i wanted to mention magearna as being a possible suspect test. i haven't had any trouble or experience besides maybe one game off the top of my head with zygarde-complete but a lot with magearna. while it has counters, it seems impossible to win against it WITHOUT running a counter as mentioned...

why beat up? wouldn't rock blast be better due to resistance?

what are popular cores that people are looking to run? i've suggested bulu + incineroar but i haven't seen a lot else, i've also been intrigued by the idea of running a prankster mon with swagger and the fairy mushroom with strength sap for extra sapping action.

add on to this, what was the nerf to confusion if there is one? something to do with the % chance you'll hit yourself/hit the enemy?

is swagger allowed in doubles? i could actually see a niche set with something fast that hits with swagger and then shiintoc hitting with strength sap. i doubt it would be that great, but it's still a niche duo that i could see being used.
