[SET COMMENTS]

* Pheromosa is a solid offensive pivot with good role compression for balance teams thanks to its blazing Speed tier, massive Attack stat, and useful utility in Rapid Spin. However, due to its frailty, weakness to priority, weakness to hazards, and middling typing, Pheromosa does require a lot of defensive and offensive support to fill its role effectively.
* Triple Axel provides essential coverage against Yveltal, Eternatus, and Giratina-O, while also denying Smeargle and Deoxys-A leads any entry hazards by breaking Focus Sash and removing them from play.
* Rapid Spin allows Pheromosa to take advantage of the many switches it forces by clearing hazards for teammates such as Specially Offensive Yveltal and Mega Salamence.
* Choice Band makes it difficult for opposing Pokemon to switch in against Pheromosa, as Necrozma-DM and Alomomola are 2HKOed by Close Combat, Giratina-O and Eternatus are 2HKOed by Triple Axel while Defensive Yveltal risks the OHKO from it, and Primal Kyogre can be OHKOed by Close Combat.
* Tera Fighting skyrockets Pheromosa’s wallbreaking power, as now even Dondozo, Defensive Primal Groudon, and offensive Eternatus are 2HKOed by Close Combat. Tera Fighting also guarantees a OHKO on Arceus-Dark.
* Tera Ghost prevents Extreme Speed from Arceus and Rayquaza, allowing Pheromosa to revenge-kill them more consistently. Tera Normal blocks Shadow Sneak from Marsahadow and Giratina-O, allowing Pheromosa to revenge-kill Marshadow and KO a weakened Giratina-O more efficiently.
* Pheromosa is a good fit on balance teams that need a fast breaker or pivot that can check Deoxys-A.
* Pheromosa is useful at breaking holes in the opposing team and chipping walls such as Giratina-O and Necrozma-DM early game. It is best to mostly use U-Turn early game to scout Terastillizations it can force from opponents such as Arceus-Dark and Zygarde. Pheromosa is also an excellent late game cleaner once Ho-Oh and parts of defensive cores such as Giratina-O or Primal Groudon are removed.
* Teams with defensive cores including Pokemon such as Giratina-O, Primal Groudon, Eternatus and Necrozma-DM can collectively wall Pheromosa and punish wrong predictions. It is best to continually use U-Turn to chip down these cores without the possibility of losing momentum, although Rocky Helmet Necrozma-DM can heavily punish this. In that case it is best to have a teammate such as Specially Offensive Yveltal with Knock Off pressure Necrozma-DM instead. Pheromosa also needs to be wary of Choice Scarf Yveltal, as this set can unexpectedly snipe it off with Oblivion Wing.
* Pheromosa needs solid defensive teammates to tank attacks from opposing threats like Necrozma-DM and Yveltal after it pivots on them such as Primal Groudon, Arceus-Fairy, and Ho-Oh. Pheromosa also appreciates teammates that can hard switch into Extreme Speed from Arceus and Shadow Sneak from Marshadow, such as Giratina-O and Yveltal.
* Gothitelle is an excellent teammate, as it can trap Ho-Oh, which Pheromosa struggles to make progress against. In addition, Gothitelle can trap parts of defensive cores such as Defensive Primal Groudon and Eternatus, allowing Pheromosa to more easily pressure the rest of the team.
* Pheromosa can often U-Turn to scout switch-ins and put a teammate in an excellent position. Setup sweepers that take advantage of excellent positioning such as Double Dance Primal Groudon, Arceus-Ground, and Mega Salamence make excellent teammates. These Pokemon can easily gain a free turn of setup by threaten out typical Pheromosa switch-ins such as Ho-Oh, Eternatus, and Necrozma-DM.

* Pheromosa is an excellent solid offensive pivot with insane good it aint THAT good like its B- tier cmon role compression for balance teams thanks to its blazing Speed tier, massive Attack stat, and useful utility in Rapid Spin. since Pheromosa is just B- (and ngl its on the verge of dropping) highlight some things that hold it back, like its frailty, weakness to hazards and priority and overall mid offensive typing

* Pheromosa can often U-Turn to scout a switch-ins and put a teammate in an excellent position. Setup sweepers that take advantage of excellent positioning such as Double Dance Primal Groudon, Arceus-Ground, and Mega Salamence make excellent teammates explain how all three of these can take advantage of switch-ins to Phero, such as Hooh or NDM or Etern.
