Just an FYI, by June 17, you'll have to take the following mons to account:
Poliwrath (who is getting Liquidation, Close Combat, Darkest Lariat and for doubles High Horsepower)
Politoed
Magnezone (who is getting Body Press)
Chansey/Blissey
Tangrowth
Kingdra
Starmie
Scizor
Azumarill (who is getting High Horsepower)
Exploud
Krookodile (who is getting Close Combat, Darkest Lariat and for doubles High Horsepower)
Zoroark (who is getting Sludge Bomb outside of event)
Emolga
Meinshao (who is getting Close Combat)
Druddigon
Boffulant
Volcarona
Talonflame
Dedenne
Lycanroc (who is getting Close Combat, Play Rough and Psychic Fangs. This applies to all 3 including Dusk who has Tough Claws)
why is dedenne significant we may never know, also what prevented zoroark from running sludge bomb in the first place, also ferrothorn be 1v1 magnzezone now with body press, only traps corvi really

Why did you list Body Press as if that is a notable addition to Magnezone.

to hit ferro???? and other steel types, also that ferro was said sarcastically
and do what? 20%?

4 Def Magnezone Body Press vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 78-94 (22.1 - 26.7%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

Bisharp knocks it out with Knock Off after a small amount of chip (or a boost), Excadrill kills it, Scizor (when that arrives) kills it. The only Steels it traps are the Flying types (Corv and Worse Corv with Spikes)

hence the sarcasm

Magnezone could maybe adapt with Iron Defense and defense investment, but that would require giving up either Volt Switch or Flash Cannon, and the defense investment would sap away from speed and/or power investment, making it less effective against things not named Ferrothorn or Bisharp.

Yung Dramps

awesome gaming
Call me crazy but with Hidden Power gone I deadass think Alolan Golem has a shot at being the better Magnet Puller should it return. It was already seeing fringe usage in USUM OU for being able to trap Heatran and now it's the only one with the precious Fire coverage needed for foes like Ferrothorn and Scizor

Fwiw i think magnezone will still be better, magnezone still traps everything it used to trap beside ferrothorn. It doesnt need hpfire for steels since specs tbolt fries them, max hp scizor gets ohkod after rocks chip for example, lets not forget how hard is it to switch into specs in general too

Golem funnily enough needs choice band to beat corvinight, it does only 50% to ferro without band too

Maybe itll adapt and run banded now since heatran wont exist for a while, so we'll see
252 Atk Golem-Alola Wild Charge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 194-230 (48.5 - 57.5%) -- 46.5% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 Atk Golem-Alola Fire Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 184-220 (52.2 - 62.5%) -- 98% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Choice Band Golem-Alola Wild Charge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 320-378 (80 - 94.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Choice Band Golem-Alola Fire Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 304-360 (86.3 - 102.2%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO

I agree with you, but as Young Dramps said, i think alogolem will be used a lot more then it was in USUM. There is no denying mag will be overused(i hope). But alogolem might be used on some teams struggling with ferro and can trap other steels as well.

I don't understand how this tiering works.
I see Tauros, Lilligant, and Bouffalant listed as OU on the smogon.com dex, but all three of them are entirely absent from any of these usage lists.
Someone please explain.

This is because these usage stats were posted before the DLC dropped. As such, they never show up.
