    That's not how counter works - whatever the last damage is can be 'countered', so counter should work when snorlax switches out. You can counter damage from your own moves.

    Counter isn't working: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen1ou-1931464108-fjtipogvgb216lzg1z8ybrcgrkndvbxpw On turn 4 I use counter which should 'counter' my explosion from turn 3, but it fails.
