The fact that this thing is a non-flying type (STEEL) with Defog is a niche all unto its own. Its good rain typing alongside that with its gargantuan attack means it will likely become a staple for the weather.

Rockium-Z with Stone Edge might be an interesting OO for the Ice and Flying types that are otherwise shaky matchups. Though giving up Life Orb for a Rock Nuke may not be worth it all the time.

I'm not clear on the details myself, but apparently TA/TW come from the Zygarde Cube when you choose the form you want to assemble the Mon in. Same case with DD and Extremespeed AFAIK.

Martin regarding the Splash set, do you think going max HP and swapping coverage for Morning Sun would also work, or would it be better to just go your route and try and blitzkrieg everything before you die?

Any thoughts on Rockium-Z as an OO? With Stone Edge its a powerful move that can hit the Ice, Flying, and to a lower extent, Bug types that would be otherwise shaky matchups.

Deo would still need someone to set up Terrain, and even then it only has a few turns to capitalize on it, assuming it gets in safely, and on top of that Psycho Boost is not something spammable even in the *1.5 power environment because of the recoil. I fail to see your point on how Psychic Terrain differentiates Deoxys and Pheromosa. Even Deo-N, the worst Deoxys form was Uber before Psychic Terrain was a thing, and it has a far worse ability and STAB than Pheromosa.

In all honesty, is there really any reason to not run Naive on this thing? Its defenses are so middling that even without the SpD drop it'll die to almost anything worth a damn and theres far fewer special priority moves to hit you first. Maybe Specs/Band set, but beyond that Naive seems to be...

Is there anything relevant that may incentivize it to go mixed or fully special as a gimmick? 113 SpA isn't that bad and it learns a few good special moves like Fire Blast and Thunder (maybe if you wanted to use it in the rain?). Work Up may also help with this...
