Tapler
The next slate will not start just yet. We plan on having a few playtesting tours, not only to test the most recent mons, but so that players may get an overall grasp of what the metagame currently would appreciate being added, so that we may have a worthy Final Slate.
That isn't all though! If you've been following the discord, you'd know that FERU and FEUULC are being conceptualised as we speak! FERU is to be the spiritual successor to FEUU, containing essentially the same rules but a lower power level. FEUULC, on the other hand, will not have submissions, but rather is a spin-off based on our fusions created here in UU. Simply put, fusions where both parents have an LC will translate into FEUULC by the LC Components being fused (For an example, Maroligatr-Alola would mean the metagame has Cubone/Totodile as an available mon).
LC is still relatively early in production, so stay tuned for news! For now, discuss the current metagame as a whole; write out what you think are the most relevant mons, what could recieve buffs, and overall what you feel about the current state of the meta!
Good set of winners! Very wrong on my predictions for matching council to submission.
I'm still not loving Egg-Prime since sun already has a few abusers as is, but I guess it has the worst setter to balance it out.
Poryrigus sounds potentially good. I think I'm mostly just intrigued but it since it's from Earl and his ideas are flames.
Golisotops will be so fun. I love Golisopod and this looks like a full upgrade.
Looking forward to playtesting time and I expect a very competitive Slate 21!
egg is the fifth sun abuser in the meta. i don't see what new things it brings to the table other than funny berry gimmicks. im not convinced by gluke's designation of it as a bulky psychic breaker because of its weird defensive typing and only average bulk. i dont think its that considerable on trick room teams either because of it stacking dark and ghost weaknesses, something tr teams usually have.
porygrigus is ok. earl picks good drops so this is not surprising.
i agree with gluke's take on golisotops. weak armor is very bad on this mon, the ability should be reworked to something like the effects of weak armor (-1 def +2 spe) activating upon reaching 50% hp.
overall though these mons do not excite me at all really. every other slate usually has some kind of saving grace mon (glidol in slate 8 against absolute ghoul brontun and mediocre snortine, roaramp-mega in slate 15 with mediocre leafdon, aurorona in slate 18 with absolute ghoul ninelands-alola and mediocre keclyrex-shadow). this slate just ain't it for me. hopefully last slate will have a happy ending.
Hello everyone, council member earl here to go through the extensive amount of balance changes we have made after playtesting the recent slates. Expect a lot of changes in the metagame after this!
Nerfs
Primal Kyottler:BANNED
Kyottler and its Primal variant have been consistent top-tier threats since they came into the metagame. By banning Primal Kyot we hope to reduce Kyot's overall versatility and give other weathers a lot more breathing room.
95/135/85/84/85/95 -> 110/135/85/84/85/80
While Darmearna had a good showing, it wasn't impossible to handle defensively and had some 4mss. A major speed nerf should make it less of a menace against offense and force Shift Gear sets more often.
->
90/102/90/110/90/110 -> 87/110/90/110/90/105
Ability Change: Snow Warning + Sand Force (Snow Warning effects. This Pokemon's Steel, Rock, and Ground-type moves deal 1.3x damage under hail.)
Ninelands could brutalize slower teams with its incredible triple STAB, great speed tier, and NP. This nerf is intended to slow it down and force it to run boots, reducing its threat level significantly. The new typing also removes the Fairy STAB from the picture, and just makes it a lot more fragile overall.
78/95/93/115/93/101 ->78/113/93/117/93/81
Tyranette-Eternal was simply too fast for the degree of consistent power it brought to a team. This nerf harshly reduces its speed while boosting its attack significantly. This should make it much easier to handle from the get-go but gives players the option to run physical Head Smash sets as a surprise option.
80/100/80/67/80/102 -> 90/100/80/67/80/92
Dredvul's solid speed tier made it a bit too consistent when it came to forcing switches. Another slight speed nerf puts Dredvul below the crowded base 100 tier (and slightly below Glidol) while keeping it faster than its consistently-stronger cousin Bruxray.
Yacian has always struggled due to its deceptively-poor bulk, lacking utility movepool, and, most importantly, its incredibly awkward sub-90 speed tier. Things only got worse for it as fellow ability-nullifiers Weezlord and Porygrigus established their niches in the metagame. A huge Speed buff alongside a slight attack boost should cement Yacian's niche as the offensive Pillage user.
->
78/102/99/102/71/111 -> 88/102/99/92/71/111
Xotalion was actually quite good in the earlier eras of FEUU, but has been clearly power-crept as time has gone on. This buff grants Xotalion a much better typing and a decent HP boost in order to keep it defensively useful while reflecting Knock Offs. It also maintains its decent offensive presence with access to CC+SD. Unfortunately it does not have Brave Bird, but it didn't use its Psychic STAB either so its mostly a wash.
Kingstar has been mediocre since this mod's inception. Therefore, we're finally doing it: Sheer Force. This makes Kingstar undoubtedly one of the strongest physical attackers the mod has to offer, but a large speed reduction and Kingstar's same old movepool issues (do you run Power Whip or Trop Kick now?) still exist. It also threatens the viability of the weaker Maroligatr-Alola, but that Pokemon has Dragon Dance, a much better secondary STAB, better bulk, and priority on its side.
100/90/95/90/95/75 -> 115/80/90/95/90/75
Silvino sucks, and probably will always suck until we snap and give it Regen+RKS system. But for the time being here's a slight bulk+special attack boost.
Ability Change: Now gives Normal-type attacks 1.5x power in addition to the current effects.
Stoudrago has been irrelevant ever since Weezlord dropped and the meta as a whole got a lot faster. This buff doesn't really fix those issues, but it does force in Weezlord more consistently and gives you the funniest Explosion ever.
There was really no reason you had to go mega in order to get Hail going with Glasnow. This change amends that.
101/123/100/70/90/91 -> 100/120/95/65/90/105
Garborude has always shown promise, but crappy speed and no access to Knock Off has always made it a bit of a hard sell on a lot of teams. Therefore we're significantly boosting its Speed to 105, which outspeeds Mesflame and anything below. It should be a much more consistent offensive spiker or scarfer after this change.
89/89/83/107/89/113 -> 91/89/83/121/83/103
Accelest suffered as an Unburden sweeper due to its subpar power even after a Meteor Beam. This stat change aims to fix that with a huge Special Attack increase at the cost of its mostly-irrelevant Speed stat.
86/132/78/82/80/119 -> 82/132/76/82/76/128
The meta simply isn't kind to Strikados and its crippling fear of Glidol. We can't really fix that matchup, but we can at least finally maximize its Speed stat.
94/125/87/100/90/85 -> 84/122/82/110/82/101
Tornachamp was always intented to function as a NP breaker, but 100/85 offenses simply were not up to par in FEUU and it never really saw any play. With a large special attack and speed boost (placing it above the all-important base 100 benchmark) it should be a much more appealing pick.
Gigacrab isn't bad, it's just a bit hard to justify over Pincuchitar or Lycanserker at the moment. A slight ability buff will make Gigacrab's Drain Punches hit for more (and therefore heal more) and ensure that Ice Hammer can snipe Glidol, significantly boosting the consistency of the Assault Vest set. Try it out!
Ability Change: Battle Theme (Serene Grace+Stance Change, before using a move with a secondary effect, changes to Ranged Form. Before using a move without a secondary effect, changes to Melee Form. Secondary effects have their chance to trigger doubled.)
Meloslash has never been very good. Adding Serene Grace's normal effects to the ability should at least give the ranged form a bit more to work with.
130/85/70/85/130/51 -> 130/80/70/90/130/51
A mild special attack boost should make Snortine the slightest bit less passive.
Ability Change: Therapeutic (Unburden + Poison Heal, Poison Heal effects. When held item is lost, this Pokemon poisons itself)
Slurpum's current ability was effectively just Poison Heal. This new ability allows it to run a few consumable items over Toxic Orb. You're welcome Bobsican
(oh god the light it burns) Ability Change: Sand Rush (Sand Veil+Unburden)
Base Chomplin should now have a niche on Sand teams, which could use a few more abusers anyways. Win-Win!
70/109/72/109/72/121 -> 69/109/72/109/72/122
+1 Speed allows Miemie to outspeed Zerclef.
REWORKS
70/125/95/60/80/95 -> 75/120/100/69/70/91 Ability Change: Acceleration (Speed Boost+Defiant, Speed Boost effects, 2 Speed when a stat is lowered.)
Scolisharp just wasn't a good defog blocker at all. So we are changing how it works entirely, and making it into a Speed Boost sweeper. It is definitely a very large change (and likely an extreme buff), so we will be keeping an eye on this change specifically.
We're killing off some of Arctovic's (rarely-utlizied) defensive presence in order to make it also function as a Hail abuser.
Fix: Now enters the field in Meteor form, as originally intended.
Due to a typo on my original submission this mon has never functioned as intended before this balance patch.
86/90/110/60/115/65 -> 86/83/110/70/115/62
Ability Change: Hivemind (Swarm+Clear Body, Clear Body effects. This Pokemon is immune to Bug-type attacks.)
Mega Regibee was preforming a bit too well, so a slight Attack+Speed nerf is warranted. However, base Regibee is recieving a buff in the form of a Bug-type immunity. It can now block U-Turn!
Ability Change: Anatidaephobia (Scrappy + Perish Body; Scrappy effects. Hitting a foe with Normal or Fighting move applies Perish Song to foe.)
Sirsola kind of blows, so this change at least gives it a very interesting niche as the "Pokemon that can technically OHKO anything (minus Weezlord)".
Thornbro's new statline emphasizes its main difference over Tanette- an incredible specially-offensive movepool and access to NP. The ability change gives Thornbro access to actual Regenerator, so the bulk was mostly nerfed to ensure its not unbeatable.
Ability Change: Swift Retreat (Emergency Exit+Swift Swim, component effects combined)
A physical rain abuser is a currently unexplored niche and the previous ability was slightly nonsensical.
80/80/79/103/105/116 -> 80/80/79/112/109/103 Mega Tapu-Lop: UNBANNED (Stats: 80/140/89/112/109/133)
Another shoutout to Bobsican Tapu Lop-Mega is freed, with some significant speed reduction. This change will be monitored very closely, as it's not hard at all to see how Tapu Lop-Mega could be broken. However, its anti-offense attributes may end up being a net positive for the metagame, so let's try it out and see.
And that's all of the changes for now. Given it is a pretty massive balance change, we will have a short discussion phase before submissions open. Any changes you're excited about? Disagree with? Tapu Lop? Discuss below!
Amazing! Shout outs to the council for these fire changes.
Particularly excited to try out Mega Lop. I have been wanting it for a while and I'm glad it's here. It should be really fun. My BFF Regibee also loves its subtle buff giving it a free switch on a predicted U-Turn.
Not even sure what to sub for the last slate but I know it's going to be amazing.
DNA Donors: Garchomp / Skarmory Fusion Name: Skarchomp New Types:
Base Stats: 90 / 110 / 121 / 80 / 80 / 90 [BST: 571] (+4 HP / +5 Atk / +4 Def / +20 SpA / +3 SpD / +4 Spe) New Ability: Rough Vision = (Keen Eye + Rough Skin) Ability Description: Rough Skin effects. The user can't have its evasion lowered, if this would happen, the opponent loses 1/8 of max HP Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Iron Head, Body Press, Stone Edge, Dragon Tail
Scorching Sands, Steel Beam
Stealth Rock, Spikes, Roost, Swords Dance, Whirlwind Intended Role: Physical Wall, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock, Spikes), Setup Sweeper Role Justification: Hazard removal is so easy in this meta some countermeasure that doesn't go overboard isn't a bad idea, its typing and ability not only force the opponent to get chipped whenever Defog or Rapid Spin are used, it also punishes pivoting in U-Turn decently.
While there's a ton of Steel types already and all, its characteristics allow it to do some things the current options can't, most notably being a consistent switch-in to Arctovic (Not even fearing Low Kick, always being 3HKO'd after SR), and being a more defensive alternative compared to Yacian. The mega evolution also acts as a good alternative for sand teams, especially with both of its STABs abusing Sand Force.
Physically Defensive Electric type with a fat mega and tons of coverage
DNA Donors: Aggron / Togedemaru Fusion Name: Toggron New Types:
Base Stats: 80 / 110 / 130 / 50 / 66 / 85 [BST: 521] (+13 HP / +6 Atk / +9 Def / +0 SpA / +0 SpD / +12 Spe) New Ability: Heavy Barbs = (Heavy Metal + Iron Barbs) Ability Description: Contact with the user causes the attacker to lose 1/4 of max HP Notable Moves:
Iron Head, Zing Zap, Nuzzle, Body Press, U-Turn, Ice Punch, Earthquake, Fire Punch
Volt Switch
Stealth Rock, Wish, Spiky Shield
DNA Donors: Mega Aggron / Togedemaru Fusion Name: Mega Toggron New Types:
Base Stats: 80 / 140 / 180 / 50 / 86 / 85 [BST: 621] (+13 HP / +36 Atk / +59 Def / +0 SpA / +20 SpD / +12 Spe) New Ability: Filter Ability Description: The user takes 3/4 of damage from super effective attacks
Intended Role: Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Physical Wall, Defensive Pivot, Wallbreaker Role Justification: With epic bulk and consistent chip resource out of its ability, Toggron steps in as a solid physically defensive Electric type that punishes moves like U-Turn and Knock Off, which is an unique niche at the moment, coming with as much coverage it could want, and semi-reliable recovery in Wish + Spiky Shield also allows it to be used long-term. A mega that raises its bulk further in exchange for its Steel typing is also an alternative for teams that need a defensive mega that can check physical Steel, Electric and Flying types like Lycanserker-Dusk, Zerclef and M-Vullacham.
DNA Donors: Golisopod / Drampa Fusion Name: Golimpa New Types:
Base Stats: 80 / 95 / 120 / 115 / 95 / 40 [BST: 545] (+4 HP / +3 Atk / +8 Def / +18 SpA / +5 SpD / +2 Spe) New Ability: Berserk Exit = (Berserk + Emergency Exit) Ability Description: The user switches out when its SpA has a stat change Notable Moves:
Knock Off
Draco Meteor, Bug Buzz, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower
Roost, Spikes, Glare Intended Role: Hazard Setter (Spikes), Physical Wall, Wallbreaker, Defensive Pivot Role Justification: While it's slow and struggles against Fairy and Steel types at times, Golimpa packs the coverage to nuke them, although it can appreciate Noze support to nuke the Steel types on its way. Anyways, Draco Meteor thanks to the ability becomes a solid pivoting move, and it can abuse the switches it can force by setting Spikes instead, or crippling them with Glare on the switch.
Resubs that I'm sure the current meta could appreciate as well:
Sussy imposter mon? Want another mon that can alternatively support rain too? The answer is here
DNA Donors: Ditto / Blastoise Fusion Name: Dittoise New Types:
Base Stats: 63 / 65 / 85 / 70 / 84 / 80 [BST: 447] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +11 Def / +4 SpA / +8 SpD / +17 Spe) New Ability: Fake Dish = (Imposter + Rain Dish) Ability Description: On switch-in, the user transforms if rain isn't active
DNA Donors: Ditto / Mega Blastoise Fusion Name: Mega Dittoise New Types:
Base Stats: 63 / 85 / 105 / 120 / 94 / 80 [BST: 547] (+0 HP / +20 Atk / +31 Def / +54 SpA / +18 SpD / +17 Spe) New Ability: Mega Launcher Ability Description: User's pulse moves are boosted by x1.5. Heal Pulse heals by 75% of max HP
Notable Moves:
Rapid Spin
Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere
Shell Smash Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Choice Scarf, Revenge Killer Role Justification: Base form does Ditto stuff, heavily supporting offensive teams, and while the mega is locked to rain teams, it is usable as a somewhat scary setup sweeper, although its bulk isn't something to write home about.
DNA Donors: Shiinotic / Vileplume Fusion Name: Shiinoplume New Types:
Base Stats: 92 / 67 / 97 / 115 / 100 / 45 [BST: 516] (+25 HP / +5 Atk / +15 Def / +15 SpA / +5 SpD / +5 Spe) New Ability: Effect Spore = (Effect Spore + Effect Spore) Ability Description: 30% chance of poison/paralysis/sleep on others making contact with this Pokemon. Notable Moves:
… it has 67 attack.
… Moonblast, Sludge Bomb
… Strength Sap, Aromatherapy, Spore, Leech Seed Intended Role: Mixed Wall Role Justification: A Poison/Fairy type with recovery options like Strength Sap that serves as a half-passive Moonblast/Sludge Bomb attacker with Effect Spore and Spore for crippling enemies. It has a decent Special Attack stat so it can deal effective damage as well, but it dies against Steel-types, mainly Hattaka, and fast Psychic-types, but on the bright side it would be able to fight a fair matchup against Weezlord-Galar and most Fighting-types, save for Miemie as that is also a fast psychic type. It would also have to be careful around Ground-types, considering it is weak against them.
Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Recover, Trick Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker, Mixed Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot Role Justification: huge movepool man. v wide coverage options and access to setup on both sides as well as recover to shore up its already decent bulk. grass/normal is not exactly a great offensive typing and its offenses are quite middling which should hold it back
psychic/ground mixed wallbreaker
DNA Donors: Deoxys / Mudsdale Fusion Name: Deodale New Types:
Base Stats: 79 / 137 / 79 / 102 / 79 / 112 [BST: 588] (+4 HP / +0 Atk / +4 Def / +0 SpA / +12 SpD / +20 Spe) New Ability: Ivermectin = (Pressure + Stamina) Ability Description: If this Pokemon is the target of a move, its Defense is raised by 1 stage. Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Knock Off, Stone Edge, Close Combat, Extreme Speed
Psycho Boost, Earth Power, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt
Stealth Rock, Spikes, Nasty Plot Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker, Mixed Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock, Spikes) Role Justification: nice offenses, has p good coverage for stuff like glidol/kyottler/tanette/corveot. lack of very useful ability is a bit awkward ig
electric/normal mixed wallbreaker/offensive pivot
DNA Donors: Xurkitree / Ursaring Fusion Name: Xurkaring New Types:
Base Stats: 97 / 113 / 83 / 127 / 73 / 71 [BST: 574] (+11 HP / +4 Atk / +10 Def / +3 SpA / +10 SpD / + 2 Spe) New Ability: Beast Boots = (Beast Boost + Quick Feet) Ability Description: If this Pokemon is statused, its Speed is 1.5x; ignores stat drops to its highest non-HP stat from status. Notable Moves:
Facade, Close Combat, Earthquake, Ice Punch, Crunch, Power Whip, Wild Charge
Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Focus Blast
Calm Mind, Swords Dance Intended Role: Mixed Wallbreaker, Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot Role Justification: big mixed mon effectively having 113/127/131 offenses. being an electric with coverage for basically everything is cool besides the fact that it introduces 4mss. think of it like phero but less offenses/worse coverage/no beast boost/no qd
grass/electric extremely fast special wallbreaker (kind of resub)
DNA Donors: Celebi / Electrode Fusion Name: Electrobi New Types:
Base Stats: 80 / 75 / 90 / 110 / 90 / 140 [BST: 585] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +5 Def / +20 SpA / +0 SpD / +15 Spe) New Ability: Snake Oiler = (Natural Cure + Soundproof) Ability Description: Effects of both abilities. Notable Moves:
U-Turn
Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Earth Power, Dazzling Gleam
Nasty Plot, Recover, Stealth Rock Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot Role Justification: galvabi but its a lot faster but has no webs. earl said it was dumb so this is the replacement.

Knock Off, U-Turn
Sludge Bomb, Hurricane, Heat Wave
Stealth Rock, Roost Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Special Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock) Role Justification: could be fast af, could be strong. its offensive typing is lackluster so that sucks though.
DNA Donors: Rhyperior / Cradily Fusion Name: Rhydily New Types:
Base Stats: 115 / 130 / 115 / 68 / 84 / 41 [BST: 553] (+15 HP / +20 Atk / +2 Def / +0 SpA / +3 SpD / +0 Spe) New Ability: Wavebreaker = (Solid Rock + Storm Drain) Ability Description: effects of both abilities Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Stone Edge
Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Recover Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock) Role Justification: rhyperior with recovery. you get bonus points for being immune to scald.

Normally I don't do many resubs, but because this is the final slate of FEUU, I've decided to give one last chance to some of my favourite creations from throughout the mod's history that didn’t make the cut.
Ability: Sleep Paralysis = Comatose + Static Ability Description: This Pokemon cannot be statused, and is considered to be Paralyzed. (Compared to Comatose, this buffs Facade and prevents Sleep Talk + phasing, among other more minor interactions.)
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Hazard Removal, Setup Sweeper, Status Absorber
Komados was my first sub to FEUU, and because the mod's power level hadn't really been established at the time, I wanted to make sure that it was something that could never be bad. Koma's main gimmick is a physical STAB Boomburst in the form of Sleep Paralysis Facade, giving it a nuke up its sleeve with very little downside. With a very versatile toolset, from setup to pivoting to recovery to hazard removal, this thing can basically run any three moves it wants to and Facade will make them work. The downsides are its middling stats, an awful type combo, 4MSS, and a lack of strong non-recoil Electric STAB, but make no mistake, this mon is still a threat 19 slates later.
Ability: Toxic Relationship = Corrosion + Storm Drain Ability Description: Corrosion effects. This Pokemon cannot be poisoned. When this Pokemon poisons another Pokemon, its SpA is raised by 1 stage.
I doubt anyone remembers this one considering it's gone the longest without being resubbed, but the funny special Smokomodo is back, now with Corrosion effects to help it out in the current meta. Fire/Ground is pretty great offensively right now, and Saladon capitalizes on it well. Recover and immunities to Poisoning, Burn, and TWave make it difficult for walls to KO or cripple it, while Corrosion Toxic is a huge nuisance, especially for mons that want to switch into its STAB combo, like Mesflame, Flygalge, and Toucosta. That said, it's as difficult to use as it is to play around, being very frail and having a poor matchup vs offense. It's definitely a more niche mon, but considering how few dedicated stallbreakers we have (basically 0 considering Hawlazzle isn't played as one), it would be an interesting addition right now. Also, considering that this is a Gastrodon fusion that was subbed right above Ferros in its winning slate, this is Ferros' adoptive father. No, I don't care that it doesn't actually exist yet, I'm on the council so the lore is canon.
- Bug Bite, Close Combat, Drain Punch, Dual Wingbeat, Facade, Fire Punch, High Horsepower, Ice Punch, Knock Off, Mach Punch, Poison Jab, Stone Edge, U-Turn
- don't
- Bulk Up, Defog, Roost, Swords Dance, Toxic
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Status Absorber, Tank (Eviolite), Defensive Pivot (Eviolite), Wallbreaker (Guts)
Eviolite mons were pretty unexplored in main FE and Alpha, but starting with Galarian Cory2 and perpetuated by the success of Tanette, a ton were subbed to FEUU early on, though Ferros was the only other one voted in and marked the trend's end. Something that was theorized but never really acted on at the time was the idea of a mon that could use Eviolite but wouldn't have to, and to date, Scythurr is the sub that has committed most to that concept. It's like Absable before Absable existed, but instead of requiring your mega slot, it's entirely down to item selection: Eviolite for Buzzwole-like bulk or Flame Orb for Heracross-like power with a nasty Mach Punch. Combine either with options like STAB U-Turn, Knock, SD, and some surprisingly good coverage, and you have a potent mon that's extremely unpredictable on preview. It’s a shame that Ninjacross was subbed later in the same slate as this mon and took all of the attention off of it.
Ability: Scorched Earth = Water Bubble + Levitate Ability Description: This Pokemon's Ground power is 2x; it can't be burned; Water immunity.
Viable Moves:
- Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Fire Punch, First Impression, Leech Life, Stone Edge, Thunder Punch, U-Turn
- nah
- Defog, Dragon Dance, Roost, Sticky Web
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper, Sticky Web Setter
Originally conceptualized during Slate 7 to be the ultimate Grousle counter, behold! Earthquake: The Mon. In seriousness though, EQ really is at the centre of everything that Araquagon does. It may not have the best typing or a particularly high Attack stat, but with Bug complimenting Ground and Ground complimenting Dragon, this thing's actually got some really clean coverage going for it with just its boosted moves. This opens the way for DD sets or Roost + 3 attacks, both of which manage to make Bug/Dragon genuinely scary. Sticky Web is cool too, I've wanted a setter that stands apart from Kyottler or Slurpum for a while now and this fits the bill.
Well, my attempt to get people interested in another doubility mon in slate 18 did result in a bunch of subs, but unfortunately, no winners. It's now been 18 slates since we last saw a doubility fusion win and at this point it's now or never, so I'm bringing back the best of the bunch. Hydrivine has a mediocre typing and weak ability, and its stats aren't particularly optimized, but its movepool is where it really shines; Strong STAB moves, great coverage, U-Turn, Roost, and two solid setup options with Sleep Powder as an enabler. The coolest thing about that imo is that many of its most useful tools come from Carnivine of all things, a shitmon so bad that no fusions of it exist in the entire FE multiverse. I love it.
Ability: Permafrost = Solid Rock + Ice Body Ability Description: This Pokemon takes 3/4 damage from super-effective attacks, and heals 1/16 of its max HP when hit by one.
Viable Moves:
- Avalanche, Body Press, Earthquake, Rapid Spin, Stone Edge, Superpower
- Earth Power, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Overheat
- Curse, Recover, Stealth Rock, Toxic, Will-O-Wisp
My last original sub for the mod, Avarupt is a bulky Ice-type done right. Ice/Ground isn't great defensively, but most of its weaknesses are specially-leaning types, and between Recover and Permafrost bolstering its bulk, this mon can come in on a plethora of physical attackers and do some damage with its near-unresisted STAB combo, or take advantage of its great utility. It doesn't stop there though; the Mega is the kind of Trick Room mega everyone's been clambering for, with the lowest base Speed in the format combined with nigh-unwallable special coverage thanks to its STAB combo and Sheer Force, like normal Megarupt on crack. Certified coolmon.

Toxic, Milk Drink, Leech Seed, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Defensive Wall, Terrain setter Role Justification: Goatitar utilizes its big bulk to eat up hits from the likes of many big metagame threats.

Hypnosis(?) Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Set Up Sweeper (Blunder Policy) Role Justification: Powerful wallbreaker that thanks to its ability has a very cool interaction with the Blunder Policy item. Outisde of that, its a regular old bulky Electric type mostly here to fill a quota, but I am glad it came out as well as it did.
Quiver Dance, Focus Energy, Roost Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Set Up Sweeper (Quiver Dance / Focus Energy) Role Justification: Being the second fastest Pokémon in the tier, Pherofearo is a Pokémon defined by its stats and ability as its movepool while it has great coverage and powerful set up in QD, is lacking in regards to actual potent STAB. Its typing itself can also leave a lot to be desired, but it being bulkier than Pheromosa means it definitely can make it work.

Swords Dance Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Revengekiller Role Justification: Classic SD Priority sweeper with access to dual STAB Tech priority in Mach Punch and Bullet Punch, while Triple Axel comes in as very potent coverage.
DNA Donors: Eiscue / Goodra Fusion Name: Gooscue New Types:
Base Stats: 84 / 90 / 110 / 100 / 125 / 65 [BST: 574] (+2 HP / +0 Atk / +20 Def / +13 SpA / +5 SpD / +0 Spe) Noponcho Stats: 84 / 90 / 70 / 100 / 85 / 145 [BST: 574] New Ability: Poncho = (Hydration + Ice Face) Ability Description: Ice Face but also works in Rain, Hydration but also works in Hail. Notable Moves:
Icicle Crash, Outrage, Earthquake, Power Whip, Liquidation
Draco Meteor, Ice Beam, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Sludge Bomb
Belly Drum, Rest, Agility, Curse Intended Role: Set Up Sweeper Role Justification: Gooscue is a funny Pokémon crafted from a funny set of parents. As tied to the weather as it's abilities are, it would most likely be better outside of them. That being said, this is simply better Eiscue, which is an interesting take on the Belly Drum sweeper and the concept of a "1 free turn" in general. I guess Curse + Rest on Hail are mighty interesting but sounds better on paper than in practice.
: Calm Mind, Thunder Wave, Switcheroo Intended Role: Special Sweeper Role Justification: It's manetric with coverage. Also its wet now, plus it has a mega for when you really wanna amp it up. Honestly it would have a niche on rain teams since having accurate thunder is fun. Outside of that it can use calm mind to set up or it could even try and pull a mildly effective switcheroo choice lead set.
DNA Donors: Blaziken / Gallade Fusion Name: Galliken New Types:
Base Stats: 75 / 130 / 70 / 90 / 100 / 97 [BST: 562] (+1 HP / +8 Atk / +3 Def / +3 SpA / +8 SpD / +17 Spe) New Ability: Just Boost = (Speed Boost + Justified) Ability Description: When hit by a dark type move it speed goes up by one stage. Notable Moves:
: Flare Blitz, Close Combat, Shadow Sneak, Leaf Blade, Stone Edge, Poison Jab, Brave Bird?
: Overheat?
: Swords Dance, Agility? Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker Role Justification: Hey look a fire type with a rock neutrality that can hit hard and beat lard. You get the idea with this thing slap a band or orb on it and watch it reek havoc. Honestly while I made this for the whole bird thing it is fairly competent for what it is, and if you want it to go mega it can switch into a knock off and get a free speed boost before mega evolving. That right there is a bit of a janky strat but if you can pull it off it sounds like fun. Also it gets two whole mega evolutions so that's double the trouble!
:Belly Drum, Stealth Rock Intended Role: Set Up Sweeper, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock) Role Justification: YES AQUATIC GAZE AT THIS MAJESTIC BEAST IN AWE! IT GETS ROCK NEUTRALITY ALL THE WHILE IT CAN BECOME QUITE THE SPEEDY FUCK GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES! ALL HAIL THE DIRTY ICE PENGUIN AXOTOL THING! Also it has a mega meaning if this wins Aquatic has the pleasure of making four whole sprites for this thing. That said the mega would probably get quickbaned due to the noice stats + swift swim turning it from a regular speedy fuck into the true essence of speed. Seriously it would be stupidly fast.
DNA Donors: Aggron / Unfezant Fusion Name: Aggrofezant New Types:
Base Stats: 80 / 120 / 130 / 62 / 65 / 90 [BST: 547] (+5 HP / +8 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +8 SpD / +19 Spe) New Ability: Super Head = (Rock Head + Super Luck) Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities. Notable Moves:
: Head Smash, Brave Bird, Knock Off, U-Turn, Earthquake
:Swords Dance, Stealth Rock, Defog, Roost Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Removal(Defog) Role Justification: The masked flyer over here is faster and is going to hit harder with its two very powerful STABs. It has coverage for steels as well as some decent utility with knock, u-turn, and SR. Overall I think it's a decently strong choice. Also because Unfezant has a very defined gender difference and this fusion gets a mega if this wins Aquatic has to make four new bird sprites. Intended Role: Role Justification:
DNA Donors: Camerupt / Moltres Fusion Name: Molterupt New Types:
Base Stats: 90 / 100 / 80 / 135 / 80 / 75 [BST: 560] (+10 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +20 SpA / +0 SpD / +10 Spe) New Ability: Flaming Rock = (Solid Rock + Flame Body) Ability Description: Has the effect of both abilities. Notable Moves:
: U-Turn
: Fire Blast, Lava Plume, Earth Power, Scorching Sands, Hurricane, Air Slash, Flash Cannon
: Roost, Defog Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Hazard Removal(Defog) Role Justification: Listen Anaconja really wanted a fire ground type breaker in here, and I want to add more bird to FEUU. I consider this a win on both fronts. Fire/Ground is a great offensive typing and gives us another fire type that doesn't need boots to weather rocks. While its movepool is a bit lacking, I still think it can perform fairly well. It also has a mega that basically does the same shit but harder and slower.
: Dragon Dance, Defog, Recover Intended Role: Physical Sweeper, Hazard Removal(Defog), Defensive Pivot? Role Justification: A physical sweeper that while fast and powerful is held back by its typing. Grass/Dragon isn't a typing that knows greatness, especially physically but I think it has a decent enough movepool to make it work. Horn Leech gives it STAB with some recovery, Earthquake or Jump Kick could be used against steels, Draco Meteor as the go to dragon move, and then we have the fourth move slot which would probably go to Dragon Dance. That said it's not going to do amazing against fairy types as its main form of coverage against them is steel wing. Of course there is the bonus of the mega and the fact that if it wins THAT'S EIGHT MORE BIRD SPRITES FOR AQUATIC! BULBAPEDIA SAYS THAT THE LATI TWINS MIGHT BE BASED ON BIRDS SO FUCK IT I'M COUNTING THEM AS BIRDS!
Preview: Special Attacker which punishes switches with Analytic and damage
DNA Donors: Darkrai / Magnemite Fusion Name: Darkmite New Types:
Base Stats: 50 / 66 / 90 / 120 / 80 / 95 [BST: 501] (+3 HP / +4 Atk / +10 Def / +5 SpA / +8 SpD / +10 Spe) New Ability: Bad Data = (Analytic + Bad Dreams) Ability Description: Analytic + If this Pokémon goes last, at the end of the turn the opposing Pokémon loses 1/8th HP. Notable Moves:
Knock Off
Thunderbolt, Dark Pulse, Focus Blast, Volt Switch, Sludge Bomb, Flash Cannon
Thunder Wave, Will-o-Wisp, Teleport, Trick, Nasty Plot(?) Intended Role: Switch Punisher, Special Wallbreaker, Choice Specs/Scarf Role Justification: Darkmite is a special wallbreaker who punishes switches with Analytic boosted attacks and extra damage if it stays in. However, it has few entry points outside of aggressive doubles and revenge killing due to its poor bulk. Ghost-types can likely duel with it if it isn’t locked into Dark Pulse, while there are obvious punishes for Electric STAB. It’s somewhat like Dredvul where it hits like a truck with a choice item, but they have serious limitations due to being locked.
Swords Dance, Bulk Up, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, Taunt Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Choice (Band, Scarf), Potential Suicide Lead Role Justification: Offensive Ground which can only use its ability with coverage options. It can wallbreak with Swords Dance, blowing thrugh stuff like Tanette and Weezlord with Poison Jab, or Glidol with Ice Punch. Its above 100 Speed tier is nice in it not being stuck in a speed creep war. It is walled by Corveot though so rip unless you run Fire or Thunder Punch. 4MSS baby!
Taunt, Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock Intended Role: Sheer Force Wallbreaker Role Justification: Wow, this thing's moveset is huge. After your STABS, you've got Ice Beam for Glidol, Thunderbolt for Corveot, Shadow Ball for Miemie and Jelliswine, Toxic Spikes to abuse switches, oh my! The issue is that this has severe 4MSS and is slow. Wallbreakers like Miemie, Catdog, Frozerade and Monkesmart can use Queenking as an entry point to do their wallbreaking.

- Super Fang, Knock Off, U-Turn,
-
- Toxic, Trick Intended Role: Choice Scarf, Revenge Killer Role Justification: This originally started as a meme. Sentritto plays exactly like Ditto, except for extra utility incase it's ability gets suppressed by something like Weezlord. The current dominant strategy in the meta is offense (such as weather teams), and Ditto is THE anti-offense pokemon thanks to its ability to easily revenge kill an opponent, and has extra utility against boosted opponents such as Ninjacross, Hypnakart, and Keclyrex, among others.

- Knock Off
- Meteor Beam, Dark Pulse, Focus Blast, Sludge Bomb, Power Gem, Thunderbolt
- Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (SR, Toxic Spikes) Role Justification: Nihilfty provides an customizable Intimidate, and what would be the first SpD Intimidate to the meta (to maximize SpA while still gaining the SpD drop, run 252+ SpA and at least 100 SpD). Other than that, it functions similarly to Nihilego, having access to Meteor Beam for setup, and Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes.

- Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, Swords Dance Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Status Spreader, Hazard Setter (SR, Toxic Spikes), Set Up (Swords Dance) Role Justification: Nidokroak's role is to poison the opponent. Whether it attacks or defends, it can poison the opponent. It can set up hazards, which can poison the opponent (or just damage them regularly!). It can set up with Swords Dance so it can do more damage, and poison the opponent. It cannot poison Corveot or Xotalion (or even hit them with dual STABs), so Fire/Thunder Punch are useful coverage options, which can also be used to poison the opponent.

- Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Crabhammer, Close Combat, U-Turn
- Dark Pulse, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower
- Nasty Plot, Swords Dance Intended Role: Set Up (Swords Dance, Nasty Plot), Offensive Pivot Role Justification: Zorodaunt is a remix of my first ever FEOU mon to win, Zoroark/Porygon-Z. Zorodaunt's main feature is Illusion, but with more capabilities for team synergy. Having a Dark or Water type in your last slot allows for you to deal extra damage, and linking a pokemon with STAB on one of your coverage moves could be useful as well. It is capable of setting up with SD or NP, and can pivot out with U-Turn.

Boomburst, Hurricane, Sludge Wave

Quiver Dance, Recover/Roost, Skill Swap if you're insane
Intended Role: QD Sweeper, Speed Control Role Justification: Speedy mon. Would be our fifth fastest mon in fact. While as a fast Fairy it isn't as good as Kokovoir or Zerclef due to them having great abilities, it makes up for that with respectable bulk, enormous movepool and most importantly Quiver Dance. After setting up, it is a fairly dangerous Pokémon which is very hard to revenge through Scarf, instead encouraging stuff like Golisotops' First Impression or forcing it out through Steels, sice it has no super-effective move to hit those.
Despite QD being the main set though, I can see support-oriented sets. It gets Fast Screens, Hazard Cleaning, Webs, Recovery, Status Spreading and both Fast and Slow Pivoting. I wouldn't say any of these are better than Quiver Dance, but they are interesting options to consider.

Notable Moves:
Brave Bird, Close Combat, Crunch, U-Turn, Wild Charge
Volt Switch
Defog, Roost
Intended Role: Physical Bulky Pivot Justification: Luxraptor is intended to fill quite a few roles at once. It has above-average bulk coupled with Intimidate and a great defensive type allowing for it to run a bulky pivot role, further synergizing with Intimidate forcing switches quite often. Its high Attack ensures it isn't anywhere near passive, and while it likely wouldn't run full on Offensive sets, it still packs quite a peck. Also gives you an Intimidate mon that isn't slow as hell and can regain HP.
Preview: Balanced Protean mon with a fun side effect of copying moves of the same type, allows it to switch in on Knock Off and Volt switch

Notable Moves:
U-Turn
Hurricane, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Water Shuriken
Spikes
Intended Role: Special Sweeper Role Justification: Bootleg Greninja, but it is able to switch into Volt Switch and Parting shot to copy the move for a grab in momentum. Struggles pretty hard against Ferros because its main moves are Water / Flying / Ice and its one Electric move changes with Type.
Has a pretty interesting gimmick with Protean + Revelation Dance in that it can use something like Spikes, turning Revelation Dance into a Ground move. Not a super viable strategy but helps it deal with Ferros

DNA Donors: Noctowl / Thundurus-Therian Fusion Name: Nocturus-Therian New Types:

Immune to types that it is resisted to, and restores 25% HP when hit by a move of that type. Notable Moves:
… Nasty Plot, Roost, Defog, Taunt, Thunder Wave Intended Role: special breaker, pivot Role Justification: Tinted Lens really allows it to break stuff, especially with all of our Steels in the meta, and it especially insane when backed by Nasty Plot. Thankfully, it's ability is also useless against Weezlord so it's one of the only special breakers that doesn't care about Weezlord's ability suppression. Speaking of the ability, Speaking of the ability, it also loves dealing with Brontun. With an immunity to Apple Acid and Leech Seed, Brontun struggles to touch it and Nocturus uses it as fodder. Beyond dealing with Brontun, it's also an amazing pivot mon due to its ability to shut down U-Turn, letting it stop momentum and then get some of its own. Held in check through it's speed tier.
It beats: Brontun, Tanette, Flaant (anything reliant on Bug or Grass stab/coverage) Teammates: Kyottler-Primal, Whimslotic, Manicuno (anything that appreciates Brontun's removal, particularly special breakers) Loses To: Manicuno, Ninelands, Lycanserker (Rock and Ice mons, especially any physical attackers.

… Knock Off, Anchor Shot, Power Whip, Close Combat, Earthquake
… Swords Dance Intended Role: physical breaker, trick room abuser Role Justification: Triple STAB mon hits hard as hell, with a nuclear Knock Off and Anchor Shot for Fairies. Power Whip generally hits hard and is probably the best option for the last slot, but coverage options might be worth it as well. Outside of Trick Room, it still hits really hard but is held back by its speed tier and poor defensive typing.

… Roost, Sticky Web, Thunder Wave, Agility Intended Role: Sticky Web setter, offensive/defensive pivot Role Justification: Keep the webs up! You can switch this thing in on anticipated switches to try and force our many Levitators to take webs or Spikes. The strategy still has counterplay from Flying types but they're not going to come in anyways. The grounding effect is also really funny with a Kokovoir partner as it lets you click Rising Voltage against everything, and the two naturally form two thirds of a fairy/dragon/steel core. It is reliant on webs being active to outspeed things and it has no way of boosting so it's likely only going to be a cleaner rather than a breaker.

… Recover, Defog, Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Wish, Swords Dance, Toxic Intended Role: defensive/offensive pivot, hazard removal, wishpasser, swords dance breaker Role Justification: Taking a page out of Tornadus-T's book, Ho-Fetch'd is a versatile utility mon that covers most gaps teams may need. Brave Bird is an amazing STAB with regen healing the recoil. Recover is obligatory for longevity. The remaining two sets can be whatever you need and there are a lot of options (Defog, Knock Off, U-Turn, Wish or a status move). Swords Dance could also work though it's speed tier is kind of unfortunate (slower than Manicuno rip), and it gets enough coverage to make it work.

Causes adjacent Pokemon affected by Grassy Terrain to lose 1/8th of their HP at the end of every turn. This effect happens after healing. Notable Moves:
… Energy Ball, Dark Pulse, Focus Blast, Sludge Bomb
… Swords Dance, Substitute, Leech Seed, Taunt, Nasty Plot Intended Role: Grassy Terrain setter, physical breaker, special breaker, stallbreaking? Role Justification: Selfish Grassy Surge compensates for its lack of an abuser, though this abuses it fine with Glide. The ability effectively turns it into a Sand/Hail clone if its active (since they still get healed). SD breaker or offensive pivot is obvious. Funny Leech Seed set could also be really funny with double leftovers. Given all of our Levitate and flying mons, it still has lots of counterplay with the chip damage (since they wouldn't lose or gain HP) and we have so many Grass resists. It's intentionally underspeeding Mesflame to ensure it can't Knock it, and it is generally reliant on its priority to break faster threats. Special sets might work with Nasty Plot but they don't seem as amazing without Grassy Glide.

Close Combat, Earthquake, Ice Punch, Bullet Punch, Thunder Punch, Knock Off, Poison Jab, Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, Heavy Slam
N/A
Trick Room, Recover, Bulk Up, Reflect Type Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Trick Room Sweeper Role Justification: Like the name of its ability, this thing is Flexible, with the Protean effect of its ability giving it STAB on its wide array of coverage moves, most notably Close Combat, Knock Off, Earthquake, Ice Punch, and Heavy Slam, which will all hit hard thanks to its high 122 Attack. Kecliyama is also fat, with decen 105/75/100 bulk and an ability that gives it one less weakness before changing type and, while not terribly useful for most types, lets it resist Fighting when using CC, Ground when using EQ, resist Normal when using Recover, and take neutral from Ghost when using Shadow Sneak. This fat lets it setup Trick Room, where it can really make use of its power. It's biggest weakness will likely be 4MSS, since it usually needs Trick Room and really wants Recover to function, but then has to choose between the super powerful Earthquake for Slowton, Hattaka, and Cofazor, Knock Off for Mesflame, Poison Jab for Tanette, Ice Punch for Glidol, Stone Edge or Thunder Punch for Toucosta and Kyottler, and Bulk Up for extra power. Oh, and it's not good at all, but because of its ability, Reflect Type almost always makes you resistant to the opponent's STAB, which is funny
Nasty Plot, Slack Off, Calm Mind, Taunt Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Special Sweeper Role Justification: Ice/Water with Freeze-Dry is unresisted coverage and with 122 Special Attack, good enough 96 Speed, and Nasty Plot, Mr. Deo is well equipped to murder everything. Glidol, Kyottler, Buzzeggutor, Dracolix, Flygalge and more fold to this Rime Ranger and that's before a Nasty Plot. Plus, if you forgo Nasty Plot and go Choiced, it can keep up momentum with Flip Turn. just be careful as, even with decent 105/90/95 bulk, it's an Ice-type, so it comes with a Rocks weakness and get revenge killed by Ninjacross, Serpanadel (unless you run Ice Shard like a crackhead), Lycanserker, and others.
DNA Donors: Gogoat / Politoed Fusion Name: Goatoed New Types:
Base Stats: 110 / 87 / 68 / 109 / 110 / 69 [BST: 553] (+4 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +16 SpA / +20 SpD / +0 Spe) New Ability: Grassy Surge = (Grass Pelt + Drizzle) Ability Description: Summons Grassy Terrain on switch-in Notable Moves:
N/A
Scald, Giga Drain, Ice Beam, Focus Blast
Milk Drink, Leech Seed, Toxic, Roar Intended Role: Special Wall, Grassy Terrain Setter Role Justification: Goatoed is a fat special sponge, with great 110/110 special bulk and recovery from Grassy Terrain and potentially Leftovers as well as, which helps it take on the likes of (Special) Mesflame, Arctres, Heatki, Kokovoir, and Toxalure. Plus, Goatoad's Grassy Terrain also provides great support for Gossephalon and Serpanadel's Leaf Storm, offsets Heatki and Slowton's Ground weakness, and gives a little extra recovery to grounded teammates, which can make all the difference. Lastly, is has two great STABs in Scald and Terrain-boosted Giga Drain to threaten Glidol, Maroligatr, Pincurchitar, and more.
DNA Donors: Ariados / Mewtwo Fusion Name: Ariatwo New Types:
Base Stats: 90 / 110 / 80 / 120 / 80 / 100 [BST: 580] (+2 HP / +10 Atk / +0 Def / +13 SpA / +0 SpD / +15 Spe) New Ability: Pest Control = (Swarm + Unnerve) Ability Description: The opponent cannot use Bug-type moves while this Pokémon is active Notable Moves:
Megahorn, Zen Headbutt, Earthquake, Drain Punch, Sucker Punch, Stone Edge, Poison Jab
Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, Sticky Web, Taunt, Toxic Spikes Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Nasty Plot, Swords Dance), Sticky Web Setter Role Justification: Ariatwo's great 110/120 offenses make it a huge offensive threat once it's able to get on the field, being able to shred through the likes of Glidol, Corveot, Kyottler, Maroligatr, Toucosta, and Slowton with ease. If it manages to setup with either Swords Dance or Nasty Plot, then it becomes even more insanely threatening , since almost nothing wants to take attacks from this at +2 and nothing that outspeeds it wants to switch-in. Plus, with the ability to effectively use both Swords Dance and Nasty Plot, the opponent has to guess which one, which could cost the opponent a mon or two. Plus, it's reasonably fast and can set Sticky Web and Toxic Spikes if you need a suicide lead. However, Ariatwo does have a lot of flaws. With a horrendous Defensive typing and meh 90/80/80, Ariatwo may struggle to set up and gets revenge killed by Gossephalon, Mega Corveot, and Lycanserker, among others. Also, it may have to forgo a boosting item for longevity thanks to its Rock weakness, so it becomes a lot less powerful. And, while it has the freedom to pick between Swords Dance and Nasty Plot, each set has its flaws, with Nasty Plot lacking a STAB Bug move or much appreciated priority in Sucker Punch, while Swords Dance sets lack strong Electric, Fire, or Ice coverage and a more reliable STAB. Think of Ariatwo kinda like Miasmaw from CAP, a strong Bug-type that can dissuade pivoting with its power (not to mention an ability that prevents the use of U-Turn) and has a ton of coverage, but is frail, outsped by a lot, and held back by a Stealth Rock weakness
DNA Donors: Ariados / Mega Mewtwo X Fusion Name: Mega Ariatwo X New Types:
Base Stats: 90 / 190 / 90 / 120 / 90 / 100 [BST: 680] New Ability: Steadfast Ability Description: Boosts the user's Speed by 1 if it flinches Notable Moves:
Megahorn, Zen Headbutt, Earthquake, Drain Punch, Sucker Punch, Stone Edge, Poison Jab
Swords Dance, Taunt, Recover, Bulk Up Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper Role Justification: Not being able to wear boots and a meh Speed tier and bulk wouldn't save this from getting banned immediately
DNA Donors: Ariados / Mega Mewtwo Y Fusion Name: Mega Ariatwo Y New Types:
Base Stats: 90 / 150 / 60 / 160 / 110 / 110 [BST: 680] New Ability: Insomnia Ability Description: The Pokémon cannot fall asleep Notable Moves:
Nasty Plot, Sticky Web, Taunt Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper Role Justification: Would be a lot more balanced than Mega X thanks to its terrible Defensive typing, Rocks weakness, and terrible physical bulk, but with all that coverage and Nasty Plot plus outpacing the similarly powerful Mega Corveot while having a much higher SpA and better coverage likely pushes it well over the edge
bug + lion = spectrier
DNA Donors: Genesect / Pyroar Fusion Name: Pyrosect New Types:
Base Stats: 95 / 95 / 90 / 116 / 90 / 105 [BST: 591] (+17 HP / +1 Atk / +7 Def / +2 SpA / +10 SpD / +3 Spe) New Ability: Grim Neigh = (Download + Moxie) Ability Description: This Pokémon's Special Attack goes up by 1 after attacking and KOing a Pokémon Notable Moves:
U-Turn
Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flash Cannon, Techno Blast, Psychic, Energy Ball
Rock Polish, Will-O-Wisp, Work Up, Taunt Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Cleaner Role Justification: With Grim Neigh, Pyrosect can fit in nicely as a late game cleaner, being able to quickly snowball out of control after netting a KO on a weakened foe. Steel/Fire STAB coverage hits Weezlord, Cofazor, Corveot, and Hattaka while also giving it a number of resistances that allows Pyrosect to come in on the previously mentioned, as well as the numerous Fairy and Poison-types in the tier like Flygalge and Tanette. Pyrosect can either set up with Rock Polish/Shift Gear or rock a Choice Specs or Scarf and cleave through the opponent's team or even pack a Douse Drive to give the Fire-types that resist its STABs like Heatki and Arctres a nasty surprise.
Rime Ranger Black was kicked off of the teambecause of his violent tendencies. He blames Rime Ranger White, better known as Mr. Ace, for his misfortune. That blame becomes resentment, and the resentment becomes rage, as what was once Mr. Hax becomes… THE RIME REAPER!
DNA Donors: Haxorus / Slowbro-Galar Fusion Name: Haxlowrus-Galar New Types:
Dragon Dance Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper Role Justification: This Pokemon has an extremely simple game plan: hit things. Full viable attack sets featuring STABS and fairy/steel counters for AV or choice items, or swap a coverage move out for ddance. It’s also immune to ice shard and sucker punch so that’s nice.
Man that sure was a lot of lore up there! Anyway camel

…
Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Earth Power
Stealth Rock Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock) Role Justification: Much like the last, this mon is also rather straightforward. Fire Blast and Thunderbolt for classic STABs, Volt Switch serves it’s purpose, earth power so it does something against rock mons, and stealth rocks to, well, set up stealth rocks. With the ability, this mon’s nice to bait out coverage moves and then counter them. Mega Forms:

… Intended Role: See Base - Offensive Pivot Role Justification: Slower than base form, in exchange for a nice defensive boost with a huge offensive boost in the form of stats and sheer force. Otherwise about the same.
DNA Donors: Nidoking / Basculin Fusion Name: Nidobask New Types:
Base Stats: 75 / 99 / 71 / 99 / 71 / 106 [BST: 521] (+0 HP / +2 Atk / +0 Def / +17 SpA / +6 SpD / +15 Spe) New Ability: Rare Form = (Sheer Force + Reckless) Ability Description: Moves with secondary effects deal 1.2x damage Notable Moves:
Poison Jab, Liquidation, Aqua Jet, Throat Chop, Scale Shot
Sludge Bomb, Scald, Earth Power
… Intended Role: Mixed Wallbreaker Role Justification: Finally breaking the cycle of water poisons not being toxic stalling fuckfaces. Utilizing moves affected by sheer force while still retaining a significant boost is a nice buff for nidoking. Well there’s that and it gets STAB priority and offensive boosts. Throat chop for psychics, earth power for electrics. Scale shot for a nice speed boost. The STABs are rather self explanatory. Go for a full physical attack investment if you want consistent damage, or if you like that change of poison and burn, go ahead and try a special set with Aqua Jet in the back.
This mon was inspired by a poll I held on a big server I mod for, so thank Santa’s elves for this one
DNA Donors: Granbull / Bisharp Fusion Name: Bullsharp New Types:
Base Stats: 78 / 122 / 87 / 60 / 84 / 77 [BST: 508] (+1 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +19 SpD / +20 Spe) New Ability: Chivalry = (Rattled + Defiant) Ability Description: If this Pokémon’s stats are lowered, raise attack by 2 stages and speed by 1 stage Notable Moves:
Play Rough, Iron Head, Ice Punch, Earthquake
…
Swords Dance, Stealth Rock Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Control Deterrent Role Justification: We begin with our STABs, Play Rough and Iron Head, this mon’s primary damage sources. We then go to Ice Punch and Earthquake, which counters ground mons and fire mons, respectively. Swords Dance better do its fucking job as always. Stealth Rock is a nice move on its own, but combined with the ability it can become a huge threat while this mon’s out. The best way to put it is this mon punishes you for not hitting it, which I guess applies to most mons, but especially this mon.
You might ask “hey Red didn’t you already make a fighting genesect?” And you’d be correct but this time I’m making like Daft Punk and Doing It Right
DNA Donors: Passimian / Genesect Fusion Name: Genesimian New Types:
Base Stats: 97 / 122 / 97 / 80 / 97 / 90 [BST: 583] (+12 HP / +2 Atk / +5 Def / +0 SpA / +20 SpD / +1 Spe) New Ability: Random Access Memories = (Receiver + Download) Ability Description: Steals the opponent’s stat boosts upon defeating it, but if the opponent has no stat boosts, raise the attack stat that the fainted pokemon would take more damage from. Notable Moves:
Drain Punch, Close Combat, Iron Head, Extreme Speed, U-Turn
…
Shift Gear Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Shift Gear), Offensive Pivot Role Justification: I wanted to turn spectral thief into an ability, but lemme just say that making it viable was hard. First you need to meet the components to make an ability like that, and then you need to make sure they have nice stats and moves to go along with it, as well as a priority move for easy activation. With Passimian for many of the ability’s details and genesect for the priority and finishing touches, I’ve made Beast Boost DLC. We start with our STABs, CC for damage and not caring much about stealing defensive stats, which is justified. Espeed for priority and more easily using the ability, and U-Turn to pivot before setting up. Also, feel free to take stat boosting matters into your own hands with shift gear.
DNA Donors: Obstagoon / Seismitoad Fusion Name: Seismigoon New Types:

Knock Off, Earthquake, Gunk Shot, Ice Punch
…
Obstruct, Parting Shot, Bulk Up, Stealth Rock Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper, Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter Role Justification: For once, we’ll start with status moves, as goon tends to start with status moves. Obstruct is better protect, Parting Shot’s a staple of pivoting, Bulk Up’s used for stat boosts, and Stealth Rock is fucking Stealth Rock. Then we pop the classic flame orb to activate the Guts of Gutter. The interesting part of gutter is its creative means of returning the HP lost from burn. Koff and EQ are STABs, and they’re classic physical attacker moves to begin with. Gunk Shot to counter fairy mons and Ice Punch to counter grass mons.
First of all, I want to say that I lost a lot of motivation on everything, so this might be the last thing I have done for pet mod before I disappear for a while, probably until I enter mania phase again, or just never, so good luck and hope to cya then.

Fire Blast, Hydro Pump, Scorching Sands, Snipe Shot
Focus Energy, Swords Dance Intended Role: Offensive:
Physical/Special/Mixed wallbreaker
Setup Sweeper (Focus Energy, Swords Dance)

Hail Abuser
Choice Specs/Scarf
Offensive Pivot Role Justification: Hail Abuser with unresisted STAB (IIrc Freeze-Dry and Water moves are).

Gonna do you a favor and tell you from now, so you get ample time to change this up
Everything sans Diagarde 10% is most likely broken / borderline, and would be vetoed if the council ever comes to it. Chamge these out pronto!
Also note that nowadays Role Justification does not mean saying what it is, that is known as "Intended Role". Role Justification should be you giving a brief summary of the role you identified in Intended Role. If you leave that out you apparently get vetoed as well.
