  1. Nuzlocke Challenge

I just got to Lilycove and confronted Maxie at Mt. Pyre. After training and beating an army of swimmers, I traveled to Fortree. I did some more grinding, and failed to catch any kekleons. Oh well. Winona was interesting. I taught rock tomb to Abdul, but after beating the trainers in the gym, I...
  2. Nuzlocke Challenge

More Updated Adventures of Quid VI Haven't played much recently until today, so here's my latest update. Sometime between the last update and now, i beat Flannery and Team Magma at the volcano. Machiavelli swept through team Magma, while Machiavelli and Nyrdak, my newly caught Numel, tag...
  3. Nuzlocke Challenge

@ Carbon: Thanks, I almost forgot about that. No worries, Machiavelli should be able to handle Vigoroth, along with cleaning up either Slaking.
  4. Nuzlocke Challenge

Updated Nuzlocke Adventures of Quid VI Much has happened since the last update. I did some grinding and left for Dewford. There, I caught Machiavelli the Makuhita and added him to my team. I also fished up Tariah the Tentacool, who was boxed. I did some grinding, evolving Theodore along the...
  5. Nuzlocke Challenge

Update: I entered The rustboro city gym quite underleveled. I figured Theodore the Treeko would be able to sweep everything, and this proved true, at least until I hit Roxanne's Nosepass. Then I discovered That Theodore could not take Nosepass alone, as Nosepass's damage output far exceeded...
  6. Nuzlocke Challenge

Aight, so I really wanted to do a Nuzlocke again, But my Leafgreen is currently being used for a Scramble challenge, and my gold cartidge's battery ran out or something, because it won't save. So, I'm resorting to going through my worst enemy, Ruby Version. So because I suck at Nuzlockes, I'm...
  7. Nuzlocke Challenge

Done with Ruby So I suck at Nuzlocke. I absolutely ate grinding, so I die quite often. This was my fifth Ruby Nuzlocke. Yeah, I lost four time before, twice to Flannery's Torkoal, once, to random Taillow crits before I even had three pokemon, and once to Whitney I think. This time, I was...
  8. Nuzlocke Challenge

So does this challenge require more grinding than I'm doing? Or just a lot more planning?
  9. Nuzlocke Challenge

Well, I just lost my second try of Ruby Nuzlocke. Flannery's Torkoal killed me so hard. Oh well, try 3.
  10. Nuzlocke Challenge

So I started a Ruby Nuzlocke challenge, with no healing items of any kind, and named myself Quideck. I started with Ricky the Torchic and caught no grass, fighting, or water pokemon. Roxanne killed me. I started another, naming myself Qid Jr, and chose Kippy the Mudkip. This run has been more...
  11. Nuzlocke Challenge

So do different floors of caves or buildings count as different areas?
  12. Nuzlocke Challenge

Aight, well I think I may end up losing, because I normally just play reckless. We shall see.
  13. Challenge The Scramble Challange

Well, that should be kinda difficult, I'm thinking. I'll start it sometime in the near future, but who knows how long it will take me once I get Fallout: New Vegas. Here's my challenge: Take Sammy the Mudkip. Sammy doesn't really like being a Water-type, so he refuses to use any Water-type...
  14. Nuzlocke Challenge

Hey, I was thinking of maybe doing this on Emerald in the future. Just wondering, should I expect to fail at least once? And also, is it possible to get through the E4 with no items?
  15. Challenge The Scramble Challange

Jansen: You get a Spearow, named Maverick, that likes to be unique. As such, it cannot evolve until it knows moves of four different types and defeats a gym leader's strongest pokemon to prove that its unique moveset is viable. Also, I'm driving to Seattle with my family the day after...
  16. Challenge The Scramble Challange

    Whew, that makes this easier.
  17. Challenge The Scramble Challange

So, for scramble challenges, are we allowed to have extra pokemon to use as HM slaves? I ask because I just got off the SS Anne in Leaf Green, and none of my pokemon can learn cut. And, looking at serebii's move lists, none of my assigned pokemon can ever learn cut. Also, Krabb, those are insane.
  18. Challenge The Scramble Challange

Update on my Leaf Green challenge. I just beat Misty, and have three pokemon. Rayne soloed misty by Mega Kicking Staryu and biting Starmie. This fulfilled his Wartortle requirement. I'm going to catch an Abra and go trade it for Mr. Mime as soon as I get cut. Rayne: lvl 21 Wartortle...
  19. Challenge The Scramble Challange

    Alright, time to start this.
  20. Challenge The Scramble Challange

Aight, thanks everyone. But a question first, if the posted challenge doesn't list an evolution requirement, I can evolve however I want, right? Also, if I want to post updates somewhere, where do I do that? Here's the challenge: Zoso, you get a Pidgey. This Pidgey can only use STAB moves...
