GSC In-Game Tier List Mk. IV

That's reasonable IMO. Admittedly I didn't factor in the necessity of its utility, it's just convenient to have compressed into one mon when you need any of the main 3. But yeah, that makes sense, and I do think it could do better than D-tier, C sounds fine to me

GSC In-Game Tier List Mk. IV

out of curiosity, how much does out-of-battle utility count for? I think Paras is an S-class in utility, since it can get Cut, Flash, Rock Smash, and.... Sweet Scent (it's another OOB skill at least, the only other one it gets IIRC) all on one mon, it's available early, and most mons that get...

    Pokémon Alola Marowak

THANK you. Now that you mention it, I seem to recall Chansey being one of the Pokemon that Fire Punch Wak couldn't do $#!7 against. You're thinking of Marowak as a tank, which it is-- sort of. The problem is that Marowak's longevity is already somewhat dubious when Rocks are on the field, it...

    Pokémon Alola Marowak

Maybe I'm using Wak wrong but Fire Punch has been anything but reliable for me. -shrug-

    Pokémon Alola Marowak

Honestly that's even less reason to use FP > FB, then. IDR exact matchups/scenarios, but I distinctly recall multiple instances were Fire STAB was what I needed and Fire Punch wasn't doing remotely close to enough damage to feel useful/threatening.

    Pokémon Celesteela

Has anyone tried Specs Celesteela? I tossed Celesteela onto a team I made as filler and had no idea what set to go with; saw Beast Boost and thought 'specs' for some reason so I gave that a go. Celesteela @ Specs 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD (could probably use a more precise spread as far...

    Pokémon Alola Marowak

Having used Fire Punch for a bit over Flare Blitz, I can wholeheartedly say that it is garbage. Even on Adamant/max attack. Yeah, Flare Blitz might come with the according cost, but Fire Punch just does NOT have the power to get the job done. It's just too weak. Marowak NEEDS Flare Blitz to be...

    Pokémon Alola Marowak

I think they were talking about general use of Alolawak's main set (the lightningrod offensive pivot), not necessarily aiming that comment directly at your set. Might be wrong but that's the impression I get.

Sun / Moon In-Game Tier List

There you might have me, in an efficiency run played through all at once, getting them all efficiently would require one to start playing late enough in the day that the time comes in around late Ula'ula so they can all be quickly grabbed once the day changes. Point conceded.

Sun / Moon In-Game Tier List

Twice for Melemele once I got Charizard fly, and a sweep over the next two islands once each for the time of day that I didn't play through it. IDK if we're factoring in online guides that tell where to get the cells and whether they're time-of-day specific, but it didn't take me that long to...

Sun / Moon In-Game Tier List

As someone who made the effort to collect as many of the cells as possible as quickly as possible, I would say Zyg-50 isn't that bad, you only have to backtrack on Melemele since you can pretty much find them as you go on the others (with the exception of the night/day ones). I haven't gotten...

    Pokémon Tapu Koko

As far as I know, max Atk/Speed is what you want for EVs. For attacks, Wild Charge + Brave Bird + U-turn should be the core moves of your set (Stab/coverage/avoiding Dugtrio trappage), and then you can throw in any of several moves for the last slot, including Mirror Move like Justin suggests...

Sun / Moon In-Game Tier List

Oh hell. I guess I did just get ungodly lucky o___o Well damn now I regret not using it in my most recent run to contribute to its potential viability xD Not that it would likely matter much with an availability like that.

Wait.... is this really how long it's supposed to take?? I caught mine in like 15 minutes :0 Did I just get lucky?

    Pokémon Lurantis

Honestly man (and there may be those who disagree, but) I really think you're better off just going physical with this sucker. Its coverage isn't perfect, but it's definitely simpler to use and not 100% outclassed by contrary serp.

    Pokémon Nihilego

I love how bizarre its typing is, personally. It's the only UB to get a unique typing as well, IIRC.

Sun / Moon In-Game Tier List

The only problem is that Shellder and Cloyster can't learn Scald. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Go figure. I was surprised too. Yeah honestly I was excited to have Roost on my Decidueye, but especially lategame it's actually really hard to find times to use it :0 Maybe this is reflective more of Ciddy's typing but...

    Pokémon Tapu Bulu

IDK, to me Bulu doesn't seem like the type of mon you want to let that Attack stat go to waste on. I feel like Horn Leech or Wood Hammer is probably still what you want over Nature's Madness even on that spread, at least in theory. NM seems like a move better suited to Koko and esp Fini.

    Pokémon Nihilego

I'd love to see some replays of this in action if you've got anything. Sounds interesting.

    Pokémon Porygon-Z

Is toxic really an issue in doubles? I thought it was kind of more fast-paced so poison isn't as much of an issue... but granted I don't play a lot of doubles so perhaps I wouldn't know.
