It's bulk can sometimes make it too difficult to force out with offensive mons, and then defensively when you try to counter it with Slowbro/Toxapex, they might fail to handle Melmetal just because Double Iron Bash has a very high chance to flinch slower targets. After that, the defensive player is suddenly forced into a tough position and then they have to retry the process all over again.
