I'm afraid that doesn't work. That's what I wanted to find out for myself, but the guest version of yourself from the other game, is what seems to be a direct clone of the one you're playing as at the time, right down to your current outfit & whatever you currently have as your first facility.

Steel With It Upon seeing your post I tried again. Turns out I can use my aforementioned Kangaskhan on Battle Spot now (at least in the Free modes, anyway), since I got past the team selection screen this time. =)

They raise the critical-hit ratio by 2 stages. I've tested this with Aerodactyl using Z-Tailwind and Stone Edge against wild Pokémon. Stone Edge was used over 10 times, and a critical hit always landed when the move didn't miss.

If Oranguru's partner holds the Metronome item, uses its attacking move, and gets Instructed to use its move a 2nd time, does Metronome apply the damage increase multiplier on the attack's 2nd use? Or does Metronome (again, the item) not kick in until the next turn?

Dark Void was changed, it will now fail if used by any Pokemon other than Darkrai, even if they have it available in their moves (just like Hoopa-Unbound and Hyperspace Fury). Too bad for Smeargle.
