This is a small point, but since Ordinary Keldeo with Secret Sword turns into Resolute Keldeo whenever it learns or forgets a move (or at the end of a battle), shouldn't there be certain move combinations that are illegal on Ordinary Keldeo? Basically, Secret Sword + any move it can only learn...

Sword & Shield Battle Mechanics Research

This is a very specific question, but in Marty's post on Shell Side Arm behavior he says that it ignores Wonder Room in terms of the base stats, so that it will still be a physical Shell Side Arm against a mon with naturally lower defense (assuming equal stats on the Slowbro) even in Wonder...

    Pokémon Movepool Oddities & Explanations

That's a bit weird because in the 97 beta, Ho-oh is pure Flying type. But maybe they changed its type before adding Lugia. Another thing is that Snubbull and Togepi are at the end of the dex, with no evolutions, which makes me feel like they were also created for the anime, specifically for...

Yeah, with Necrozma it was Confusion as well. With Kyurem it was Scary Face and with Rotom it's Thunder Shock.

From 52 damage to 82 seems like a 1.5x boost which is better than Adaptability (~1.33x)

Another video where something weird happens. At about 14:56, Joey notices that Dragapult isn't losing the appropriate amount of PP from Phantom Force into Pressure Corviknight. As you would expect, it's not losing PP for each turn of Phantom Force (both the "going up into the sky" turn and the...

Small Site Page Changes - (Typos, Poor Wording, Inaccuracies, Etc.)

The Stomping Tantrum description does not definitively say whether the damage is doubled if the Pokemon missed its attack on the previous turn (which yes, it does get doubled). Therefore, the part where it refers to "not including damage from an unsuccessful High Jump Kick, Jump Kick, or Mind...

Bug Reports v4 -- POST BUGS HERE https://www.smogon.com/forums/ps-bug-report-form/

In this video at timestamp 3:50, Magearna uses Volt Switch against a Golisopod that is below 50%. Previously, Mega Camerupt used a Sheer Force-boosted Earth Power against the Golisopod, bringing its HP to below 50%, so Emergency Exit did not activate. In the game, if this occurs then Emergency...

    Pokémon Galarian Slowbro

Oh I see, so screens and AV etc could also be a problem. It's still smarter than Photon Geyser but I wish it were even more "smart" so to speak.

From the way Shell Side Arm works, there will never be a circumstance where it does less damage than Sludge Bomb would have, unless you are Choice Specs, correct? So you would only run Sludge Bomb on a Specs set or because of the extra 10% poison chance, right?

I don't think that G-Max Wildfire and G-Max Volcalith are implemented correctly. They seem to only do 1/8th damage instead of 1/6th damage each turn, and I've seen Wildfire fail to do damage on the fourth turn when it should deal damage on all four turns.

Regarding Centiferno, I don't know if this has already been documented, but there is a quirk where the Fire Spin effect lasts for 4-5 turns even AFTER Centiskorch has fainted or is off the field, which is unlike actual Fire Spin or other partially trapping moves, unless they have been changed. I...
