NOT A BUNNY!
is a Forum Moderator Alumnus

A strong breeze of fresh air and a peaceful day for all the wild Pokemon to relax and enjoy themselves as they listen to Pichu play his small guitar. Ah what a wonderful day to be alive!

The two trainers didn't want to interrupt the Pichu's performance so they continue searching for a location to battle in...

They all finally settled on a place to battle, and luckily they can still hear Pichu's music from here so that's a nice bonus right? The trainers split to their teams and readied themselves for a fun and exciting experience!

Bronzong [Burans] (NB)

Tier: ★★★☆☆

Type: Steel / Psychic

Abilities: Levitate / Heatproof / Heavy Metal (Unlocked)
  • This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, granting the Hovering status. Ground moves can still hit.
  • This Pokemon's mirror-like alloyed skin protects it from Fire-type attacks, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.) The damage inflicted by burns is also cut in half.
  • The Pokemon's body structure is immensely dense, doubling its actual weight.

  • When this Pokémon is initially sent out in a match, it hides behind a disguise. This disguise will block direct damage from one damaging move (if the attack is a multi-hit move, it will absorb one hit from the move, reducing the BAP of the attack) before fading.

Tini [♀] Dragonite [Stage: 3]
Type: Dragon / Flying
Hidden Power Type: Steel

[Abilities]
Inner Focus
This Pokemon has unshakable mental composure. It is immune to Intimidate. Also, Flinching does not prevent it from acting, but if it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability still activates.

Multiscale
This Pokemon has sturdy scales to protect it from an opponent's attacks. If this Pokemon is at their maximum HP when a round starts, all damage done to this Pokemon by attacks with BAP during the round will be halved.

Tini is a shy, sweet Pokemon that prefers not to fight, often serving as a mediator and generally taking a back seat in fights. However, do not let this demeanor fool you, as her skills are incredible when she uses them.

Rara [♀] Gardevoir [Stage: 3]
Type: Psychic / Fairy
Hidden Power Type: Ice

[Abilities]
Synchronise
Pokemon with this ability mentally link their condition to an opposing Pokemon and when inflicted by the major status ailments Burn, Poison, or Paralysis, will share their status condition with the opponent. Pokemon will not be inflicted by status conditions to which they are immune by virtue of typing, ability, etc.

Trace
When entering into battle, this Pokemon can copy an ability on one of its opponents for 6 EN. This effect only triggers if the ability to be copied is specified when the Pokemon is sent out. When facing a pokemon with Trace, the Player sending out last must send out the pokemon without orders, in order to give the opponent the opportunity to trigger trace and any orders eventually given will be ignored until given the opportunity for trace to be triggered. The ability remains on the Pokemon for six (6) actions

Telepathy
This Pokemon has a mental link with its allies in multiple battles, which allows it to avoid taking damage from allied attacks that damage each foe or the entire field like Blizzard and Earthquake. They are still affected by an opponents spread damage attacks.

Originally rather quiet (I was going to say, quite quiet, but I rather avoid the reference), Rara has learnt over the course of my travels to be a bit more outspoken. Her incredible skills (which includes, but is not limited to, limited mind reading, detecting the presence of Pokemon, and long-range telephathy with Pokemon and humans alike) makes her a valuable member, as well as a good head for battles!

Lulu [♂] Lucario [Stage: 3]
Type: Steel / Fighting
Hidden Power Type: Water

[Abilities] (note: Adaptability is only for Lucario-Mega)
Steadfast
If this Pokemon is flinched, it becomes aware of the speed difference and increases its Speed (adjusting the natural stage) by one (1) stage to make up the difference.

Inner Focus
This Pokemon has unshakable mental composure. It is immune to Intimidate. Also, Flinching does not prevent it from acting, but if it has another ability that would be activated by flinching, that ability still activates.

Justified
This Pokemon's body reacts to dark energy, invigorating its passions. When hit by a Dark-type move, the Pokémon's Attack will increase one (1) stage (adjusting the natural stage).

Lulu was a hotheaded Pokemon from the moment he hatched, immediately challenging Rara to a battle (and also leaving Tini appalled by his bloodthirstiness). However, with so little experience, it was no wonder he lost to her. After traveling with me for so long, he has changed drastically, becoming less hotheaded and thinking more, his battling skills have improved and he is more willing to learn. He still fights Rara at every opportunity, hoping to increase his prowess!

"A bit of tactical advice: if you use OR in a substitution it counts as two substitutions. This means what you've written counts as using five of them total, in a battle where only three are allowed. In this case it doesn't matter so much because I don't intend to activate any of them, but keep it in mind for the future."

Raikou enters the forest and relaxes next to Pichu's jam session, enjoying the strums of its ukulele.

Sadly Raikou's rest doesn't last long as the weather changes from clear to sleet then hail, scaring the young Pokemon, and ending the party.

Raikou goes and investigate who is disturbing their company's peace and observes a Phione setting up rings of water just after taking an electrifying blow from the Dragonite.

Before sending a thunderstorm on the two homewreckers, Raikou turns to the sound of Pichu screaming and the sees a Hoopa stealing it's Ukulele and begins to hoop away. Raikou without hesitation thunder steps into the hoop chasing the Hoopa for the Ukulele

This all would have not happened if Phione didn't change the weather. But hey the hailstorm is too loud and foggy for the trainers to notice anyway..

Although Snom has the HP lead, Mow has the advantage this next round with Multiscale inactive and perfect Blizzards incoming...Let's see who will triumph this next round!

The Dragonite changes the weather, not wanting to ruin this already perfect weather and does weird hand signals, only to create another clone of herself! The Phione barrages it with flurries of snows and frozen beams only to then be sky-uppercutted all the why into the sky, thank goodness it has been recovering from its Aqua Ring.

Ordering First with a Pokemon on cooldown is not a good position to be in...huh deja vu . Let's see if the newcomer can defend himself!

The Raikou still hasn't returned

"The thing about your third sub is that if I use Swords Dance A1, I outspeed, so you only Imprison Swords Dance after I've already used the move. An 'and you are faster' or something would have helped with that."
"I see you too. And I think my vision is going to come out on top here."
