  1. VGC '11 US National - Indianapolis - July 8th to 10th - WON by superwolfe & Cybertron

Due to not being able to get a ride up, I will not be participating in this year's LCQ (and hopefully Nats). Good luck to everyone going and who qualified, I look forward to some great videos hopefully as awesome as the Atlanta final. See you guys in next year's circuit.
  2. VGC '11 US National - Indianapolis - July 8th to 10th - WON by superwolfe & Cybertron

If I get the chance I'll be there for LCQ. Can't end this year's VGC season on two crits and a freeze, and I'll be able to adjust my team, too. No confirmation yet, though. =(
  3. My Little Pokemans: VGCs are Magic (Atl Warstory ITT)

I concur that you should write a warstory about your sun team. Also Killah you stole my thunder, now I can't write a ragestory. Oh well, I'll just figure out how to counter my weaknesses better if we end up LCQing at Indy. I wish I'd had time to make my pokécamp shirt and be cool too. Great...
  4. VGC '11 US Southeast Regional - Atlanta, GA - WON BY TheCaptainFalcon & Maski

Got hax'd out of the tournament in round 2. Two crits and a freeze, I know I should've at least gone one more round in. LCQs it is! Ragestory later possibly. Was fun hanging out with Killah and Mingot for most of the afternoon though, great time guys. Look forward to being more active. Masters...
  5. VGC '11 US Southeast Regional - Atlanta, GA - WON BY TheCaptainFalcon & Maski

I'll be attending in Master's along with three other people from Nashville. It'll be good to get back into competitive battling, and it's nice that it's reasonably close.
  6. Suikoden Tierkreis and Valkyrie Profile: Covenent of the Plume

The general rule of thumb I've been hearing is this: Tierkreis has more content, but it's a spinoff game (not connected to canon) and it has the funny quirk of all the voice acting being sped up so it fits on the DS flash card. Turn based battles, also. VPDS is shorter, but it has a better...
  7. Boss Battles: Which is your favorite of all time?

Oh man. It's a three way tie for me. First is Luca Blight in Suikoden II. Not only do you go the entire game HATING him, but first you have a war battle against him, then you fight him three times with seperate squads to pick off his bodyguards and weaken him, THEN you trick him into picking...
  8. What is the hardest Video Game you have ever played?

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne on any difficulty. Argh. Also I would agree with any bullet hell game. Guitar Hero on expert is easy once you get the hang of it... Trauma Center's pretty bad, too.
  9. tales of the abyss

I love this game, but the whole interlude between the two story arcs totally killed my urge to finish it. =/ Definitely one of the better Tales games though. I just wish that there were more party members.
  10. coolest bad guy in a video game?

Luca Blight, anyone? http://www.rpgamer.com/games/suiko/suik2/art/suik2-116.gif (Don't want to direct link) Pretty much the most compelling RPG bad guy ever. DIE PIG!
  11. ITT, you share your upcoming schedule for the Fall of 2007 school year

Senior in college, CS. Senior Project Study of Programming Languages Introduction to TV Production (woo minor) Newswriting I Physical Science (woo easy lab science) Badminton I was going to take statistics, but I think I'm going to drop it until next semester because Senior Project and TV...
  12. College or Work?

Go to college unless you like screwing on the same screw every day or asking "Would you like fries with that?" A lot of businesses can't/won't advance someone without a degree as much as they can someone who does. It doesn't even have to be a good degree, you just need the sheet of paper.
  13. Gamestop Tournament Aftermath / Hopes Thread

Wasn't Arceus supposed to be unusable in this tournament?
  14. Making Little Kids Cry 101 (GameStop Warstory)

Some walmarts will write your name down so that you can only do this once every six months (mine does) but you can just get someone else to do it for you, haha... I enjoy seeing Snorlax in so many posts.
  15. programmers unite

I'm a 21 year old senior CS major (I don't wanna graduate!) and had absolutely no experience with programming whatsoever before starting school. Since then I've had two jobs programming and being a co-system administrator for some factories over the summer (IS SUCKS ARGHGGHGHGHGH i d 10 t errors...
