Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

People just cannot be counted upon to go with a drawed match. They just want to win. Just like these folks down here:

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmonscup-467751077
This is my battle, but the main thing here is the chat, which is some of the silliest back and forth I've seen.

THE PRODIGIAL SON RETURNS.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-468075457
...And by that, I mean Special Gyarados and incomplete teams. And that's just the tip of this iceberg.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-468077435
Yet another victim claimed by Ferrothorn.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468089514
Good to know that low ladder is not good enough for beating Arceus, even when burned.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468091140
Both sides make very questionable plays here.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-468095514
This match... this match. Holy moly, Right is on another level of stupid.
[R]Galladite Gardevoir. With Teleport. And no Physical or Fairy moves, but that's less egregious.
[R] Special Mega Gyarados. But not just any one; it has Water Pulse/Aqua Tail/Waterfall/Blizzard.
[Both] The above set is so dumb that it gets walled by Red Orb Chandleure.
[R] Level 98 Mega Charizard X. At least Crunch does something.
[R] Switches in Tyranitar into a Blue Orb Rotom-Wash.
[R] Switches in a Hyper Beam Mega Tyranitar into Rotom-Wash. It somehow works.
[L]...But is promptly slayed by Mewtwonite X Conkeldurr. (Which isn't too bad, really)
[R] Earthquake/Double-Edge/Energy Ball/Grass Knot Mega Venusaur. You missed the point of using it.
[R] Sending in Mega Sceptile in on a Kyruem, and expecting an Energy Ball to do much.
[R] Said Charizard had both Flamethrower and Fire Punch, showing no Dragon move for the Kyruem.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-468075457
...And by that, I mean Special Gyarados and incomplete teams. And that's just the tip of this iceberg.
(L) Four Pokémon.
(R) Six potential Megas, and the most popular ones at that. This team is basically raw fanservice.
(R) Special Gyarados with Blizzard and Surf. Sadly, the latter doesn't quite finish off L's ~35% Flygon, which finishes it off with three Dragon Claws thanks to a crit.
(L) Flygon reveals Boomburst against R's non-Mega Charizard. It gets finished off by Flame Burst.
(L) LIFE ORB HEAVY SLAM WAILORD OHKOS GARDEVOIR ON THE SWITCH-IN
(R) Gengar explodes on the first turn, dodging Wailord's Facade.
(L) Wailord Heavy Slams R's Lucario...
(R) ...which is met by an Iron Tail. For that matter, why is Lucario slower than Wailord? At least it has Extreme Speed.
(L) Mixed Mega Garchomp, with Draco Meteor and... Dragon Claw.
(R) But it's not the only mixed Pokémon on the battlefield, as Lucario shows when it uses Dragon Pulse. Just use Ice Punch.
(R) Come to think about it, holding off on Mega Evolving their Charizard earlier might not have been a bad idea. It allowed them to keep their immunities to the opposing Flygon's STAB. Yet they decide to Mega Evolve now, against a Mega Garchomp...
(L) ...that promptly uses Crunch, allowing Mega Charizard X to KO it.
(L) Dark Pulse Bisharp.
And, of course, the ending:

Lugiaoppggmaster left.

saccred forfeited.

Lugiaoppggmaster won the battle!
saccred left.

Atheist can't deal with Furfrou. Furfrou. Features Flamethrower Snorlax, Swords Dance Serperior, and Sleep Talk Raikou without Rest.

More atheist shenanigans, including Shadow Ball Snorlax, Fly Altaria(not mega), and Aqua Tail Swampert-Mega.

Damn atheists.

Ash Greninja shenanigans. He causes a forfeit because of his opponent's questionable plays.
It looks like he uses this team for Ubers as well.

Draco Meteor Shedinja goes against the world. Unfortunately, the world has Will-O-Wisp.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468049059
Subpar team can't handle Uxie, of all things. Includes:
- Acrobatics, Earthquake, Earth Power, Agility Gliscor (with no item)
- Gliscor repeatly using Ground-type moves when Uxie has Levitate
- Megahorn Heracross-Mega
- What looks like offensive Clefable (Moonblast + Dazzling Gleam)
- Uxie sweeping the team

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468046361
Yvetal, Dragonite, non-mega Sceptile, and non-mega Beedrill can't handle Heatran.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468042372
No, Mind Reader + Sheer Cold won't work here.

Five pokemon team can't handle Shell Smash Torkoal.
(The maximum Speed it can have is 304)

Another subpar team (looks like it's from GotG) can't handle Clawitzer.

I guess One Punch Man can't face a Magikarp.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468116657
FEAR gets trolled by Snorlax

Mix and Mega's now a permanent ladder, which will be great for this thread because its low ladder is worse than Balanced Hackmons's and Anything Goes's combined.
That almost makes up for the loss of GotG, since it gives me an excuse to bring back the Verlis Whale. Here he is, beating a team with special Amphrasoite Feraligatr.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-468182489
Also, special Aerodactly is awful, don't ever use it.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468023942

Not surprising, since those five pokemon include Vine Whip/Razor Leaf Mega Venusaur and Dragon Rage Charizard

Click Toxic used Metronome!
Waggling a finger let it use Heat Crash!
It's not very effective... The opposing Feraligatr lost 2% of its health!

^best part of the battle imo, though this gives it competition:
★Slothememe:you do realize, if you use heavy slam. its till usless. wailord is the lightest pokemon in the game..

(i'd add more meat to this post but i don't have any replays right now)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-468149875
All of left's team is level 50 for some reason. Right's team isn't too sound either, featuring Blue Orb Articuno
Yep, it's already proving it.
Blue Orb Articuno is actually not too bad, besides the problem of not actually being a physical attacker. Pidgeotite Articuno could be nice... Unlike the stuff used below.
(Freakin people thinking Wailord having the lowest density also meaning it has the lowest weight, when it's actually pretty darn heavy...)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-468183634
Every. single. move. All of them coming from Right had at least one flaw associated with them.

A lone Gardevoirite Noivern against the world. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468385386

(I'll get my randomized team ready for AG, and then get some AG gladiators going. I expect no end to the stupidity to fuel this thread with.)
It happened again...

Turn 15
onc8 left.

boilingCrAzYNoOb forfeited.

onc8 won the battle!
boilingCrAzYNoOb left.
onc8's rating: 1000 → 1042
(+42 for winning)
boilingCrAzYNoOb's rating: 1015 → 1002
(-13 for losing)

WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS

I decided to hop on the RNG train and created a random team. Fun times on the lower ladder I see

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468440099
Apparently this dude was testing special Medicham (chat) and Bisharp

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468443083
Hoo boy this one is a doozy. Someone can take this fully but highlights include the initial chat, Energy Ball/Earthquake Giratina-O, non-Mega Diancie, and Dragon Pulse Lugia. Also someone needs to count the number of times he said xD please.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468447811
Not as egregious as the last one, but features an almost Carracosta sweep, Water Pulse Slowking, Magnet Rise Electivire, and Grotle putting in tons of work.

I'll do more (maybe with the same team, maybe not) later.

Honor. Whatever people have of it in such a ladder position, that is. I simply wait for them to come back, personally.
(Why do the posts in here without battles get more likes than the battles themselves...? I don't get it.)

Anyways, some more mind-melting battles.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-468524976
Well, that sure is a ground weak team from right. Also, Dream Eater Gengar.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-468524203
The first turn of this is gold. Also, I do not understand the forfeit and that last switch. Or all of those Body Slams.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-468527118
...What.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-468527781
Alright, that same team with a toad happens to have a ton of problems with it. Someone take this one.

Back with a new randomly generated team. Things are still weird.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-468996213
What seems to be an in game ORAS team. Roggenrola puts in work here. (Yes I sacked the Hydreigon that was a misclick lol)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469001933
5v6 and Dream Eater Vivillon, along with dual Electric STAB/Earth Power Zekrom

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469005344
This is against basically an entirely normal Ubers/OU team, but that Bellsprout tho

I'll be back later for more RNG Battles with DaRandomBro.

Sandstorm+Dig Sand Force Excadrill, itemless Klefki, Shedinja without a sash, and a Darkrai sweep.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/stabmons-469255475
Turn 16
Heracross used Pin Missile!
The opposing Tyranitar avoided the attack!
The opposing Tyranitar used Hyperspace Fury!
(Only a Pokemon whose form is Hoopa Unbound can use this move.)
But the opposing Tyranitar can't use the move!
The sandstorm is raging.
Heracross is buffeted by the sandstorm!
Turn 17
★Kuraen: wat
Heracross used Pin Missile!
The opposing Tyranitar avoided the attack!
The opposing Tyranitar used Diamond Storm!
Heracross lost 51% of its health!
The opposing Tyranitar's Defense rose!
The sandstorm subsided.

(The Heracross was not mega, by the way.)

★dracothedragon: FUTURE SIGHT CAN MISS?!

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/inversebattle-469254272
I'm not sure how much of a threat Thundurus-T is in Inverse, but this guy clearly did not prepare for it.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469255831
Sash Floatzel vs. the world.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-469263541
You'd think with right's team, he'd know how to work around primal weather better. The team itself is mostly stock megas/primals, plus Moltres, for some reason.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469263512
Cofagrigus vs. the world. The world eventually wins with Night Slash Aegislash, of all things. Bonus points if you understand the source of Cofa's nickname.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-469262436
Whirlipede, Mystical Fire Delphox, and Infernape Mach Punching a Crobat.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469261596
Pikachu, Lilligant, Magic Bounce awareness fail, that Steelceus, and Crobat taking more Fighting moves, this time Sky Uppercut from Mega Blaziken.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-469262848
Final Gambit everywhere. One of them from Scrappy Excadrill, which I hope was Scarfed.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/mixandmega-469262191
Fun fact: Hurricane has only 50% accuracy in sun.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469262982
This one needs no explanation. Not that it can be explained in the first place.

Ion Deluge and Mega Sceptile. Welcome to Triples. Also, TIL Ion Deluge affects Transform.

Yay Cubs!

Nasty Plot Water Pulse Persian, attempting to set up Mega Metagross in the face of Hoopa-U, and is that a Scarf Clawitzer?

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469303040
Magic Bounce fail, Thunder Punch + Eruption Typhlosion, Dragon Dance non-Mega Charizard, and more.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469299826
Is this a lvl50 OU battle? With Donphan & another bunch of outclassed mons?

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469303494
Aerodactyl vs. the world. The world has questionable sets. Guess the winner.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469302833
Among other things, AV Clawitzer. Also, Sub won't save you from Skill Link Cloyster.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469301354
Weather wars feat. mono-Fire and questionable sets.
★MinalSwag: FIRE SPAM?????
That's on Turn 14.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469298395
Eruption Typhlosion is devastating here but it is still not good (that article is for RU but half still can be applied here). Also, the chat. Someone doesn't know how powerful Eruption actually is, btw.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469299080
Having a lone Zoroark defeats the entire point of Illusion. You know something is wrong when the world leads with Arceus-Ghost. This one ends pretty much like the Aerodactyl vs. the world one.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469298777
Blizzard Poison Point Nidoking. An early Mega Gyarados sweep prevents us from seeing more.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469295742
Arceus spam vs... what?
Lucario / Zangoose / Scolipede / Manectric / Tyrantrum / Palpitoad
Also that Arceus-Flying had no business facing Tyrantrum (and Arceus-Flying at all).
★Ynnick: omg its so lame
Maybe if you bring a decent team...

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469296745
More legendary bashing, and Eevee. Right has CM Klafki while left has very bad sets while making equally bad plays.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469298191
A Zoroark disguised as Shuckle causes a forfeit,.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469297390
Lone Aerodactyl guy again. This time at least it Mega Evolves. Same results as battles before.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469293758
And here we have it again with a lone Primeape vs. one of the worst worlds.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469283993
Non-Flash Fire Houndoom, Tangrowth 1v1ing a bad Arcanine and the worst Abomasnow I've ever seen, everything from turns 20-22, and more.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469294862
Trick + Full Incense. That's a new one. Also, Sucker Punch Meowstic-M, a Escavalier named "BIGGEST POKE", a bad Klefki set, and Switcheroo + Iron Ball... that later left Knocks Off anyway.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469291694
Marowak vs. the world. The world has mono-Mewtwo, and a bad one at that.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-469286874
Keeping with monos, right has a horrible mono-Togetic.
The opposing Togetic's Quick Claw let it move first!
The opposing Togetic used Soft-Boiled!
But it failed!
Gliscor used Toxic!
The opposing Togetic was badly poisoned!
The opposing Togetic was hurt by poison!
Turn 14
★RafaelDevante: man
★RafaelDevante: whats your tactic

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/giftsofthegods-467733667
Sad that's the last GotG replay. Someone take this one.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-469292402
BH low ladder nonsense. This one needs a list:
(R) Dragonite and Greninja
(L) Prankster Regice with Cosmic Power / Toxic Spikes / Stealth Rock / Hyper Beam
(R) Trace Mega Alakazam is questionable
(R) Thunder / Hidden Power / Outrage / Discharge Mega Ampharos
(R) Dragonite knows Dazzling Gleam / Brick Break / Body Slam / Aqua Tail
(L) Hone Claws / Confuse Ray / Precipice Blades Sturdinja
(R) Earthquake Drought Groudon
(R) Water Shuriken Skill Link? Greninja
(R) Energy Ball + Grass Knot Mega Sceptile
(R) Can't handle Sturdinja at all

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-469067305
Arceus everywhere with bad sets. Bulk Up (what is Coil?) / Storm Throw / Knock Off / Extreme Speed Arceus sweeps.

A lot of the 1 mon vs things in Anything Goes posted in the last page or so are because of a thread on the Pokemon Sun board on GameFAQs where someone names a Pokemon and someone else tries to 6-0 a team(forfeits don't count) using only that Pokemon on the AG ladder, I recognize a lot of the names seen in this thread.
