Welcome to the first edition of the ORAS OU Ladder Tournament! The Hosts Ithi, Alpha1013, Akeras and myself are more than honoured to fulfil the wish of the community true and make this Tournament happen. With all the new inventions in ORAS OU from Smogon Premier League XV the metagame is in a dynamic spot and we hope you can enjoy experimenting with all the tools you got on the ladder.
The first Cycle starts on Sunday, the 31st of March at 10pm GMT +2 and ends on Sunday the 7th of April at 7am GMT +2. Further Information will be posted in the Cycles Thread of the Tournament and updated in this Thread once the Tour will officially start!

Everyone who is kind enough to donate will be added to the Contributors unless wanting to remain anonymously.
General Tournament Rules
- This is a standard ORAS OU tournament
- This will be a Ladder Tournament into Single Elimination, Best of Three, Top 16 Playoffs
- You need to make a new alt account for this tournament. Your alt name must begin with a given Prefix which will be released and explained with the start of the tournament.
- The ladder portion of the tournament spans 4 cycles lasting roughly 7 days each. The cutoff times for each cycle are listed below; at the cutoff time, one of the moderators will take a screenshot of the ladder. In order to qualify for the playoffs, your alt must be among the top 4 newly made alts in thr screenshot. If a player in the top 4 of a given cycle is already qualified, their alt will be ignored when counting the top 4 alts for that cycle. Cycles will have adjusted end times to give players from different regions and timezones a better chance at being on at the end of the cycle.
- In order to break potential ties, the unrounded ELO of each player who qualifies in a given cycle will be recorded in order to break any potential ties. - For the playoffs stage, players will be seeded by their ELO at their respective screenshot time
