Why do you think those specific starters were chosen? Do you like them? imo they chose it bc Cyndaquil from Gen 2 Oshawott from Gen 5 Rowlet from Gen 7 Pokemon 25 - gen 2, gen 5, gen 7, the 1st 2 gen numbers are 2 and 5, put them together and you get 25. 7 is just 2+5. i like them all.
