP / 168 Atk / 156 Def / 176 Spe; Jolly Nature
EVs: 8 HP / 92 Atk / 156 Def / 252 Spe; Adamant Nature

The HP and Def investment allows you to survive an Adamant Choice Scarf Haxorus Outrage:
252+ Atk Mold Breaker Haxorus Outrage vs. 8 HP / 156 Def Sawk: 247-292 (84.3 - 99.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

The Atk investment allows you to OHKO Haxorus back:
168 Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Sawk Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Haxorus: 294-346 (100.3 - 118%) -- guaranteed OHKO
92+ Atk Choice Band Mold Breaker Sawk Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Haxorus: 304-358 (103.7 - 122.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

The Jolly set continues to outspeed Dracovish, Dracozolt, and Toxtricitry, while the Adamant set trades Speed for more power.

Kee Wash was the first version, see in my series vs Maki and TSC, Specs kinda happened to check prima more reliably and stuff once it got released. This has the tools to beat almost everything, the kee version struggles with gastro and stuff whereas the specs version does better vs that and incin but struggles with stuff that you need to burn or eerie to beat. at this point i think we have spammed it enough where sharing isnt gonna be the main issue lol

not an unset (Conkeldurr) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 232 HP / 252 Atk / 24 SpD
Adamant Nature

- Mach Punch
- Close Combat
- Knock Off

Also totally didnt steal the togekiss from bopher lol

Also 252 252 bold togekiss has a favorable roll against banded adamant 252 drill and lives scarf darm-g so yea its pretty bulky

Edit: also lum berry is good on togekiss becuase this basically loses to sylveon so yay

Edit 2 : wait frick i need a description ok so togekiss deals with most direct attackers by yawning t1 too get a free turn of attack in 2 turns, endureing to get down to low hp, and then using your guareenteed sleep turn to endeavor and then using espeed to negate the need for luck. Mental herb and Lum berry are there to get rid of the roundabout ways people can attack you, like sylveon using yawn or encore which is covered by mental herb. Belly drum darmg breakes stall and direct not scarf pult attackers sometimes and thats it. Conk is there becuase i found that i was 3-0 by ttar while memeing on ladder and put conk here even though i dont even know if it beats chople or not but who cares its conkelldurr lol. also how do you put sprites wtf

This team peaked at 1698 elo on the Gen 8 1v1 ladder. As you can probably tell, EVs are not optimised whatsoever. (252s everywhere...)

Steelix:

- Strengths:
Autowin against most physical attackers in the metagame like Conkeldurr, Avalugg, Ferrothorn, Azumarill, Rhyperior, Darm-G, etc.

- Weaknesses:
Autoloses against all special attackers in the game. (Except Porygon-Z because it can OHKO it)
Loses to physical attackers whose attack does between 67% to 74% before defense boosts because they can 2HKO it through +2 Defense. (Super weird and specific)

Goodra:

- Strengths:
Autowin against most special attackers in the metagame like Volcarona, Primarina, Indeedee, etc.
Loses to almost every Physical attacker in the game. (Except Scizor and Ferrothorn)
Loses to Weakness Policy Aegislash and Weakness Policy Magnezone. (Big problem, explained later.)

Porygon-Z:

- Strengths:
Destroys pokemon with low base Special Defense.
Loses to special walls. (Assault Vest mons)
Loses to most ghost types. (Unless it outspeeds and OHKOs with shadow ball.)
Loses to scarfed Fighting Types.

The biggest problem with this team is that it gets 3-0d by Weakness Policy Aegislash and Magnezone. But, if you remove Pory-Z to use a mon that counters them, you get 3-0d by both forms of Urshifu. Scarfed Urshifu 3-0s the current iteration as well. Looking for some advice on improving this team, without removing Steelix.

Indeedee (M) @ Choice Scarf

Aegislash @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- King's Shield
- Iron Head
- Shadow Claw
- Shadow Sneak

Indeedee:
scarfed is surprisingly quite fast, expanding force with psychic terrain one shots most glass cannons, porygon-z, dracovish, dragapult. Also mystical fire is a nice touch against scizor and ferrothorn. Weakness are anything with good spdef, or any that resists expanding force.

Whimsicott:
Used to get rid of any stallers, basically if it can tank a hit and respond with leech seed then it gets the dub.

Aegislash:
Used the most of this team, quite versatile considering it can tank a hit and respond with devastating damage. Also a great tank for mons that would sweep the other 2, such as darmanitan galar.

Team weaknesses:
Any glass cannon fire type is a threat, hence the reason for occa berry on whimsicott. Only counter for weakness policy aegislash is aegislash himself? Definitely looking for some feedback on the team, open to swapping out any of the mons, just want to maintain a similar structure.

Any tips to improve these 2 teams?
First team:
Make cresselia bold instead of impish since you have no physical attacking moves. If you put 4 more evs in cresselia's hp it would have an hp of 420, which still unfortunately wouldn't stop the team from being 3-0 by specs regieleki:
252+ SpA Choice Specs Transistor Regieleki Thunder Cage vs. 156 HP / 0 SpD Cresselia: 214-253 (50.9 - 60.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after trapping damage
252+ SpA Choice Specs Transistor Regieleki Thunder Cage vs. +1 156 HP / 0 SpD Cresselia: 144-169 (34.2 - 40.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after trapping damage
50.9+34.2+24(trapping damage)=109%.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Transistor Regieleki Thunder vs. 232 HP / 0 SpD Genesect: 385-454 (112.9 - 133.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO(thunder can miss but don't count on it)

Also just generally, occa berry should be better on genesect for things like dragapult and jirachi, I don't know if I can currently think of anything that sitrus would help with.

Second team:
Custap primarina might help your matchup with crustle and/or aggron, I'm just gonna leave these here:

252+ Atk Choice Band Aggron Head Smash vs. 248 HP / 184 Def Primarina: 367-433 (101.1 - 119.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Aggron Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 36 Def Cradily: 566-668 (150.5 - 177.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Crustle Rock Wrecker vs. 248 HP / 184 Def Primarina: 357-420 (98.3 - 115.7%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO

Heatran is a nice mon, it beats genesect, regieleki, avalugg, necrozma, non band/LO galar darmanitan if you have a lot of defense investment, stall zapdos and jirachi unless you get flinched 20 times.

Occa genesect is occa genesect it kills everything.

Tapu koko beats every water type ever and both formes of urshifu, which are quite threatening to the rest of this team.

I peaked 1 million ELO with this team.

So celesteela eats scarf darmanitan-galar, rest in SpA! Giga impact on pheromosa is your volcarona answer, and then as the last I needed to beat AV Arcanine and Necrozma, so I had to use stall guzzlord! I am wondering if Crunch is the play as the last move, maybe you guys can find something better!

LRXC wanted me to build a Diggersby team, so I'm building one and showcasing it to yall :)

:ss/diggersby:
Diggersby @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 4 HP / 232 Atk / 40 SpD / 232 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Giga Impact
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Double Kick
Starting off strong, we have the goated bunny Diggersby. Giga Impact and Earthquake are its strong hitting STABs. I chose Ice Punch which notably hits Zygarde, Garchomp, and the Landorus forms for an OHKO. Double Kick is for Sturdy users, mostly Aggron.

:ss/venusaur:
Venusaur @ Wide Lens
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sleep Powder
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Sludge Bomb
I decided I wanted something that can beat Water, Fighting, and Fairy types, so I went with Venusaur. This mon can be ridiculous with the Sub + Leech Seed combination. I chose Sludge Bomb over Protect to hit Grass-types, and Fairy-types.

:ss/talonflame:
Talonflame (M) @ Kee Berry
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 192 HP / 252 Def / 64 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Flare Blitz
- Taunt
- Roost
The Genesect check, and ground immunity for this team. I chose it over Moltres because I felt like Taunt would be viable against certain defensive Pokémon. This Pokémon can be annoying in general because of Kee Berry and Will-O-Wisp, helping the matchup against Pokémon such as Rillaboom.

Enjoy!

Wouldn't Knock Off be preferable over Double Kick on Diggersby? Double Kick is mostly good vs aggron, zone, and some heatrans, which this team already has answers to, while Knock Off helps with the spectrier matchup (spectrier shuts venu down with taunt, beats talon by spamming hexes, and can beat diggersby with disable).

edit: whoops, of course it can't be taunt and disable both, even so it's useful not having to setguess spect

Ah you're right about that, I could go with Knock on Diggersby. Thanks for the suggestion.

Adamant Nature

- High Jump Kick
- Sucker Punch

I started with a core of av pert and scarf toge. However, the list of threats was quite long and there were many very different mons. But what beat them all, Raboot! The only shaky mu is band darm galar, some setguessing is required, however if you're lazy you can just click pert and he has a chance to beat band. Togekiss breaks stall and setup that beats swampert with trick/hax. Last but not least, Raboot covers the other's weaknesses, such as fini, kyurem and primarina. This team does rely on flinch hax against goodra but is overall extremely solid.
