I don't think Energy Ball is very helpful coverage. It is less than half as strong than tera STAB Moonblast and still weaker than neutral Moonblast when SE, so it will only be better against 4x weaknesses that Moonblast already hits neutrally anyway, and it can't benefit in any other matchup...
