I think there's some real interesting changes being made with the online battles this season. It seems like the "main" mode is more like the Special Battle rules seen in Gen VI and VII. Not only that, but it seems to shift monthly instead of the bimonthly changes seen for Special Battle rules...

I bet that Dragapult will get Shadow Claw, given that it already gets Dragon Claw, and there's typically some movepool expansions with the release of every game. Sort of like how Blastoise did get Shell Smash, even if it took a few generations since the move's debut. I think it'll get Crunch...

I see. But for G-Max Moves, I thought that their effects (inflicting status, healing, or buffing the critical hit ratio) were guaranteed? And even for a move like G-Max Malodor, wouldn't it still hit both opponents in a double battle, and maybe only inflicting poison on the targeted specimen...

I thought HA Zapdos & Moltres were illegal on the BSS since they're only available via the Gen I VC games - so why do I see a sizable percentage for their use on the PGL usage stats page? Does the hack-checker not check for illegal abilities, and just for illegal moves?
